papers, before sending a refund of Ms***'s donation for membership, lies in Ms***'s tone and terminology in her request.The longstanding associations for retired teachers and their surviviing spouses, have been verbally trashing our associationUntil that began occurring, no one had requested a refund in the years I have lead this and similar retiree associationsWhen certain phrases are used, they indicate some outside influcence other than the stated cause.We know before mailing to a retiree or survivor, whether or not, they have a registered POA or guardian, and we do not mail to them.When Ms***'s email came in with a threatending clause and familiar phrase, we simply asked for corroborating evidence, so we could tell if it were Ms***'s not wanting her momn to join, or just an attempt to stop her, because Ms*** didn't want to join and additionally her mother either.If Ms*** really didn't know what she was doing, we will gladly refund her contributionWe have her address as *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** not the Vienna, Ohio address Ms*** stated.Sincerely,William I W***Executive Director
