Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Dear Customer Service, Given I have not heard from anyone at ProTec Roofing yet, I am rejecting their last response This is almost exactly where I was almost one year ago, waiting for ProTec Roofing to contact and assist me Thus no further ahead other than half of my roof has been repaired by another contractor and I paid almost the same amount to repair half of my roof as I did the entire job in 2014.I would like ProTec Roofing to put their offer and plans in writing [redacted] I have also attached photographs of my damaged wall The damage does not look like much however keep in mind it is an exterior wall so in order to repair it properly it would cost a substantial amount of money[redacted]

Due to the state of your roof after it was reroofed by ProTec Roofing Services back in September of we have established as you have that a new roof is in orderWe will honor your roof redo with the point taken that it was originally done by previous owners and not by us and they did not
rectify any of the problems with the service that they should have provided.With this being said we will be redoing your entire roof in with one stipulationThis is as follows:If we are able to reuse any or all vents that are existing we will do so and if not we will replace them.We will be supplying your roof with *** *** year shingles (earth tone cedar), 15lbfelt paper for entire roof and labour for the installation of the roof.I trust that this will be to your satisfaction.On behalf to the previous owners and the crew tha originally worked on your home we apologize and hope that this will help us with the mending process of the reputation that we are striving to regain with our company

June 19, 2017Re: *** * *** ** *** *** *** *** ***To Revdex.com: As per your request I am sending you this letter to inform you as to what has taken place with ***'s roof repair. Spring of 2016: Peter (our repair person) went out to her home and
stated that the roof was in good condition but that the problem was with the stuccoPeter attempted to seal the holes in the stucco to alleviate leaking until it could be repair properlyPeter told her that the stucco should have been repairs or at least brought to her attentionHis remark about what should never have been left the way it was that it was geared toward her stucco, not the roofThe stucco was deterioratingPeter also told her that the tar was a temporary fix until she could get a stucco installer in to repair it*** agreed and said she would get someone in. In fall of *** called and said she couldn't find anybody to do the repairShe told Peter that she had people come and look at the wall to repair but she had not been successful in finding anyonePeter offered to take the stucco off and replace it with siding (for a fee) - *** declined. Peter told her that once she had the stucco repaired that he would come back to be sure that the shingles weren't damaged from the stucco replacement and would change any of those that were damaged. Now *** is saying that she has had roofing companies and a stucco company telling her the valley should be checked and material brought up along the neighbors stucco wallI cannot stress enough that you cannot cover or even butt up to stucco with any roofing materialsThe stucco must first be removed to install membrane or roofing materialsI can't see any professional person advising someone to do what *** says they told her *** *** *** ***. Peter stated to *** that in order to rectify the leak, her stucco needs to be repaired or replaceHad she have called and told us the stucco is being repaired Peter would have went over to be sure that we did our part in the process. We have called *** numerous times and there was no answer or a returned callto rectify this problem for her we will still offer to come out once or when the stucco is being repaired or replaced to do our part on her home.
