Not Worth the Cost
I paid $3500 for the middle premium plan. Read review where others paid half or less for the same plan. Adding insult to injury they only paid $542.49 for my parts and labor bill totaling $1137.99 for an alternator replacement and refused to pay $244.99 for the battery the alternator destroyed stating batteries are "regular maintenance" parts. Even after the mechanic explained the battery was good until the alternator destroyed it.This is not a company you can trust and certainly not a cost benefit. Better put "waste of money".

Western Diversified Services, Inc. (“WDS”) is in receipt of your letter dated February 20, 2018 and, it has been forwarded to me for review and reply. WDS is the administrator of the Vehicle Service Contract (“Service Contract”) and we respectfully request that you change your records to...

reflect the correct company name. We appreciate the opportunity to review this matter and hope you find the following information helpful.     Coverage is not automatic just because a claim has been filed. There are certain conditions that must be met for a claim to be covered and there are also coverage exclusions. For example, the Service Contract does not cover Breakdowns caused by the failure of non-covered parts or non-manufacturer recommended alterations to the vehicle. Therefore, determining the cause of the Breakdown is required.    Prior to Mr. [redacted] filing his complaint, the repair facility was unable to determine the cause of failure. After Mr. [redacted] filed his complaint, we received further information from the repair facility stating that they may have found the cause of failure. We will perform an inspection on the vehicle to see if the failure is covered under the terms and conditions of the Service Contract.     By pointing out the foregoing, WDS does not waive, but specifically reserves, any and all rights and defenses it may have under the Vehicle Service Contract and the applicable law.    Sincerely,                                   ...                                          Peggy E. I am rejecting this response because:The letter from Peggy seems to contradict the letter I received from the adjuster as to the length of time it will take to mail payment to the lien holder. The Peggy is stating 7-10 business days, and Catherine, the adjuster, stated the check would be overnighted.  I have been told contradicting things by this company before, as shown in my complaint. I want to hold this complaint open until the lien holder can confirm that payment is received, and the loan is paid off. I am attaching the email the adjuster sent to me Thursday, March 16, 2017.Regards,[redacted]Kindly be advised that your claim has been processed.  The GAP benefit amount is for $ 722.52 and we will overnight the check to your lending company. If you have any question, please feel free to contact us.Thank you, Catherine **GAP Claims AdjusterGAP DepartmentTelephone Number:  [redacted]Fax Number:   [redacted] Protective Asset Protection[redacted]DeerField, IL 60015Protective Asset Protection[redacted]Deerfield, IL  60015Phone [redacted]     www.protective411.com
