As noted, our insured's home was struck by a falling tree on 2/24/The claim was submitted at approximately 11:pm on the 24th, on the 25th the claim was assigned to an independent adjusting firm who inspected the damages that same dayA mitigation firm was called in by the insured and the tree was removed and the damaged area of the roof was covered to protect the dwellingOur insured subsequently retained a contractor and all sides have been working together to adjust the loss and derive the appropriate costs to repairWe received the independent adjusters report, and the insured's contractors estimate mid-April, additional adjusting needed to be done before an agreement could be reached by the parties which was done and on May 6th, the actual cash value payment was made to the insured and their mortgage company (as required) and sent to the independent adjuster to exchange for the appropriate proofs of loss required to be completed by the insuredOur file remains open at this time to conclude any remaining claims presented by the insured, including the recoverable depreciation once additional proofs are received of expenditures exceeding the actual cash value paid, as well as for the insured's additional living expenses the insured incurredAs the subject complaint to the Revdex.com was made immediately prior to the settlement being reached and subsequently paid on May 6th, a follow up call has been made to the insured today to make certain no additional issues exist and the insured is up to date on communicationsIf anything further is required, including additional information, please so advise

the tree was removed and the damaged area of the roof was covered to protect the dwelling. Our insured subsequently retained a contractor and all sides have been working together to adjust the loss and derive the appropriate costs to repair.
