At this time, I have not been contacted by Provide Automotive Inc. regarding complaint ID[redacted].
Sincerely,
[redacted]

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Provide Automotive Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The company contacted me a while back because [redacted]'s ordered for them to return my money for the towing fees, however, I lost more than that. I had to pay for taxi's, I lost out on a trip to Camel Beach, tickets worth $120 and lost a day of work.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Provide Automotive Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:...

The business contacted me because they had no other choice. I had contacted [redacted] who found them liable for the towing. They found that as soon as I walked into the [redacted], my car was latched on to a tow truck and taken away. [redacted] called the company and demanded they refund me my money immediately. The apology was minimal and there was no remorse for what had happened. The "[redacted]" did not want to reimburse me for other damages caused by this behavior and he showed little to no remorse for the entire thing! I was disrespected, mocked and humiliated. So although I was contacted and refunded the towing fee, this was still not completely resolved.

Review: I patroned a White Castle restaurant on 12/**/13. I noticed I was being watched by a group of three men. I left my car in park and went inside the White Castle. I went to wash my hands and notice a man following me. The man yelled that my car was being towed. His transpired in no more than 5 minutes after I parked. I explained that I was a customer to he restaurant and the employee stated he did not care and would take my car unless I payed him. He held my car hostage until he processed my payment and one of his co workers followed and stalked me four blocks to receive money from me. I was basically forced to pay for services I didn't render or my car would be taken away to another borough as threatened by the employee named Christian. I was followed and bullied by the employees for monetary gain and want a full refund.Desired Settlement: A full refund.

Review: On 11/**/13 I went to the shopping mall on Boston Post Rd. I had a hip replacement and my Mom had a knee replacement so we both walk with a cane. I pulled into a park that had a handicapped sign faded on the ground (it was unnoticeable) and there were no signs telling me not to park in the handicap park like the parking spot directly across from the park I was in. I have pictures of both parks. I was in the store for 10minutes so that tells me that someone was right there waiting for me to go in the store. How can you be towed from a park that does not have a sign? After I searched the parking lot for the number of the tow company and got the address, I went to get my car and asked the young men how can they tow a car that does not have a sign? They were both rude and started laughing at me. I went to check my car and all doors were unlocked and my pocket book was on the seat ( I keep it on the floor under my back seat when I get out). There is no reason for any tow truck to go in your car while towing and check your personal. I went through my wallet and my bank card was missing, I immediately cancelled my card. I feel violated because my privacy was invaded. I would like a formal apology and a refund of $136.00 I did not call the Police because I did not have extra energy to wait around for hours in the Bronx for a cop to come and take a report. Please let me know if I should make a report about my car being broken into. I'm sure the cameras on the premises will let you see that my car was open and my pocketbook was on the seat if they didn't do it in the lot.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund and a formal apology. They preyed on the disabled without a cause. I have pictures of the park which the C-Town owner told me to do.

Review: I arrived at my car just as it was hooked up to the tow truck. They hadn't moved my car out of the spot it was in. I was told I had to pay $136 for them to unhook my car from truck. My car was moved from the spot into the street facing the wrong direction. I proceeded to pay with a credit card and was told I had to pay in cash or my car would be taken to the impound yard. The tow truck driver said he didn't have a credit card machine. I was told to go to atm machine inside the check cashing place or inside of the diner that was down the block. When I questioned the fact that he didn't have a credit card machine, I was asked "what are you going to do"? I proceeded to the check cashing place and took out $140. I gave the money to the guy and he unhooked my car and drove away without giving me my change. My car was left on a busy street facing the wrong direction. I had to drive half way down the street in the wrong direction until I was able to make a turn. The guy was rude and left my car and me in a dangerous location. The driver didn't even have a pen on him to fill out the paper work. He asked me to use my pen. He had the nerve to ask if he could keep my pen. When I said no, he said he would buy it from me for $2. He also walked away with my pen.Desired Settlement: I would like all of my money back because I felt like I was taken advantage of because I was a female. It was very upsetting and insulting that I was forced to go to withdraw money from a check cashing place which charged me a fee and I will be charged another fee from my bank. I explained that to the tow truck driver but he didn't care. I could have gotten into an accident driving down the wrong side of the street on fordham road which is a high traffic area.

Review: I happen to find myself on [redacted] today, 9/**/14 . I stopped at the [redacted] on [redacted] to get some refreshments and came back. I dropped my bag of goodies from the place in my car and crossed the street to the other side to ask for directions to locate the parking in the mall near by. this did not take 2minutes and walk back and see this car reversing in the street and trying to place his tow trunk under my car, I spoke to him and told him that is my car and he continue to place his trunk under my car and raise it up in front of me and goes on to tell me that he is towing my car because he has the right to and that he has a contract with [redacted]. upon that, I asked him to who me the contract and he tells me that, I can call 311 and if I take him to court then he will show me the contract. [redacted] is the his name and he told me that he [redacted]. he was going to tow my car to an impound and I can come pick it up on monday and pay $400 or I can pay $136+ for him to drop my car off his trunk to the ground. when I asked if he has a card reader - he told me to all 3 blocks down the street, there is a [redacted] with an atm machine - this guy literally tackled me in the street and took my money, cash and all for reasons I don't understand. I have never met such a character yet, rude and rude and just plain cruel and disrespectful, deceitful as well. crossing the street and back did not take 2 minutes and I had to deal with this piece of work called a [redacted].

I don't like being bullied or being taken advantage of by people or anyone because I do my best not to do it to others. I have filled a complaint the NY consumer services and I am filling one with u as well, because I believe that this company and their practices need to be evaluated. I asked to speak with the [redacted] at the [redacted] location and she tells me to pick it up with the company and while talking to the [redacted], some of their consumers were telling me that that store has being working with the trunk company to connive and take peoples money. I'm sorry. I am one not to complain but I had to do something because people like him walk away bullying and taking advantage of unknowing customers.Desired Settlement: I want my money back in cash just as he took from me and I want a copy of his so called contract that he has with [redacted] on [redacted]

Review: On 7/**/13 My vehicle was towered away from White Castle parking lot on [redacted] by Provide Automotive Inc. I parked on White Castle parking lot, bought iced coffee and left the store for about 10-15 minutes to check the work by the City Contractor in front of white Castle. When I came back I saw my car hooked up by the tow truck. I tried to resolve the issue with the tow truck driver and his helpers but they were pretty rude and told that I have to pay $136 on the spot or they will tow the car to the Bronx. I asked again to release the car but was answered that it had to be towed away from the property. I called 911explained the situation to the operator and she told me to remain on the spot and that police will be on the seen shortly. The truck driver refused to remain on the parking lot and towered the car on Queens Blvd service rd. The police arrived shortly and the officer tried to talk to the truck driver, but as he refused to compromise I was advised to pay. I paid $136 and my car was left on Queens Blvd ifo White Castle facing the traffic. When I told the truck driver that it's unsafe and he has to bring the car back to the parking lot he refused. When I came back to the office and read the receipt it's printed there that I should be charged "$62.50 ( plus tax) if car recovered at scene of the violation and immediately removed. I called the Provide Automotive inc . and asked to send me a check for $68 but was refused. In all cases neither the truck driver nor the owner didn't provide there names.Desired Settlement: I want the refund of at least $68 as I was definitely cheated by the company as my car was recovered on the scene on the parking lot and don't need to be towered away. While I was standing over there waiting for police at least to consumers approached me and told that they were cheated by that company as well. This Company should be more friendly and definitely explain and charge right sum of money.

This response was taken by Revdex.com staff by phone:

"Consumer left his car on private property for over 15 minutes; it was then hooked up and towed away because he was not a white castle costumer. When the car was being towed away the consumer requested that we wait for police. Waited for police to arrive, when they did they told him to pay the fine, when he did his car was released. We will not issue refund."

This is a reply for your email from 8/**/13 regarding my complaint.

I didn't hear from the Business ( Provide Automotive Inc.).

Thank you for your time.

Review: On August **, 2014, I took my 4 year old to eat [redacted]. I parked my car, entered the facility and ordered food for me and my child. When the order was complete, I sat a table and proceeded to eat my meal. A few minutes after I sat down, my 4 year old yells to me, "Mami, Mami, someone is taking your car!" When I looked up, my car was leaving the driveway attached to a tow truck. I was confused and dazed by the situation. At first, I did not think it was the tow trucking company that is affiliated with [redacted] who took my car, I assumed it was the City and decided to call 311 to find out why my car was towed. After hanging up with 311, I went back to speak to the cashier that took my order. It was then I found out that their tow truck company took my car. A tow truck driver pulled back in to the [redacted] parking lot and I approached him to ask if it was him who towed my vehicle. He admitted and told me that he checked the facility for the [redacted] to the vehicle and received no response. I called his bluff and he proceeded to get nasty with me and told me to give him $125 and I would get my car. Furious, I started to ask for his name, which he refused to give me, then I took down his license information. This thievery on all levels. When I spoke to the [redacted], he told me that he witnessed me leave the facility and that is why my vehicle was towed. Funny thing is, my receipt says that I made my food purchase at 4:54 p.m. and my car was towed at 5:05. I had to leave my car at the tow pound until today, September *, 2014, which the [redacted] was nasty and gave me a difficult time to release my vehicle. He was nasty and threatening and along with him, 5 of his colleagues towered over me and caused strife calling me a liar and that I had no rights to defend myself. I was threatened and bullied by every single one of them.Desired Settlement: I would like to see this company lose its license and not be able to conduct further business. As you can see, there are five other complaints with the same allegations. This company treats people inhumane and are robbing hard working people of their money and then act like bullies when a customer is stating what their rights are.
