Mr*** *** retained our law firm, on behalf of *** *** *** *** (***, to assist the business in resolving its debts to *** *** *** *** and On Deck Capital. We have reviewed the client's complaint and dispute the allegations made.Our firm successfully
settled *** debt to EBF, achieving *** a substantial savings, on or about August 25th, 2017. Mr*** does not dispute this work having been performed. We do regret having a missed communication from Mr***. However, as he states, one of our firm's representatives did return his request for contact. In fact, our firm has maintained consistent contact with Mr*** throughout the course of the representation. Mr*** also requested a itemized accounting of fees. However, our firm charges a flat-fee retainer for services, a permissible fee arrangement also common in the legal field, as opposed to hourly billings. Thus, such an itemized billing is not available.Our firm is committed to keeping our clients' interests first. to J&K Although this firm denies Mr*** remaining allegations, we fully refunded J&K all paid fees on or about August 23, 2017, as a professional courtesy and to resolve any outstanding complaints he may have

Craig A. Fairbanks, on behalf of Craig Fairbanks Homes ("Fairbanks"), retained Protection Legal Group ("PLG") on or about April 27, 2017, to resolve certain of Fairbank's debts However, after approximately days, *** failed to remit payment
to PLG as contracted. PLG and *** therefore agreed to place Fairbank's representation on hold, due to financial difficulties*** later agreed to resume payment of our firm's retainer fee on July 6th and then again August 10th Again, no payments were received On or about August 15th, *** requested the hold on representation to be continued indefinitely Mr*** has not requested cancellation or a refund of previously paid fees In fact, our office continues to maintain communication with him, exchanging email correspondence as recently as September 8th, in an effort to determine when payment and representation will resume We therefore request that he continue to follow up with his assigned client support representative for further assistanceThank you

[redacted] is business owner who received a call from another company, Corporate Bailout, not Protection Legal Group.  Corporate Bailout at times refers businesses to our firm that may be in need of legal representation.  The filing she referenced is...

called a "UCC-1" (Uniform Commercial Code); not a “DCC-1.”  The UCC-1 is not a NJ tax document, but rather a financing statement, filed by a lender or other such financier, with an applicable S[redacted]  
  There was clearly some miscommunication between the Corporate Bailout representative and Ms. [redacted].   However, there were no activities cited by Ms. [redacted] that would in any way constitute a scam, as Corporate Bailout and Protection Legal Group are legitimate business entities.  Please note Ms. [redacted] did not remit funds to either entity, nor is she scheduled to do so.  Corporate Bailout has advised us that they added Ms. [redacted] to their "Do Not Call List."  Ms. [redacted] is free to contact us if there is anything we can do.   Thank you, Protection Legal Group, LLC

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while I am not asking for money, I still find Legal Protection Group and Corporate Bailout's way of doing business to be dishonest. The fact that I could not distinguish between Dcc-1 and Ucc-1 because of background noise does not make the situation any better. These companies are still running a scam. Whether it's tax debt scam or a loan debt scam makes no difference to me. I am surprised to find Legal Protection Group well-rated on your website, considering that they engage in phone scams through an affiliate. I don't want to pursue this further, because I realized my mistake and have reported it as phone scam instead. You can consider it resolved, but please reconsider Legal Protection Group and Corporate Bailout's Revdex.com ratings.
