Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
After the merchant did not show for a scheduled meeting and did not even reach out to me until a week later I told him it did not make sense for me to continue trying to work with him as I can not just wait at my home and not have him show.I see his response to indicate he is not willing to finish the issue and I will move forward with contacting the other outlets to let them know the type of business he runs.
Regards,

In 2010 PPP power washed, stained and replaced a couple rotted boards on our rear deck. They used a deck stripper to remove dirt and the old stain. A wood brightener was also used to help restore the color of the old wood. They used a Sherwin Williams semitransparent stain which worked well.
Rob had great communication; the team was prompt and kept the work area clean and tidy throughout. He was able to accommodate my busy work schedule so I was able to be home when work was being performed. I contracted with them again this year (2016) to do the same process and possibly power wash the house.

I had the interior of my whole condo painted - 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths including the cabinets, woodwork, all interior doors and trim. During quote preparation, the company owner did a walk-through, took detailed notes of my wishes, and took videos as well. The color consultant, that came next, was most helpful in helping confirm my favorite color palette. The whole process made me feel very comfortable because it was so thorough. The painting crew arrived on time, worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves each day. Because of a slight language barrier, I felt I should check their work and provide feedback. The crew chief was most receptive and actually encouraged questions each day of the four day project. He provided me with his contact information, and a form to list any areas that need touch ups as discovered, after they finished. The project took longer than expected, with a very late, and slightly rushed last night, but in general I am very satisfied and pleased with the quality of the work. It looks beautiful!

My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of the house painting job that Proud Precision Painters did on our home in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. It was professionally done and the paint crew came when they said they would and finished when they said they would. Our home is a cedar shingle wood frame home with a small amount of brick veneer and a brick chimney. Prior to the painting preparation, Proud Precision Painters' carpenter repaired many areas that needed attention. He closed and calked cracks and replaced rotten wood. His work and that of the painting crew made this job the best we have ever had at our home. (We’ve had the house painted many times during the 42 years we have lived here.) We have a pest control company service our home regularly and that company representative remarked that the house is now very tight and he expects no invasion of pests at our home. We are very thankful that we had Proud Precision Painters prepare and paint our home.

More than just guys that paint! From the first call the folks are very courteous and want to do the right thing. They do a walk through to learn about what the customer is considering to get done and are very customer focused and professional. They also have a person come to the house from the painting crew the day before just to make sure everything is as discussed and no changes to original plan from the customer. The painters came in and were very friendly and did great work. They do a great job of filling in cracks, nail holes, skim coating, and caulking as needed above counters or to fill in baseboard gaps. They go above and beyond! The finished product is very nice quality and their work made our house a cozy home!

I had researched painting contractors and had hoped for a positive experience. I called owner Rob [redacted] on 4/22 and scheduled a free in-home estimate for Sunday April 24 @ 2:00pm. He later contacted me and requested to reschedule the appointment for the following day, Monday, April 25 @ 12:30 due to family issues. He emailed me at 10 AM on the morning of the appointment to say that he wouldn't be able to make it was very remorseful. I consequently agreed to a third appointment which we scheduled for Friday the 29th at 6 PM. I even texted him 15 minutes prior to the appointment to confirm his arrival to which he did not respond. He was a complete and total no-show for the appointment. Even though it's hard to imagine handling customers any worse, this contractor then ignored two follow-up phone calls and an email from me after wasting my time on three separate prior occasions. I try to be an understanding person but this was beyond the limits of my patience. We all have family emergencies which is why I gave him a third opportunity. However, to just completely not show up for a scheduled appointment is poor business acumen. Why bother even scheduling a customer? In summary, if you are lucky enough to get this "Proud & Precise" contractor to call you back, or to show up for an estimate, good luck getting him to actually show up for the actual job!
What a disappointment.

I found Pround Precision Painters by luck. They helped me with gutter cleaning, since I have a natural fear of heights. The woman that answered was very understanding and helped getting everything arranged. They arrived before the scheduled appointment and did a wonderful job. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you hire these guys for your future project.

I can't speak to the quality or "precision" of the painting services offered as they never even came to our house to look at the job after 2 no-show appointments and 2 canceled appointments. We received a gift certificate for 1 day (8 hours) of painting that was purchased in an auction. We scheduled our first appointment to look at the job, and received an email confirmation with the wrong date and wrong time. I waited at our house both on the scheduled date and time and the email confirmation time, and nobody showed for either. I called the company and they apologized and rescheduled. On the rescheduled date, I called to confirm the appointment and it was canceled by the company. Again, they rescheduled. On the third try, I again called to confirm the appointment and it was canceled and rescheduled again. Upon scheduling a third appointment, we again received an email confirmation with the wrong date an time. Finally, on the 4th try, we set a date and time to meet. After waiting at my house for nearly 2 hours, nobody ever showed to the appointment. I called the owner, [redacted], to ask why he no-showed me again. He did not answer my call and I left a voicemail. So I subsequently call the company office to ask why I was left hanging for a fourth time. They obviously apologized and said they would get back to me immediately. 4 days have now gone by and I have yet to receive a phone call, email or apology for standing me up a 4th time.
It is extremely unprofessional, frustrating and disappointing to be canceled on twice and no-showed twice. These were dates and times that the company dictated and I arranged my schedule to accommodate their dates/times. After no-showing/canceling for a 4th time, they don't even have the decency to call me back and apologize. Apparently they are perfectly comfortable to just let this opportunity pass by after they screwed me 4 times. If I didn't have a gift certificate, I would have called another company after they canceled on me the second time. Now I'm three weeks behind in finding a painting company to do the job, as I was relying on using the gift certificate.
1.) They can't take appointments and send a correct email confirmation.
2.) They can't show up to appointments THEY scheduled.
3.) They can't can't communicate either by phone or email.
4.) They can't apologize for screwing a potential customer 4 times.
5.) They don't have the decency to own up to their mistakes and make up for it. They are totally comfortable to just [redacted] off customers.
6.) They are obviously not concerned with their reputation.
I understand mistakes happen, but not having a care in the world about reputation or professionalism is disgusting. There are now 6 families that know about this experience and I'm sharing it here so that nobody has to suffer like I did. "Proud and Precision"??? There is none of either...

Review: I paid this merchant to fix a crack in my ceiling and to handle painting of both the repaired area as well as other areas in my home. The repair has already failed and I am in the same situation as before.Desired Settlement: I would like either a portion of my money back so I can pay someone else to fix or the merchant fix what was not done as promised.
