Thank you for the opportunity to address this claimWe are deeply saddened and disappointed that this issue has escalated to such a level*** *** visited Becnel’s Automotive February 1, to purchase an Orleans Parish Vehicle InspectionDuring his vehicle inspection, our employee received
proof of vehicle registration, insurance card, and valid Drivers License which he used to complete the inspection formPer our employee, *** *** was returned all his itemsLater that day MrStafford returned to the shop and advise that he did not receive his Drivers License after his inspection was completeBecnel’s Automotive Repair management accompanied *** *** to his vehicle and help him look for his Drivers LicenseThe License was not found in his vehicleManagement and *** *** reviewed footage of his transaction*** *** was able to observe our employee hand him several documents; however, *** *** felt that the footage did not prove his Drivers License was in the group of items that he received on cameraMrBecnel, the owner of Becnel’s Automotive Repair asked *** *** how would he like to resolve the matterHe replied he needs a new licenseIt was agreed that he will obtain a duplicate Drivers License and return the receipt to Becnel’s Automotive Repair for full refund. On February 2, *** *** returned to Becnel’s Automotive Repair with a receipt from ABC Notary & Auto Title IncThe receipt showed a total of $MrBecnel immediately handed *** *** $cash and they both signed the receipt as paid in full (Please see attached copy for your record)When *** *** left the shop he appeared to be extremely happy and satisfied as evidence by his signature. To recap, the misplacement of the Drivers License could have occurred by either our employee or *** ***Becnel’s Automotive Repair take customer satisfaction very serious; therefore, we owned the situation and took full responsibility of the situation by making the customer whole again with full refund of the cost of his duplicate licenseThe resolution was that of the customer’s choiceThe customer signed the resolutionThe customer left happy and appeared satisfiedBecnel’s Automotive Repair sincerely apologize to *** *** for anything he feels was not completed in his best interestWe currently enjoy the pleasure of having a 98% customer satisfaction rating and we are saddened that we missed the opportunity to express a heartfelt apology to *** ***Becnel’s Automotive Repair welcome customer feedback and would have preferred *** *** to have a sit-down conversation with management about his experience instead of escalating to the level of public complaint with inaccurate account of the eventWe still welcome *** *** back for a cup of coffee and conversation
