Vector Security will not comply with the SCRA and let Military members on Deployment orders cancel service!
Vector security is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with regarding "The Military Clause" and the Service member Civil Relief Act (SCRA). It is a stretch to say that his company has a "Military Clause" or even complies with anything close to the SCRA. Even with deployment orders in hand I was not able to cancel my service. I sent an email to the cancellation line and a Retention Specialist by the name of "***" contacted me days later and who refused to cancel my service. Her reasons were because I still own the home that was going to be unoccupied or rented out in the time I was going to be deployed. So even though nobody will be in the house or the tenants do not want that security service, on top of I will be out of the country on military deployment orders and I still can't cancel my service without paying for the remain contract time, cancelation fees and "equipment and cancelation fees". The equipment they provide is overpriced and outdated anyways. There are better providers of "door open alarms" than what this shoddy excuse of a company provides.
While doing some research this company also AUTOMATICALLY renews your contract if you do not send them written notice to cancel service. They do not accept telephonic or email forms of communication to not renew service. Literally, they ENTRAP you into another contract that you did not sign all under the guise of "maintaining your security service". This is done to enslave you to the ridiculous contract terms that force you stay and pay for the overpriced and crappy service they provide.
Additionally, if you look at the Revdex.com and Consumer affairs and other reviews the reviews are either 1 star like mine with valid complaints or "Anonymous 5 star" which you can tell are fake to only fluff up their crappy ratings.

These terms even not in the military are long and painful. This company's only purpose is to keep you paying the high monthly fee and prevent you from leaving!
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! I would tell other potential buyers to seek a different company with better practices and with people who actually care about the customer!
