I cant believe I cant get ahold of these ppl. Will not return calls. Keep giving excuses as where my file stands .

Back on July 2018 I made a decision to get a pardon. I called a company which was called Pardon Canada. The cost was 1354.87. They sent forms to be filled out. Went to reliability screening for finger prints and photos. Paid 80.00. Filled out all forms and sent back to pardon Canada. Was dealing with ***. Spoke to her on the phone and she confirmed that all paper work in completed and will here from Pardon Canada 7 to 12 months and no other forms needed to be filled out. In November of 2018, I received an email with forms attached to be filled out which was police checks, why I wanted a pardon etc. I called *** and she advised that these forms were sent to me in error and just to ignore the email. I called back in January for an update and was hung up on several of times. I finally was able to get through by blocking my cell number and left lots of messages. No return calls. Finally I received a call from administration which her name was ***. She advised, I needed to fill out forms, so therefore I did. Was additional cost of 63.00 for police check. She advised would be refunded back to me which ai have yet to receive. Finally my papers were sent to ***. On Friday November 30, 2019, I received more forms to fill out for more police checks. Cost 41.00. Then an additional 631.00 has to be paid to ***. I was never told of all these additional charges. This is a nightmare. I please ask for your help. What do I do? Where do I go? At this time I am very frustrated and need help.

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment This company has changed their name and address over a year. I have investigated this company and something has to be done. At this time I am looking for a refund as this is not what a human has to go through. I thank you and hope to hear from someone

This company told me that they were doing a half off sale , I found them off of *** I believe, the company repeatedly asked me for more money and when I said no they stopped work on my waiver and I never got it...

Customer Response • Dec 03, 2019

The application was not finished court documents were not obtained or payed for.

When I signed up for this I was under the impression that it was all in court fèes and us waiver money ... this is not the case. I was *** into believing it would all be taken care of...

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Dec 03, 2019

This client is ***. He was told eveything regarding process we never have ahd ever a 50% off sale the Government does not work like that. He was never *** and all cost minus his fingerprints and US Fee are covered court serches are provincial cost that the province charges not us. His file will be completed but No Refund will be issued.

Customer Response • Dec 04, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I would like a refund as this has not been a good experience for me at all....

My package is not complete and I was very un aware of the extra requirements needed such as

Finding 3 personal references I can not supply
Also I was told I needed to write out an explanation on why I did all my crimes...

*** my long term memory is gone

I live day by day and must write down things if I need to remember them..

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Dec 05, 2019

we did finish your application and the fee required for the border is not included we can help you with your personla statement and the references are only Character references they do not need to reference your past they are only 3 people that say they know you. We cannot refund an application that has been completed.

Customer Response • Dec 05, 2019

My application was not complete there are *** court documents that are still needed

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Dec 05, 2019

All your paperwork is complete and the Court paperwork is out of our control when it comes in we would send it with your application. I will have admin follow up on that. No refund will be issued and your file will be completed.

Customer Response • Jan 17, 2020

I have received nothing from them as far as the completion of this document

Misinformed me about the pardon process. I Agreed to eat the initial deposit I made of $400 dollars. I was promised a refund of the balance payment I made of $615 dollars on September 4, 2019. I was told this would take 7-10 business days to show up on my card. That was over a month ago. Now not returning calls, answering the phone or emails. They actually blocked my cell number and emailed me to say "stop phoning us on a daily basis". Thought I'd start here to spread the word of this nonsense.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Oct 11, 2019

This client wants his Pardon done for free He called in paid his Balance owing the called the next day to cancel it. We finished his file and it is now ready to go to the Parole Board of Canada. ***? You hire a company for a service you agree to pay the said company for a service, then say its ***? Also, this client took more than 1 Year to settle his account? He is very luck the account manager didn't send his file to collections. This complaint is baseless he took a year to pay and we finished his file but would not send it off to the PBC due to outstanding Balance he paid his balance we then prepared to send to PBC then he asks for his money back? We do not operate like this.

Customer Response • Oct 11, 2019

I was told the remaining balance owing of $615, would complete my pardon. I paid it and received an email stating I now owe $635 to the parole board. I was not aware of this. This was agreed as a miss communication and my $615 was to be refunded to me within 7-10 business days. I had a three way phone call between Mina and Kolt on this matter, and it was said to be refunded back, minus the $400 deposit I had already paid, which I was fine with. My calls were then blocked, hung up on, no reply to voicemails or emails. ***. I'm not done pursuing this either.

Customer Response • Oct 11, 2019

I don't want anything for free. I'm done with the pardon process and I'm fine with dying a criminal lol. I want my money back that was agreed to be refunded to me.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Oct 11, 2019

You are looking for free service our company completed your application in its entirety. Why would we refund you on a completed application? You paid your past due balance that was over 1 year past due we did not charge you interest or any fees for this delinquent account and now that was about to be mailed to the PBC you want your money back. Unfortunately, we cannot give you a refund on a completed application. The representatives noted above do not own or make financial decisions on this matter. Also, the language you used when speaking to these reps was recorded who uses language like that to a woman or anyone for that matter? Foul language and *** are not tolerated.

Customer Response • Oct 11, 2019

Your company misinformed me about the process then promised me a refund on my second payment. A couple of F words you're worried about? ***. ***. ***. I will also continue to phone and leave voicemails daily requesting my promised refund. Emails as well will be sent daily. Refund my second payment as promised. That's all that I'm asking for. I'm not paying $635 to the parole board and my prints will be expired if not already. Curtis E. is the person I dealt with originally with you guys. He no longer works there ***. He told me to give a deposit and wait for the process to go through the RCMP. He said it would take between 1-2 years to come back. I didn't hear anything from you guys and just assumed it was normal. *** got a hold of me and said I owed $615 to complete the process then my pardon would be finalized. Then, I found out I owed $635 to the parole board. I phoned immediately to inquire about this. *** and Kolt agreed to a refund on the second payment and I eat the $400. These people all represent your company. To say, what they tell customers doesn't matter, because they don't own the company is nonsense. They did in fact make financial decisions with me on the phone. You're saying you employ a bunch of *** then? This further proves my point about misrepresentation and bad information to get people's money. ***. ***.***. Like I said, I'm not done with this. *** and *** will have full voicemails daily to start with. I'm going to make as many people aware of you as possible.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Oct 15, 2019

You paid for your service and your upset because you paid for a delinquent account over 1 year. ***. You hired us to do a Record Suspension We completed the record suspension it took you over 1 year to pay for the record suspension. NO Refund will be issued. Also, both the above-mentioned reps do not make decisions on our business. This Case is closed you can call every day if you like we would be happy to provide you updates but no refunds will be issued.

Customer Response • Oct 15, 2019

The case is not closed thanks. You were supposed to bill my credit card a month after the deposit made. It's written in my confirmation letter. I was told it would take 1-2 years to go through the process. When I phoned and spoke to Mina B., she informed me my payment was not billed and I owed the final payment which I made. The following day, I get an email stating I now owe another $635 to complete the process. That's when your *** on the phone agreed there was a miscommunication and I'm getting my second payment back. I was told I would lose my deposit and that I was fine with. After being told 7-10 days I'd receive my refund, your *** stopped answering the phone then blocked my phone number. You can say whatever you'd like about them not being allowed to make financial decisions, they in fact did. As I said, *** and you do in fact owe me a refund. I have two emails from your staff saying I'm receiving one. That, is good enough for the credit card dispute, which I've already kicked off. ***. ***! ***. Thank you very little!!

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Oct 16, 2019

. No refund will be issued and we are happy to deal.with your credit card company. You hired us to complete a pardon we completed it. Your credit card was declined the following month so no it was not us you were delinquent on your payment for over 1 year. You paid what you owed us. This case is closed. Oh and no one blocked your email or phone number *** I asked the last two reps and both said no and I dont believe they have the access to actually do that anyways.

Customer Response • Oct 16, 2019

We'll see won't we. Credit card was never declined and number is blocked still, as of 2 minutes ago.

Do not send them money or documents. They have taken $2000 dollars from me and lead me on for almost 2 years in which time my court documents have expired. You can confirm it yourself. Call them and select any number from the directory, the only line they will answer is the new client line and then redirect you to a busy line or be disconnected. When you call back nobody will answer for days. At which point you will be concerned because they have not only your money but your personal info.. I'm calling the RCMP to pursue this company

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Aug 30, 2019

First off Court documents do not expire only fingerprints do. Your court paperwork was the only process that held up your application the problem on your application is the courts in Alberta are backlogged You are welcome to contact the RCMP and I would also be happy to speak to them Ext ***. On a side note, I have been trying to call you for 3 days now and only getting your voicemail.

Left a bad review last year, they immediately contacted me to complete the promised work that they were pre-paid for.
To date they have not contacted me, this has been going on for close to 3 years, the lack of contact is unacceptable and one can only assume that if they demand pre-payment, they have a low expectancy of someone actually willing to pay for their bad service.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Jun 20, 2019

Mr. O. received his service in full and his application was completed and mailed to the Police service to be destroyed. We cannot control how fast they operate and it does take time. The clearing of Criminal files is not instantaneous. He kept informed during his entire process. He originally contacted us to complete a US Waiver Application and it had to be switched to a File Destruction that's why his file has taken longer than usual, we start this application based on the client request we have no way of knowing the entire story until we receive their court paperwork and fingerprints. So the delay was of this client's own requested application. The file is now complete and is in the hand of the police service.

. They provided me with an incomplete application, 3 months after I was assured I would have clearance. Only for me to find out that I had to file it myself, $595USD and wait another 5 months minimum. Costing me a job ***.

After speaking with a REAL lawyer, I was told that these services are a *** and that I was luck to get anything at all from them. After reviewing their application, I found errors and had to redo it myself.

***.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Jun 04, 2019

This client received his completed US Waiver Application in under 1 year and everyone has to submit the application themselves to the US border. The fee for the Government is $585.00 USD, not $595 and it's on page 1 of our confirmation is big bold lettering, the wait from the CBP is not minimum of 5 months it can range anywhere from 30 days to over 1 year all depends on the factors for needing the waiver. No Record Suspension or US waiver firm is regulated and regarding competent we completed his waiver in under the time frame quoted.

Customer Response • Jun 12, 2019

"we completed his waiver in under the time frame quoted." No they did not, it was 3 months after the time frame we had discussed prior to me paying them. I was 100% assured that I would receive a rush service and that I would be able to attend a meeting in Florida in February 2019. After repeated ignored calls and emails, I was FINALLY able to get my package in May. They complained of lost or not provided documents several times, which I had spared no expense rushing to them, only to magically find them again

I have recordings of our conversations because we spoke on a server based business line. Before they rebut about wire tapping, as long as it isn't a third party recording (which would fall under wire tapping laws) there is no requirement for both parties to be aware that a conversation is being recorded, that is simply a common courtesy by service centers. These recordings have been presented to a firm who will move forward accordingly.

With respect to FINALLY providing a completed package, after fixing numerous errors in the package I was sent (they made errors on dates, typos in my history etc.), I have paid a lawyer to review it before submission.

They are also completely ignoring the facts I presented in my initial complaints, the focus of their response is a smoke and mirrors attempt to sidle truth again and on a $10 border fee difference instead (actually it's $777 Canadian right now) and how the time for the processing is variable. Right now, the wait is 5 months, this does vary due to the number of submissions of course.

That is all entirely irrelevant though and merely takes focus away from the fact that they blatantly lied (the "administrator" himself) on several occasions, about their completion time and then ignored several messages and calls. This seems to be a pattern for them according to an immigration lawyer and many public complaints..

I was told 'No problem' on more than one occasion before I quit my last job to take on a new role based solely on their confidence that they would be able to provide my with clearance by February 2019. That is undeniable and unforgivable. ***. ***. At ;least this is in print for others to see for themselves how they work around facts and try to focus on what was irrelevant.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Jun 12, 2019

Mr. S.is fabricating information. I would love to hear the recordings and we do not oppose to being recorded as we also do the same. 5 months is a time frame nothing more nothing less again as stated above it can be from 30 days to 1 year the 5 months is a time they put on their paperwork so that you do not call them before that time if you actually read the application it says just that. read below

The Admissibility Review Office (ARO) will make a decision on your application. You will be notified in writing of the
decision. The decision will be mailed to the address provided on the application. It is recommended that you wait until
after more than 90 days have passed from submission of your application before making a status inquiry.
If you have a question about the status of your application, email the following address: ***@dhs.gov.
Attorneys should send their questions to: ***@dhs.gov.

You can see from another review right here on the Revdex.com that a customer got his Waiver in hand in 6 months total so that right there would refute the CBP taking 5 months? Regarding the fee, it is $585 USD (Canadian exchange varies)and you were aware of this fee and in our paperwork one the first page it CLEARLY STATES US CUSTOMS FEE NOT INCLUDED on point 1. What immigration Lawyer said anything? Another statement for effect. This client received his Waiver within the time frame discussed and if he quit his job that is not something we discussed with him or advised him on so that would be his issue and nothing to do with us.

Paided for a pardon and a US waiver. Never heard back from them on the matter. Every time I called them, call goes straight into voice mail. If call is returned, its always 3 mins to when everyone leaves the office. I've asked for my money back by both email and voice when they have answered the phone. Been told I can't have it back. They offer a money back but they don't want to refund for a service they haven't provided. ***.
Product_Or_Service: legal services

Desired Outcome

Refund I want my money back. All of it.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Apr 26, 2019

This Clients file has been completed since Nov 2018 as noted in the time stamps on the emails, we have tried on a number of occasions to go through his paperwork with him to complete the file. ***. He never answers his phone it always goes straight to a busy signal as well. No refund will be issued client can have us complete his file as he paid us to do or we can mail his packages to him and he can complete it himself.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They have never contacted me over this. Im always the one calling them. I dont answer my phone as I work beside a 500 tone press. Everything was to be do e by email only. Last call to them I had a problem with the paperwork and they told me they couldn't help. I want my money back.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Apr 29, 2019

This is all new he never indicated all correspondence to be done by email? PLease show us an email indicating that. Regardless both his application have been complete for over 6 months and those emails were sent to him as shown in the time stamps Nov of 2018. No refund will be issued again he can have his paperwork and complete the application on his own or we can provide him a rep to do all submissions for him. NO Refund will be issued for completed jobs.

Customer Response • Dec 04, 2019

A year a go I filed this same complaint. to date nothing has been done or anything returned. I will be filing a complaint with the upper law and the police. I have been *** by the provincial pardons and waivers. im out $3000. they were hired to remove a 20 yr criminal record and us entry waiver. this simple process does not take 1.5 yrs to do. they wont call and they wont email.

The US waiver takes 90 days. they sent me the original app and the court records, to which they are not complete. tried to send me to the boarder with no good paperwork 6 hrs away when the airport can do the same process.

the only emails I get from them now are trying to get me to send more money for another service that costs $1400. they are not getting it. they haven't done any of the hired work. they also send emails with new company names. I smell a scam.

im sorry about any spelling errors, I can not write. im trying my best here. the last email from them was Oct 8, I asked a question on it and to date nothing.

I do want all my money back and any and all personal info they have on me. I can provide the receipts and all emails they have sent me. its in the email account and would a direct email to forward to.

Im asking for all my money and personal info returned

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Dec 04, 2019

We had a rep call you . *** and he left two messages and you refuse to answer or call back. We can provide screen shots. We have not changed our name we only changed our URL for 2 reasons first the applications are no longer called Pardons and 2 there are far to many companies using the word Pardon. No *** is taking place and if there is anything missing fromm your waiver probably better to call and have us resolve that as this process here only lengthens your process. The other service offered is optional and in no way manditory and it is our job to inform the clients of all the services available to them. Waivers do NOT take 90 days you mmay want to verify that directly with the CBP as they own website tells you waiver can take up to a year NO refund of money will be issued if you want your information back send and email to ***@***.org with an updated address and they will send it out

Customer Response • Dec 13, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I answered the last email you sent with a question, to date that question has not been answered. Ill ask here again, Has it even been sent in? I dont know what number your calling as I have no phone or any form of voicemail.

Right now if its still on your desk, the credit card info on it has been canceled.

Part of customer service is to keep in touch with your active accounts. your sir have not. you have taken my money for a service you don't intend to perform.

I want my money back and all my info.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Dec 16, 2019

. *** we have been in contact with you since you started your process. We completed both applications and sent you the final stage of the application to complete the process and we never completed it, we cannot control you and only you are able to complete those processes. Your info we would be happy to send you and you can complete the process on your own but no refund will be issued for applications that were completed and that you decided not to finish.

Started the pardon process back in October of 2013. Was told the process would take a few months. I paid $902.87 to Provincial Pardons. I filled out everything and provided all the information asked. Then nothing. I did not hear back from the company for 2 years. Asking for more forms to be filled out. Then another year passed. I followed up and they said there was more forms to be filled out and they required more money. So at this point I asked for my money to be refunded ***. I have tried numerous times to speak to someone there and I consistently get a voicemail. I have left messages and emails and yet the only response I have received is that they do not issue refunds and to call them to discuss. Total run around.

Desired Outcome

Refund the money they have taken from me.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Apr 12, 2019

We have not asked him for anymore money the $631.00 is the Canadian government fee to process application which he has to pay directly to the government. This is not something we can take care of for him. He paid a total of $903.00 no one could complete a pardon for $903.00. We will not provide a Refund for services we already rendered but we did assign him a rep to complete the file it is up to him if he would like us to complete the file for him or we can send him his completed application and he can submit it on his own.

Customer Response • Apr 15, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)No services have been rendered or proof that any services were completed. I have been in contact with the company and they appear to have lost all of my previous paper work that was paid for and submitted and they expect me to pay again.

Find it odd that I cannot get a hold of anybody to answer a simple question. *** I will be putting a stop payment on their services until further notice.

I hired this agency to file a pardon for me on mar.6/19. The next day I called to ask a few questions with no reply, next morning sent a message {because again wouldn't answer my calls} that I no longer want there services to cancel. Later that evening after hours Kolt finally returns my call, upon asking him a few questions he was misinforming me that a pardon would allow me into the US, which is false and was telling me some misleading information and when I replied that information was wrong according to parole board of canada web site he started backtracking now knowing that I knew more than he thaught. I told him to cancel which he replied no problem i'll receive an E-mail later that day stating that my credit card will be refunded, no e-mail. Again struggle to get a hold of them for a few days and when I did finally talk to him again my card had been billed and he keeps telling me he will refund. Its now mar 13/19 and still nothing.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Mar 14, 2019

This client is not being truthful at all his representative never avoided any of his calls as we keep a log of all interactions. This client indicated he had *** and anyone doing Pardon or Waiver knows *** is NOT a crime involving Moral turpitude and not something the USA will prevent entry. The client asked about the Nexus and he was told once his *** was cleared and record cleared he could apply. The Pardon was a fail-safe in case any rules changes and peace of mind. This client called to have a Pardon completed point in case CALLED US. The client was told his case would be referred to Admin. We do not provide refunds based on people changing their mind again he must refer his case to admin. No one is avoiding his calls or emails he is simply adding this for effect. The client should direct this to his representative to help him get this cleared up.

Customer Response • Mar 21, 2019

Funny I have unanswered e-mail's, calls not return for 2 days, talked to a person in admin and was told they couldn't do anything unless the boss approved it. Told by my rep. He would put in my cancelation and my refund wouldn't be a problem, so what's the problem, and like he said *** is ,t a problem to get into the states so why bother getting a pardon. I have e-mail to show his response that my refund would,t be a problem??

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Mar 21, 2019

Mr. G. again is not being honest all of his calls and emails were answered as he himself describes admin spoke to him and yes finance has to approve the refund as in most companies there is one department that handles that and secondly he is trying to get double back as he put in for a chargeback on his credit card while at the same time trying to rush a refund *** but regardless his request is with the finance dept and is being handled.

Customer Response • Mar 21, 2019

K T. is the one being dishonest, on the 8th of march he told me it would be processed that day, a week later of getting the run around with no results of course i'm going to put the wheels in motion. Besides it goes through the credit card company you really think a *** company is going to refund me double the money owed, not likely. I wish I could post our e-mails here for everyone to read and show who is being dishonest. I call*** not to be mistaken for provincial pardon by mistake once and talked to the reception lady there and her reply was good luck cause they been getting lots of mistaken calls of this nature, anyway its in the credit cards hands now and I got better things to do besides this.

I contacted Pardon Canada March 31 2018 and I spoke with administrator ***. I asked about the services and costs . He told me that the cost was 1200 including an initial consultation cost of 76.84 to be applied to the total cost of 1200.00 and the balance due. we set up an 3 payment installment plan of 374.05.
I asked him what was expected of me and what I had to do. I informed him at this point that I have a full time job and don't have the time to do this myself and rather hire someone to do the work. He informed me that all I need is to fill the form, do the Police Record Check and they will handle the rest. I asked about additional costs and he specifically said that there is not additional cost. I asked this because it was already costing me 1200.00.
He said he will set an appointment with the RCMP to do a Crim check which was one hour away so I went and I was told, no one set any appointment for me and the cost was 50.00.
I did the Police Check and I sent this to Pardon Canada. I waited and then was informed the name has changed to Provincial pardon and Waiver Services and they sent me another package and wanted more money to finish the application which included another form for another Police check and a detailed list of what I had to do.
I informed them that I was told that there will be no more requests for money and I had paid for them to do the work. I asked for a copy of a written agreement or contract I would have signed agreeing to this but they have been ignoring my emails.
***. I have not seen anything they have promised to do and they have contradicted themselves by asking for more money as well as telling me I have to do the work, I was paying for them to do.
I got a call from a lady at the end of her work day and she was in a hurry and could not answer anything I asked and I verbally asked her who the owner of the company was and how I can contact them so I can send an email requesting a refund. She go angry and told me "after all we did for you" I would ask for a refund. I informed her that no one did anything for me.
I am filing this complaint in the hopes that I will be refunded my money if they will not live up to their obligations.

Desired Outcome

I am requesting a full refund minus the initial consultation of 76.84 to which i agreed to. i made 3 payments of 374.05 on May 31 2018, July 1 2018, and August 31 2018. I was informed that this process is lengthy but now I am convinced that they have no intention to doing what they had promised to do.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Apr 17, 2019

You can clearly see in our confirmation PBC fee NOT Included which see accepted at the time and continued with our service and just to point it out its not in fine print its on line one in large font that it is not included

Customer Response • Apr 20, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)*** finally called me the same day Revdex.com emailed to inform me that they did not get a response from the business.I am not accepting his response because I feel he is using high pressure sales tactics when there is the initial contact. He boosts his achievements and minimizes the questions I asked especially in regards to additional costs. He told me there were no additional cost that they charge , but did not say to me at that time , that there were costs to Parole Board. I had not seen any documents at this time yet. They sent them afterwards to be signed when I agreed to what I was told.Mr. talked over me and seemed to minimize my concerns whenever I ask him questions during the course of the year. I kept emailing him including who I was told was the owner *** that I was very unhappy with the service and wanted a full refund and got no answer until I went to the Revdex.com and I was called the same day Revdex.com informed me they got no response. When he called me he was quick to explain he had gone to training in the States and seen that I had called. I was ignored for months from the company. When I said I was unhappy with the services and wanted a full refund he went into the 'overtalking me' and not allowing me to say anything and finally said I was being 'silly" and "crazy" for wanting to leave without completing what they had promised. He wouldn't let me talk and I finally raised my voice and said he "won't shut up" to let me finish and he became belligerent and said not to tell him to "shut up". I am getting scared that these people *** people who are turning to them for help. I should have clued in when *** was talking a mile a minute and wouldn't let me talk.I am not accepting anything they have to offer and want a full refund

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Feb 22, 2019

We have been working on this file for over a year the delay have been in the courts, as we all know when it comes to the courts, RCMP or Parole Board of Canada we have absolutley no control over this all of this is processed on a first come first serve basis. Also it is totally untrue that she hasnt had any contact since Oct we record all our calls and logs. Also she received and email from her Rep February 19th 2019 explaining to her that he was away and would return her call since then she has made no attemps to reach us. We do not provide refunds due to the process being longer than anticipated again we cannot control the process as related to Police, Courts or Parole board of Canada.

I hired this company to do a waiver application which I had once before and it took 9-months to be completed start to finish, this is about the average amount of time give or take a couple of months. After two years I kept calling them only to get the run around and no definitive answers from them. This continued for yet another two years and many many calls and e-mail to them. I wanted my money back as I felt this was way to long and I was going with another company. They refused to refund my money and I received a file a couple more months later and was instructed to go to the homeland security office and present it. I did this right away as instructed and sat there for four hours waiting to submit the file. I was immediately turned away as they stated the file was too old and finger prints were expired. so here I was four years later no closer to getting the waiver completed than I was on day one. I have contacted this company many times and they refuse to refund me my money. I have went with another company and my waiver has been successfully accepted and took years less time. I feel a full refund is in order as the service provided was just awful and how I have been treated EVEN WORSE. Please help me in getting my money refunded ***

Desired Outcome

Refund Refund or court proceedings.

This Client received his package twice and this is the same complaint two times? Do we have to keep responding to the same complaint? He was notified his fingerprints had expired. We will not be issueing a refund and if he went to another company to get his waiver done that was already complete? All he need was to get his fingerprints. This case is closed for us he will not be receiving a refund and he got his waiver and submitted it I can discuss maybe a refund of his fingerprints at best I would need to get that cleared from Finance but a refund of application cannot be done this case is closed.

Customer Response • Feb 22, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)This is typical of this company they do not care about their business reputation or clients whatsoever this file was received but it was outdated because they took four years to get it to me I do not deny the fact that I didn't receive a file but it was outdated and fingerprints needed to be redone it delayed all my trips that were planned as this should have only taken less than one year and I did not receive anything until 4 years later this is absolutely unacceptable it shows the how they care about their clients there was no way somebody should have to wait for years for something that should have only took one and then when I did receive it and went to submit it I was denied and had to redo the fingerprints and other things in the case that were totally expire such as my character references I stand firm in my conviction that they should refund all the money for the file *** I had to phone them repeatedly over 20 to 25 times to get any kind of action on my case and as mentioned for years is simply unacceptable I do not care for the fingerprint refund whatsoever that is nothing compared to the money they *** from me *** if I hadn't the phone 25 times I never ever would have received anything because every time I called nobody knew anything about my file

I was tying to make waver last December 2017 they told me within 3 to 6 months I will get my waver than they charge on my *** 76.84 and dec 8 charged 1278.03.but they didnt work in my case everytime wait .order number XXXXXXXXXXXXX.

Paid Provincial Pardons and Waiver Services 1400 dollars for a US Entry Waiver I-194.
This Waiver is needed for me to renew my L1B work visa. I had many delays and many many headaches getting this company to do what I paid 1400 dollars for.
Finally, I get my waiver and go to the border to apply for my visa and I am told by customs that this waiver will not work for a visa application. This waiver did not have L1B on it as required
I contact Provincial Pardon and Waiver services and raise this issue. There reply is that I accepted the waiver when it was sent to me so they have no responsibility in my visa being correct for a US visa. The sole reason I hired this company was for a waiver to use to renew my US work visa. 6 months and 1400 dollars and I have to restart this with another company.
Provincial Pardon and Waiver Sevices would not correct my waiver and said I would not get any refund. Disturbing that a business operates this way and has no *** or ownership to their failed product they sold to me.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Feb 15, 2019

He requested us to get him a Waiver to go along with his Work Visa and we told him a number of times that we do not do L1B visas and we completed his application in an expedited manner and he was not charged and expedited fee and nor was he ever told this his representative did that on his own accord. He also fails to mention he did not even fill out any paperwork for almost 2 months. This client received a 5-year waiver and the process start to finish was 6 months and that is unheard of. In closing, this client got what he paid for and he himself requested us to apply for the waiver and that is what we did.

I've had an awful experience working with this company!: (1) they have made multiple mistakes in helping me get a US waiver, (2) they take days or weeks to respond to my voicemails (if they respond at all!), (3) they have cost me thousands of dollars, (4) they provided me with a document which they said would definitely allow me a one-time visit to the US, only to be denied at the border and told by US Customs that there is no such document to allow you a one-time visit. So they have not been professional throughout. And after they finally provided me the forms I needed to submit to US Customs, I realized I could have prepared the forms easily myself. Here's another thing: I called a company called *** thinking that they were this company, and found out instead that this company has been deceptively using the almost-identical name Pardon Canada to fool people into thinking that they are a reputable firm!

The company called *** is a completely different company and the term *** and the term Canada cannot belong to anyone Our company was always Provincial Pardons and Waiver services pardoncanada.com was only our URL.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Mar 12, 2019

Also, she received her US Waiver Package on December 10th, 2018 and the Parole Board fo Canada got her package on December 5th, 2018. I have gone through the phone logs as well she was never ignored and her emails were always answered as well. Record Suspension applications and US waiver applications take time. She started her application on June 13, 2018, and her applications were sent on November 29th, 2018, the Pardon was delivered to the Parole board of Canada December 5th, 2018 tracking number RN XXX XXX XXX CA and she signed for the US waiver herself on December 10th, 2018, tracking number RN XXX XXX XXX CA saying that we made many mistakes and it took too long is completely false?? How do you start an application in June 2018 complete it in November 2018 both applications? The PBC states it can take up to 24 months to complete a Pardon and the Customs and Border Protection agency states it takes up to 12 months to complete a US waiver we completed both applications in just over 5 months. ***. On a side note, she said we told her she isn't a client of ours but we sent both her packages on to her and the other to the Parole Board of Canada?? that is a very odd statement. We have also tried to call this client to resolve this issue she does not answer her phone so this case is become impossible to resolve.

I CONTACTED PROVINCIAL PARDON IN DEC 2017, TO COMPLETE A US WAIVER APPLICATION FOR ***. AT THIS TIME WE HAD ALREADY DONE FINGER PRINTS AND HAD COURT DOCUMENT, I WAS ADVISED BECAUSE MOST OF THE WORK WAS DONE IT WOULD TAKE THREE MONTHS TO COMPLETE. IN JUNE I CONTACTED THEM TO CHECK STATUS THEY INFORMED ME I OWED HUNDRED DOLLARS STILL AND IT NEEDED TO BE PAID FOR PACKAGE TO BE SENT TO US. I PAID IT WITH CREDIT CARD. JULY THEY SAID THEY NEED ANOTHER COURT DOCUMENT I HAD TO PAY FOR IT AGAIN. THEY DON'T RETURN PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS AND WHEN THEY DO I GET TOLD IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER TWO WEEKS. LAST WEEK THEY SENT EMAIL TO VERIFY ADDRESS WHICH I CONFIRMED. I HAVE HAD TO CALL THREE TIMES AND FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF SOME ONE. TEHY WILL NOT RELEASE THE PAPER WORK. I ASKED FOR REFUND THEY HAVE SAID NO. I WOULD LIKE REFUND AS I AM FILING PAPER WORK ON MY OWN. *** IS GETTING FINGER PRINTS AND ANOTHER COPY OF COURT DOCUMENTS TODY WHICH I WILL PAY FOR AGAIN. I FEEL THEY DIDNT COMPLETE THE SERVICE AND I WANT REFUND. IT HAS BEEN 11 MONTHS AND I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING THEY HAVE ASKED. ***. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO EMAIL AND CALL SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK. EVERYTIME I CALL ITS A DIFFERENT REASON WHY ITS NOT COMPLETED. I HAVE ASKED FOR REFUND THEY REFUSE, I HAVE ASKED FOR PAPER WORK BACK EVEN NOT COMPLETED THAT I WOULD FINISH IT MYSELF, THEY HAVE NOT SENT IT. ***. REFUND.

Desired Outcome

I PAID THEM IN FULL IN JUNE, IT IS NOW NOVEMBER EVERY TIME I CALL THERE'S AN EXCUSE AS TO WHY ITS NOT COMPLETED. I JUST WANT REFUND AS NOW I AM PAYING FOR ANOTHER COURT DOCUMENT AND NEW FINGER PRINTS.

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Nov 21, 2018

Mr. file was completed and is now in the completion stage the court paperwork we received was not the correct paperwork and had to be requested again and no one refused to send her paperwork to them. We cannot control the court system in canada nor do we control the RCMP record suspensions take 12 to 24 months as listed in the parole board of Canada website we do not have the ability to speed up a service that is provided on a first come first serve basis there is no front of the line system in place with the government so for them to be at 11months and them complaining it doesnt make a lot of sense these applications take time. We will not provide a refund but we would be happy to work with them to complete to application process.

I hired this company to do my us waiver form they lost my file they never got back to me it took years until they finally sent me a file and when I went to provide that to the Border Protection Services they said that everything was outdated they never refunded my money they never returned my phone calls

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Aug 24, 2018

This client file was never lost the courts in Alberta were backdated by 6 to 10 months he can call them himself to hear it from them directly the only thing that was outdated was the fingerprints and he spoke to client care and they told him to get the fingerprints and they would reimburse that cost. We were unable to provide a refund as the file was completed and mailed to him in December 17. I would be happy to work something out in your Favor Mr. W.call me directly *** Ext *** I am truly sorry you feel the way you do and again I would like to make this right.

Customer Response • Sep 11, 2018

I never once called the courts or was inform the courts were behind whatsoever that is completely untrue every time I called I got to run around and directed to somebody else finally one lady was really nice and kind of got the ball started again but it was too late I had gone for fingerprints twice and paid for it now it's once again back to where I have to go again for fingerprints my case was not handled promptly was not handled fairly and I never got any kind of reimbursement for anything I sit right now without my waiver and I paid good money to have this completed I stand by my words because it is the truth when I received the new file completed and went to the airport I was told that the fingerprints were expired again so obviously I was not happy after waiting 4 years to have this completed

As most employers now require a criminal background check, I sent in my application to this agency along with all required documentation in Feb, 2016. to get a 'Pardon' I was told that the procedure would take 9 months- 1 year to complete.
After approx. 6 months, I contacted the agency to inquire as to the status of my application. I was put in contact with *** who was in charge of my application. I was told that the copy of my drivers license was too dark and had to be resubmitted. So I complied and resubmitted this.
Later, I was told that my finger prints had to be digitized. I explained that I had gone to the RCMP in Sackville, NB to have these done. A person from this agency assured me that this firm would have this done for me on their end at no extra cost to me.
I waited until it was almost to the end of the year period and contacted the agency again. I was told that they had no record of being paid for the services. So my fiancee got records of all the 6 months bank records that proved that they had been paid in full. They then acknowledge that they were paid.
I then waited again with no 'Pardon' being received. It was now June,2017. I talked again with *** who then requested another copy of my drivers license. I explained to her that it had already been submitted twice. I was lead to believe that it would be handled. Still no 'Pardon'.
I contacted the firm again in Dec, 2017 and asked what was taking so long. At that time I received a letter from *** that this agency was in the process of obtaining my suspension through the Parole Board.
I now have a new contact person, ***. She requested in Feb, 2018 another copy pf my drivers license. I submitted it and was told again it was too dark. Resubmitted it. Was told it was okay.
Today I was told that they are now only getting my fingerprints digitized. It has been well over 2 years. I have waited too long. Where is the 'Pardon' I paid for 2 years ago?

Desired Outcome

Finish the job Every time I contact this agency there seems to be another reason why I have not yet received a 'Pardon' that they said I would receive within a year. I feel like we are going in circles here. I have been assured by *** that this will now be expedited. Please assure that this is done! Then there are the countless job opportunities that I have not been able to apply to

Provincial Pardon & Waiver Services Response • Apr 13, 2018

I am familiar with Mr. case we have sent his fingerprints to be Digitized as the RCMP Does not use ink and roll anymore. I have personally made his case my priority and will get this file completed promptly he can call me directly anytime at *** Ext ***. There was a problem with the ID and the fingerprints but we did get that resolved and his file will be completed once his digitized fingerprints come in.

Customer Response • Apr 15, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The reason that I am not satisfied with this response is that I was assured over a year ago by an individual named *** from this business that my fingerprints were being sent then to be digitized. That again was over a year ago. Why was that issue not addressed properly at that time?Again, the circle of the never ending reasons why I have not received for one for over 2 years continues. The company received my payment in full for this service. Please expedite this. It should be your priority as I have not been able to apply to numerous jobs as most employers now want a criminal background check done before employment. Thank you!
