Protocol Contracting

Due to an address change, my first awareness of this filling with the Revdex.com happened this morning and this has been my first chance to respond [redacted] contacted me stating that 30% of the finish on the deck was peeling Within business days I visually inspected and found that it was 99%, Alarming and the first time I had ever seen this issue My first thought was that some type of snow melt product had been put down at some point over the winter and I agreed to follow up with the manufacturer...and I did ***s wife called four days later and she soon got quite rude, when I said I wanted to wait for a response from the manufacturer, it got clear to me I was not going to be able to respond due to her loss of temper and I thanked her for checking in, and yes...I hung up Three hours later [redacted] texted, threatening me with a law suit Once on that plane of interacting and after experiencing the level of inconsistency, exaggeration and what I suspect is un-truth about the stain lifting in the first place, I am choosing not to interact...at all with these people The manufacturer validates my suspicion and hasn't had any other complaints or issues like this Even though any warranty for this type of work had expired when [redacted] called I was willing to investigate and follow this through My decision to throw in the towel came as the result of immature behavior and threat of legal action, I do not operate that way and my record shows this After years of business this is my first complaint, on or off the record...I have never needed to adversities, my customer base and reputation speak for itself.Once again I am sorry this happened and I was available to participate in finding a solution...but not on this level, I wish them the best.
