I am rejecting this response because:
ProTech Painters solution is for me to find a taper at my expense to correct the problem which should be his job to find a taper as I know nothing about it and that is why I hired a professional company to do the job in the first place I did call a taper that was referred to me by Sherwin Williams Paint Store and he will come and look at the cracks within the next weeks as he is very busy now Also I went on Google and watched videos on "How to fix ceiling cracks" and I do not believe from what I saw that your tapers did the job correctly I saw them doing the taping and you are going by what they told you I have spent many hours researching to solve this problem and I am not getting what I was guaranteed to get the job completely done

The customer, *** ***, contracted ProTect Painters to paint the ceiling and walls of his attached unheated garageWe communicated to him that some of the joints would need to be retaped as the drywall was originally just fire tapedWe did this and completed the paint job*** was
concerned about the kind and quality of the paint we used so we arranged a meeting with a District Sales Manager at Sherwin Williams to address his concernsAlso, because of his concern and our confidence in the paint we provided him with an extra year warranty (Three years total) on the paint and painting.The following winter, and each subsequent winter after that, I have received a call from *** letting me know that certain sections of his ceiling were cracking on the seamsFollowing winter, I engaged two separate professional drywall companies to come out and do the repairsI used a different company the second time as the original drywall company owner was having health issuesAfter the repairs we repainted to areas to match the rest of the walls and ceilings*** is retired so has had the opportunity to observe the project progress initially and on each subsequent visit.This past winter *** contacted me again regarding cracks along the ceiling seamsI reached out to the last company that did the work along with other drywall companiesThey all affirmed our previous work was industry standard(We had tried different tapes, both paper and mesh) I communicated this to *** that from our perspective, everything had been done correctlyWanting to still address his issue and take care of him if this in any way turned out to be a workmanship issue, which I had been assured by professional drywall companies that it was not, I offered *** a solutionHe could contract with another professional drywall company of his choosing and have them do the repairsIf the repairs made it thru the winter without cracking, that would affirm his contention that this was a workmanship issue and I would reimburse him for the cost of the repairsIf the cracks reoccurred as they have been every winter, this would confirm that workmanship was not the issueI have communicated this to *** on more than one occasion and he finds the proposed solution unacceptable.I have tried to work with *** and own any potential issue on my partThe solution proposed in my mind addresses both the customer and my desiresThe painting, and paint, have held up thru all the seasonal weather extremes with no issues as I had originally promised
