They only care about themselves . The lie and never returns calls. they never do what they say.

Review: We signed on with ProVision as a result of attending a seminar through a course we were completing. At the seminar we had the opportunity to speak directly with the owner who promised that his tax company would be able to do so much more for us as far as helping us with an audit, to set us up with tax/wealth strategies, and to complete our 2012 taxes. They asked us at that time to tell our current CPA that we were going to switch to ProVision and at the same time we paid them $1000 to initiate our 2012 tax returns, $1500 down for the audit and another $9500 for Tax Strategies or ways to help us get the most from our Real Estate Investment businesses at tax time. We waited 4 months for their company to move forward with the audit. When they finally contacted the IRS representative for our case he requested a Power of Attorney which was filled out incorrectly in that they did not include the name of the person who the Power of Attorney was given to, but rather, the owner of ProVision. This caused the IRS representative to refuse the POA and not work with them until that was corrected. So, we gave them $1500 upfront and had nothing accomplished for our audit. At the same time they wanted to apply for an extension on our 2012 taxes due to wanting to get our bookkeeping in order, however, they "mistakenly" instructed us to write checks for a considerable amount to both New York State and the IRS for the upfront estimated payment after having had the estimated prepayment automatically withdrawn from our account from both New York State and the IRS. As a result of their mistake we, of course had double the amount taken from our account causing money to be drained from our savings to pay any other bills, etc. In that situation we never got an apology from the Senior Tax Staff employee who made the mistake. The company owner did later apologize, but my request to not work with the Senior Tax Staff was ignored and he continued to be assigned to our case. As a result of his lack of integrity or concern for our financial situation that he got us into we were, needless to say, upset with any further contact by him. All of the sudden we had no communication with the company, our calls not being returned, etc. until my husband finally received a call from the owner stating that they did not want to do business with us any longer due to my husband's rude comments (he typed the word "dam(n)" in an email to the Senior Tax Staff). As a result of several other phone communications it was decided that ProVison would recommend we work with another company that they often do business with. We agreed with that and had one phone meeting with the representative from that company who then never got back to us and were not taking any calls from us. We were unsure of why that was happening as we had a very professional, informative call with them. They were to contact ProVision to see where they left off with us and get back to us to continue. I finally emailed the owner of ProVision to find out where we stand and to enquire about the sudden lack of communication from the new company. What we found out was that the new company contacted the people we were working with at ProVison and from then decided they were not going to work with us. My "take" on that is ProVison must have spoken poorly of us (slanderous perhaps) as clients which slanted their perception of us in a negative way. Once again, I stress that the word "damn" was the only crude word used in any dealing with ProVision.Desired Settlement: What we would like at this point is to be reimbursed for at least the $1500 that we paid for the audit for which nothing was accomplished. We have since been working with the local CPA with whom we started who has been in contact with the IRS representative in just two weeks and has made progress with the audit. We also want it to be known that the seminar we attended seemed to be nothing but empty promises, the loss of an incredible amount of money (some has been reimbursed from the wealth strategy program), and employees with a lack of integrity.
