We received an lease application for apt [redacted] with a payment of $280 from [redacted] and her roommate [redacted] in early May. Their application was denied due to credit/criminal related reasons, but we did everything we could to dispute the claim. When [redacted] was unable to provide...

adequate documentation to reverse the denial, we were forced to cancel the application. We tried reaching out to [redacted] and [redacted] on several occasions prior to this cancelation, but they never responded. The only time we heard back from [redacted] was on May 26, 2017 asking for us to make sure that we cancel her application. We did so and have since processed her full refund of $280. We received word yesterday from our accounting team that a check will be cut as soon as possible. [redacted] and [redacted] should receive a check on or before June 24, 2017, as we are allowed a 30 day window to distribute refunds. We already informed [redacted] and [redacted] of the refund process, so it was shocking to see this complaint come through. Please let me know if any additional documentation is needed in order to support our response to the complaint. I would be happy to provide the final account statement showing that the request for her refund has been submitted. I would also be happy to provide a check number and distribution date as soon as it is available. Thank you.
