First. Mrs. [redacted] statement is false. My Manager [redacted] followed protocol. Mr and Mrs [redacted] tax return was prepared by Mr. [redacted] and then submitted to the IRS. The return was rejected by the IRS because one of the dependents was already claimed on another tax return. Mr....
[redacted] called the number given by Mr. [redacted] and left a message for Mr. [redacted]. When Mrs. [redacted] called to follow up, Mr. [redacted] told her he had left a voicemail for Mr. [redacted] regarding the rejection notification. Mrs. [redacted] stated Mr. [redacted] never received a call from ProTax Plus then the she changed her story and stated Mr. [redacted] phone records showed a call from our office but no message was left. So here, we caught her in a lie. Mr. [redacted] called a few times and left a message asking Mr. [redacted] to contact our office. When I got involved, she stated the same thing to me that Mr. [redacted] never made an effort to contact them. I then asked about the voicemail and again she changed her story. I tired to explain the situation but she kept focusing on no communications which was false because phone records clearly show Mr. [redacted] made several attempts to contact Mr. [redacted]. Before any changes to a taxpayers return can be made after the initial signing of the tax return, we must contact taxpayer to get consent and if require have customer come back into the office to resign. She was also upset because one of her dependent's social was already used on a previous tax return and we could not tell her who claimed one of their dependents, and this is because the IRS keeps that information confidential to ensure taxpayers dont go after each other. She made it clear that if it was her step daughter and she didnt really care. Also she clearly stated she works for a tax attorney and if she needs to get her involved she will. At that point, I took that as a threat and I got irritated and interrupted her because I dont care for threats. I told if she wanted to go there, I have also attorneys and we can get both of them involved. I later looked up the attorney she works for and this attorney is a family law attorney, so again another lie from Mrs. [redacted]. One of my thoughts, if she works for a tax attorney, why couldn't she have completed her tax return at her attorney's office for FREE? Second thought was she desperately needed her refund and was looking to blame anyone for delays. This is common. When a taxpayer's refund gets delay or offset by the IRS they tired to blame the tax preparation office. Many times, the taxpayer fails to inform the tax office that they own the IRS money such as over due Child Support, outstanding student loans or any IRS debts. So the facts are Mr. [redacted] followed protocol, we caught Mrs. [redacted] in several lies and worse she threaten to get her attorney involved. I appreciated this notice. I will be forwarding to my attorney to see in any legal actions are require against Mrs. [redacted] making false statements against my company. [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: At this point his response proves my point of the rudeness and unprofessional tactics of this business. It will become a he/she said and he feels he is right, which is sad. He was rude from the start and there are other reviews that side with me. He doesn't have a very good rating and we will never thankfully use his business again.. It is very apparent he did not read what I presented. For the record I do not and have not worked with a tax attorney. My current employment is of no consequence in this action. This company did file our taxes finally and I feel that their customer service, how they treat another human being needs to be evaluated. To the rest of his statement - false, misleading - half of the information he never even told me (stepdaughter being the reason we couldn't file, fist I heard of it) and proves my point of the unprofessional attitude that he has towards another human being. The result I wanted was my taxes filed - it was finally done 11 days after we had paid them and after we to make a complaint. I hope that the Revdex.com does something regarding the customer service/unprofessional tactics and lies this company represents as a whole.
