I was very disappointed with Provincial movers customer service or lack there ofMy 'Senior' Relocation Specialist did not provide any information about my move once the items were picked up I was business days into my move and I didn't know if my items had left Ontario, what the final weight / cost was, what the list of items entailed or when my shipment would arriveI also found days before I received my shipment that the cost of my move was $more than what the quoted since they claimed my items weighed more than what was quoted This all could have been handled better had my 'Senior' Relocation Specialist taken the time and effort to provide me with all of the pertinent details of my moveI followed up several times and was provided any information or sent any follow up emails / calls to say she was looking into or would have an update for me shortlyAll I asked for were reasonable things - final cost, final itemized list, ETA and perhaps a heads up in a reasonable amount of time that my move would cost more than what they had quotedI was out days of work as they gave me a window in saying it might arrive one day but then it ended up coming the next The only positive was the movers on the Edmonton side were friendly / nice and my stuff seems to have arrived for the most part in piece Overall very disappointed with the staff in Toronto and would not recommend this company

Hi there,
I have had similar experiences with Provincial Movers and *** Movers *** *** *** *** ***
Provincial Movers has told me *** *** on March that if I give them $10,they will then release my possessions that I contracted *** Movers of the same original address and phone number (*** *** Rd Mississauga ON) to move nearly a year ago The original quote was for $1,CAD but jumped to $6,on delivery at our destination Today we received a letter from Ontario Protection Branch in which Provincial Movers states that they have no contract with me but they now want full payment of $12,for the return of my possessions and Provincial has already threatened to sell my possessions if I do not pay in full
Despite my many attempts to contact someone at *** Movers (starting June 2015) or Provincial Movers (starting October 2015) about my account the only contact I have been successful in having is through the Ontario Consumer Protection Branch All phone calls and emails have been ignored, messages have not been returned and they still have my possessions My only recourse is to take them to court
Please be mindful that Provincial Movers started with the same address as *** Movers and claim that *** Movers have gone bankrupt therefore Provincial has "bought" my contract from ***
Please note that the address for these businesses was *** *** Rd Mississauga ON which is also the addresses of now defunct businesses *** *** *** and *** Movers
Please note that *** Movers and *** are on the Consumer Beware List for Ontario

Worst experience I've ever had with a company by far. The most unprofessional rude people work here. I was told on the phone that I would provide them with a $100 deposit and then I could pay later when my goods arrived to their destination. They were diligent in remaining in contact up until they got my stuff and then it's radio silence. They don't inform you of the progress of the move or where your stuff is at all. They quoted me that it would take a week, it took a month. Also, once they received my stuff, they demanded full payment right away and attempted to charge my credit card twice without my consent. I called them and said that as per our agreement, I won't pay until the stuff is delivered. Patrick (The Mover) freaked out and was ridiculously rude. The bill was also double what had been quoted. He told me that if I don't pay now, who knows when I'd receive the stuff and that things cost money (To move). I had also been told that they would contact me 24 hours before my stuff arrived and I was not. They called me on a Saturday morning informing me that they were there waiting for me. Then I attempted to contact them and I was given more attitude. Simply the worst experience. They also frequently lie. Were not apologetic about illegally attempting to charge my credit card TWICE. I had informed them that I would not be in that province to receive the stuff because I was moving later and that friends would pick it up and that's why I really needed to know what time and day they were delivering my goods. They failed to mention that I had to fill out a form and send it to them to confirm that my friends could pick up my stuff, so that morning I was told to get the form signed within 30 mins or lose my stuff forever! Ergh just the worst experience ever with a company.

Hi there,
I have had similar experiences with Provincial Movers and [redacted] Movers. [redacted]
Provincial Movers has told me [redacted] on March 2 2016 that if I give them $10,000 they will then release my possessions that I contracted [redacted] Movers of the same original address and phone number ([redacted] Rd Mississauga ON) to move nearly a year ago. The original quote was for $1,400 CAD but jumped to $6,800 on delivery at our destination. Today we received a letter from Ontario Protection Branch in which Provincial Movers states that they have no contract with me but they now want full payment of $12,000 for the return of my possessions and Provincial has already threatened to sell my possessions if I do not pay in full.

Despite my many attempts to contact someone at [redacted] Movers (starting June 2015) or Provincial Movers (starting October 2015) about my account the only contact I have been successful in having is through the Ontario Consumer Protection Branch. All phone calls and emails have been ignored, messages have not been returned and they still have my possessions. My only recourse is to take them to court.

Please be mindful that Provincial Movers started with the same address as [redacted] Movers and claim that [redacted] Movers have gone bankrupt therefore Provincial has "bought" my contract from [redacted].

Please note that the address for these businesses was [redacted] Rd Mississauga ON which is also the addresses of now defunct businesses [redacted] and [redacted] Movers.

Please note that [redacted] Movers and [redacted] are on the Consumer Beware List for Ontario.

Never, Ever, Ever use this company. Please avoid them at all cost. I have just finished using them, with our move on May 31st into June 1st, 2016. I had used a Website that gathered all my information and sent it to multiple companies for the best quote. Well lo and behold, Patrick H. (the General Manager) contacts me with a really good quote. I spoke it over with my Husband and we decided to use them. I had called Patrick, and emailed him over the course of a month to secure everything and have all the details sorted out. I advise him that on May 31st at one location I had the elevator booked from 12 noon - 2 pm, and then on the 1st at the second location I had the elevator booked for the same time. He advised me no problem we will have it all worked out, and be there on time. On May 30th I called and spoke with him to confirm that I needed his truck and guys there for Noon as previously stated, and he confirmed that yes they would be there just before Noon. Well, the 31st arrives its 12:55 and no driver. So I called to speak to him and was left on hold for about 6 minutes, and Patrick was like 'oh they should be there soon, let me look into it and call back", ok no problem. Well 15 minutes go by, still no call, so I call back again. Then was told that yes they have left already and should be there shortly. The guys show up at 12:33. So I called him again, and was like ok they are here now, what time did they leave so I can ensure I am paying the correct amount. Oh they left at 11:45 AM, I was like how can that be it doesnt take 45 minutes from your warehouse to my door as I [redacted] Mapped it, abd he was like well it did, and I'm like how? So he put me on hold and came back and said thats it I am cancelling your move, and I am like how can that be and was told I am being a difficult client and that this wasnt going to work, and then he proceeded to tell me good luck in finding anyone on short notice with his rates. As I am a difficult client that doesnt know any Business sense, and I told him I would be writing a review and he's like that isnt going to do anything. So my Husband had to call him back and calm the waters. The driver did come back, however they didnt show up until 2:15 pm, and they left at 3:45 pm as our move was pretty small in comparison to other moves. He then proceeded to tell my Husband that they were charging us from 11:45 until 3:45 - so 4 hours of move because he didnt want to answer me why it took 45 minutes. In the end we found out it was because of doing a truck inspection, which needs to be done regardless and shouldnt have been included in my time. [redacted]. On the 1st, again we told him I have the elevator booked from 12-2, they didnt show up until 3:05 PM, again late as they seem to have a knack of. Everytime we called to speak to him we were put on long holds, and no one else seemed to know anything. And everytime he said let me check and call you back he never did. [redacted]. I am grateful to have my experience with them over, and will never use them on any moves in the future. I hope this review helps another unsuspecting person from using this company.

The reviews on their website are unbelievably misleading. I have no idea where they're getting them from and I was pulled into using this company for my move from Ontario to BC because of them. In the beginning their service wasn't bad - the movers came, picked up our stuff recorded everything, etc and left. It was when our items were delivered that the issues began. First of all we could not get a delivery date out of them. They quoted a full week span where they would deliver then call us 48 hours before. Well that week was almost up and we hadn't received a call. So we called them. Four times. And were given different answers by different people. Finally one evening when we called they said they would be there sometime the next day... anywhere from 12 hours to 20 hours from that phone call. So we rushed and had everything organized and they said they would call in the morning with what time they were coming. They called mid afternoon and said they would be there in 15 minutes. They also knew full well that my husband and I would not be there to accept the items because we would be out of province for work and had set up for my mother in law to receive everything into storage until we returned. The boxes showed up quite damaged and squished, and much of the furniture scratched. My mother in law was trying to account for the items arriving and they would not take the time to let her. They said they had 15 minutes to drop everything off and that was it and that she could count everything after they left. We'll she's 66 years old and can't lift more than half the boxes so she did her best to account for all our items. We got back from working in Alberta after a couple months and looked through the items ourselves and found that my hand painted guitar that was featured in an art gallery was nowhere to be found. I called the company desperate to locate in and they said since it had been ten days since the move they wouldn't do anything. Luckily my husband is quite persuasive and begged them to have a look in their huge lost and found warehouse. The guy agreed to and said he would call with a verdict by the end of the week. This was three weeks ago and no word... Needless to say I don't think the guitar was "lost" at all...

On top of everything that happened we were charged double what we were quoted.

[redacted]. [redacted]. We were told our stuff was being moved to Saskatoon after they picked it up in Cambridge ont. I had called and asked if we could get into the storage at one point in Saskatoon and he said no our stuff is behind others and cannot. So we asked to get our stuff moved the next week then had to wait until the Saturday after ok fine. Then two days before I get a call saying I won't have my stuff until the following week I was upset and she said due to delay in leaving Missisagua so I got upset to find my stuff in fact was not in Saskatoon. When I spoke with Patrick I was upset and explained he should t have [redacted] to me [redacted]. When my husband called he was hung up on numerous times. He back peddled said our stuff is in Saskatoon. When movers came he confirmed my stuff in fact never left Missisagua. I do not suggest anyone to use this company ever!! The moving guys themselves did their job well and was nice but Patrick is [redacted]. If he explained to me in first place my stuff was in Missisagua waiting more moving gigs before coming across Canada I would have understood but instead he [redacted] and I do not tolerate that well!

[redacted]. "What you see (price) is what you get!" "[redacted]!"That was quoted from Patrick. Damaged and loss of items that we can't get back.they don't call you back or email you back once they have your money. [redacted].

I was very disappointed with Provincial movers customer service or lack there of. My 'Senior' Relocation Specialist did not provide any information about my move once the items were picked up.

I was 7 business days into my move and I didn't know if my items had left Ontario, what the final weight / cost was, what the list of items entailed or when my shipment would arrive. I also found 2 days before I received my shipment that the cost of my move was $600 more than what the quoted since they claimed my items weighed more than what was quoted.

This all could have been handled better had my 'Senior' Relocation Specialist taken the time and effort to provide me with all of the pertinent details of my move. I followed up several times and was provided any information or sent any follow up emails / calls to say she was looking into or would have an update for me shortly. All I asked for were reasonable things - final cost, final itemized list, ETA and perhaps a heads up in a reasonable amount of time that my move would cost more than what they had quoted. I was out 2 days of work as they gave me a window in saying it might arrive one day but then it ended up coming the next.

The only positive was the movers on the Edmonton side were friendly / nice and my stuff seems to have arrived for the most part in 1 piece . Overall very disappointed with the staff in Toronto and would not recommend this company.
