Review: Upon arrival at the salon, I requested a pedicure and acrylic French manicure.a woman came over and started doing my pedicure. She did a great job on the pedicure. Before she started painting my nIls she requested I pay at this point before she started on my fingernails. She told me my total was $52. I paid her and also tipped her an additional $10 (overall paying $62). She then started painting my nails like a basic manicure rather than applying the acrylic (as requested) to my nails. When I stopped her, she didn't speak enough English to understand what I was saying. Another woman (perhaps the salon manager) who spoke more fluent English, came over and translated. She apologized for my inconvenience and told me to wait 5 minutes and she would apply the acrylic. Eventually she came over and started doing a pink and white gel manicure. Again, this wasn't what I asked for. Once she was finished, she told me I owed $99. I was stunned because I had already paid $62 (including tip). I informed her I had already paid $62 and when questioned about why my total was so high, she apologized again and said I only owed $47?? Once again I questioned her math. She told me that because I didn't know the pricing of the pink and white manicure, she would take $10 off, making my new total $37. According to their advertised pricing, a pedicure is $25 and an acrylic manicure is $25. However, when I asked her how much each individual service was, she said the pink and white manicure was $65 and the pedicure was $35. I paid a total of $88 for services rendered and an additional $10 for a tip. This was clearly a scam and an attempt to overcharge for services rendered.Desired Settlement: I have two charges on my [redacted], one for $52 and one for $36. I would like this amount refunded. I paid the tip in cash. I am not requesting the tip be refunded.
