I sent my PS4 for an HDMI port repair in May of 2020. After not hearing anything back for weeks I emailed them asking for an update in which they said they would have done and mailed by that Monday. It never happened. Since then I've emailed several times from multiple sources and they do not respond if include information from previous emails. But the one email I sent incognito asking if they do HDMI port repairs I got a reply fairly quickly. It is now July, almost August of 2020 and I haven't heard anything since. I doubt it will see my PlayStation ever again.

Reballing Genius (also known as PS3 Specialist, https://***.com/) sells computer and video game console repair services and sales on their website, and I sent my PS3 to be repaired by them 3 weeks ago. I have since read many negative reviews of Reballing Genius stating that they have stolen the property that people have sent them to repair, so I now suspect that they have decided to keep my PS3 that I sent them for solder reballing. I have contacted them several times by email and through their online web form with no response, and their phone number is disconnected. I have requested a refund from Paypal for the service I paid for. I'm sure the shipping cost I paid is a loss. On Tuesday the 14th I sent Reballing Genius a message saying that if I didn’t receive my PS3 back the 17th, I plan to contact the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (who say that their electronic repair license is expired), the Revdex.com, the *** Police, and the *** of *** about this racket.

I sent an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer to Reballing Genius LLC in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on Feb 29th to be repaired. I have proof of the delivery and copies of emails from the store representative (***) acknowledging receipt of the laptop. The last email from him was from March 16th stating that he should have "good news" about the repair. I have never heard anything further from him despite numerous emails asking about the repair status. I paid for the repair in full. I also paid for the shipping. I filed a complaint with PayPal. They contacted the store about my complaint but never received a reply. PayPal refunded the repair charge. I have not been refunded for the shipping charge. The most important problem however, is that Reballing Genius LLC still has the laptop and I want that back. I have emailed and demanded to have the laptop returned to me but they have never replied.

I sent my PS3 almost 2 months ago and have not received any response since then. I have reached out more than once over the course of the past few weeks.

Company sells services targeting laptop and game console repairs. Once the service is purchased and hardware is mailed to his residence, communication is cut off for those of us who are not located near his business.

An expensive MacPro along with a $254.98 repair service fee are unanswered for since December 4th of 2019. Numerous emails have been sent for status, and a non-working number on his website does not help. He did reply once on Jan 7th last month with reason
for delay being a supply of solder that was delayed for him and that we would get our laptops by the end of that week. That was over a month ago.

I am not the only one, there are others and will let them know to file a complaint as well so that you may have additional
consumers with similar experiences.

Also found that he operates out of the Pomona Indoor Swap meet location as well where a different phone number was listed

I called and left him a voice message regarding this whole issue -- he still has not replied. The concern is that we may be getting ripped off, possibly by stringing us along with different excuses long enough that we give up on ever getting our hardware back. And now that I found he has a location in a swap meet it seems to add up.

MY EXPERIENCE STARTED OFF WELL. EMAILS WERE ANSWERED EACH AND EVERY TIME UNTIL THE MONEY WAS SPENT. I REQUESTED TO SIGN FOR MY PACKAGE TO PROVE KHALED RECEIVED IT AS I BOUGHT SHIPPING INSURANCE. THEY MISSED THE PACKAGE ARRIVAL SO IT SAT AT POST OFFICE FOR 8 DAYS. WHEN I STARTED PROCEEDINGS TO GET MY MONEY BACK THEY PICKED UP THE PACKAGE AND WITHIN 3 HOURS PS3 SENT PICTURES OF THE REPAIR. THEY SAID THE PACKAGE WILL BE RETURNED THE NEXT DAY. IT TOOK FOUR DAYS FOR PACKAGE TO REACH THEM SO I WAITED FOUR DAYS BEFORE I EMAILED HIM BACK. THERE IS NO REPLY TO MANY EMAILS ABOUT MY MOTHERBOARD. THE PHONE NUMBER ON THERE SITE IS FAKE AND YOU ONLY GET BUSY SIGNALS. I'VE CALLED DURING AND AFTER BUSINESS HOURS. I CHECKED REVIEWS ALL OVER THE WEB AND THE ONLY GOOD ONES ARE ON HIS SITE. PLAN AND SIMPLE THIS COMPANY IS FAKE AND TAKE MOST PEOPLES PRODUCT, FIXES IT AND SELLS IT. NOW IF BY SOME MIRACLE I GET MY PRODUCT BACK I WILL RECANT THIS MAIL AND GIVE AN APOLOGY TO EVERYONE. BUT READING REVIEWS IT AIN'T HAPPENING. AS OF NOW, DON'T SPEND ONCE CENT AT PS3 SPECIALIST.

A motherboard and CPU was fedexed to their business after purchasing their repair service followed by instructions on how and where to send the package, on 11th of January. It has been 2 weeks since then and have not received the product or any status in regards to the repair. I have sent messages through their online chat service and emails but failed to reach anyone nor get any return responses.

I paid for repair on my ps3 on July 15 2019. Sent it to this company as per instructions on July 16 2018. August 2019
I started asking how my repair was going. He said they were getting to it. In September I asked again He said they were behind but would get to it soon. I asked again in October. This time he said the Graphics chip was bad And for me to be patient they were working on it. Each one of these communications took MULTIPLE messages from me to finally get a response. Now it is January 2020. I have been trying to find out the status of my ps3 since December. NO CONTACT. Basically he has my PS3 and my money. THEFT!!

Before Thanksgiving I purchased an order for this "company" to repair my MacBook Pro's GPU. The Mac worked great using integrated graphics, but I wanted it to be 100% for my own sake. The tracking number shows my laptop was delivered the Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. The listing stated the laptop would be fixed and returned in 3-5 business days. It has now been over a month. He has offered little to no contact other than one week saying the laptop should be taken care of by the end of the week and another week stating "it's the holidays and I'm running behind."
If you're going to be running behind during the holidays then don't make your post say 3-5 business days and then take over a month.
Ebay has refunded my purchase price, but he still has my MacBook and at this point I don't care if it's fixed or not I just want my laptop back or I want him to pay the price for a 15" MacBook Pro i7, 16gb RAM and an upgraded Samsung SSD. I'm losing out on work because of this!

I used his service to repair my Mac laptop. I paid him over $400 to reball the VGA chip on my laptop. He did it the first time and it worked for 2 weeks then failed, I sent it back to him (shipping was paid by me to him and return) and he promised it would be fixed. He sent it back after having it a month and the laptop worked for only a couple days. He said send it back and he promised it would be fixed correctly. So I did send it ($45 shipping paid by me) and he no longer returns any correspondence. So he was paid twice to fix the laptop and I incurred shipping costs 3 times to him and 2 times return shipping to me. So he has my $2000 laptop with IRS data on it that I need, will not respond. I have paid him over $400 for the repairs and about $230 in shipping. And I have no laptop, no data and paid him. What a sg he is!

I paid $90 to have my console HDMI port replaced, my console was delivered and a week went by without any contact from the company. I then found out that the PH# on their website was fake and "always busy," and they we’re not responding to any of my emails. I was eventually able to find their real phone number and speak with someone there that was obviously surprised that I had that number. After I spoke to them they responded to a couple emails with updates. Then the service I requested was completed, with an additional $40 charge for further issues found. I felt that if this was not paid then I would not get my gaming console back. As I have seen in some reviews around the web.
I have it now about a month after I sent it and it is working so they did do the work but I would not do business with them ever again as the stress of not knowing if I would get my console back was too much.
I strongly advise finding someone else to do business with.
Btw, the company has 2 names 2 addresses and at least 2 phone numbers.

I won’t post the PH#s as they will likely have already changed since I found it.

I placed an order for a repair service on my laptop for $180. The company website has directions on what to do after payment, so I followed them and waited for 3weeks after delivery to follow up. I have not received any correspondence from the company and now they have my laptop with a lot of valuable information, to me, and I did not back it up before shipment as it was locked up.

Once, I sent the laptop for CPU socket repair (CPU was replaceable as it was Clevo barebone), which costs about 200 bucks, and I was having a hard time at university doing my work as he did not care about the urgency of the customer. He only sent the shipping by the Fedex ground, even I told him that I don't care about the safety of the package but just send it quickly by using USPS airmail. Yeah, my laptop was fixed finally, after about freakin 3 weeks. Also, don't be surprised, he broke the touchpad of the laptop and the wire connector of the wifi card. I was quite mad and tried to leave a review with a low star at his homepage, and I wasn't able to submit the review. Also, he was angry at me making attempt to submit the review even it was his fault. He refused to fix that, and we were done. Please, if someone sees this, do not trust the high star review about their repair at online, as they can manipulate the reviews.

Never fixed my ps3 deleted my comments on his facebook page I DO NOT RECCOMMEND. Im getting my money for the repair back but he is not sending back my console this guy is a scam no way around it.

I had issues with my T-CON board from my Samsung 30" monitor. Green & white lines all over the screen. I contacted Khaled via email as his website said he can reball the Altera chip on the PCB to resolve this problem. Things looked good and he told me he had fixed quite a lot of these boards. So, I paid for the service thru Paypal and sent him the board from my office here in Australia. I emailed him 12 days later to make sure he received the board. He did and will fix it that week. All good...so far.
2 weeks later my board arrives back to me, I reinstall it in my monitor and the problem was fixed, no green & white lines. 3 months later my monitor begins flickering and the green & white lines start appearing again. Oh no! So I emailed Khaled and explained the lines were back and sent him a picture of this. He responded by asking me to send the board back to him and he will have another go at it as he offers a 12 month warranty on his work. So I do this - at my expense of postage from Australia again.
About 10-12 days later I email him and check he has received my board. He writes back that he has it & he has a large group of these boards to do and will do them as a batch on the weekend. Im thinking great service here.. well what followed changed everything.
So, a month goes by and no sign of my T-CON board. I email Khaled and get no reply, I email his other 2 email addresses & website contact - no reply. I sent numerous emails over the next 2 months asking for an update. No reply. Suddenly to my sheer shock & horror my T-CON board appears on his website as an item for sale for $250! & yes it is mine as the serial number on the board matches mine. Im thinking wow the nerve of this guy. So off & on over the next 4 months I try to get in contact via email and phoning. No contact whatsoever. About 6 months later I decided out of the blue to try call him. He answers! I explain who I am and the situation. He tells me that 'yes I remember, your board is here somewhere in a box, it probably got misplaced when we moved, I will look for it on the weekend & give you a call or email'. I told him you don't have to look far as it is listed on your website - to which he deigned. Another 5 months later im still waiting for that call or email. I ended up buying a (new-old-stock) T-CON board on ebay & not had any problems at all with it.
Bottom line - He (could) provide a temporary fix for you failed device, but the fix will be just enough to get you by to backup your info or settings. Do not expect the item to be fixed permanently. Terrible way to run a business, seems he has got his scam perfected as he suckers more vulnerable people in. USE THIS THIEF AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Khaled I of PS3Specialist is not a reputable provider of services. I used his services twice. The first time I purchased a refurbished Playstation 3. I plugged it in, it worked and I was satisfied. More to come on this though. I decided to have the PS3 I had since launch fixed. When it was returned to me a piece of the plastic had been chipped off the corner. The piece was not in the box, so it must have occurred beforehand. I had wrapped the PS3 in thick bubble tape going to his place and the item was amply wrapped coming back. I sell vintage stereos and I understand how to wrap securely. I wrote to Khaled and he said it came to him like that. I was skeptical about this, but accepted it and moved on. The purchased PS3 mentioned before worked less than a month. Khaled has a 1 year warranty supposedly. I wrote to him, he asked me to return it. I paid shipping for the return from and back to my home. I did not and have not to this day heard back from him. 3-4 emails and no response. Messages also left on his site and no response. He received it in early January and it is April now. I filed a complaint with my credit card and received my letter stating the case closed in my favor. If you use his services, do not expect him to honor his warranty. Do not expect him to be honest and do not expect him to take care of your item when in his possession. He is not a specialist by any means. He is a con-artist. Also, if using either his ebay or personal site, make sure you use PayPal and/or a credit card so you have 2 options to get reimbursed. Ultimately I am whole again because he did not answer the my credit card company. I provided my Credit Card company with emails and the shipping showing it returned. He never responded to them and I received my money back. The bottom line is, make sure you keep all records for the claim and seek someone else out for your mainboard/console repair.
Revdex.com, I can provide all emails to back up my review. This guy is bad news.

So I read all the reviews online like Yelp, Google, and here on Revdex.com and got me very scared of the negative reviews, but I took the chance anyway because my PS3 is useless to me in its current state. My PS3 got the dreaded YLOD on Jan. 14, 2018 and I emailed Khaled the very same day too. He responded really fast and told me what he'll do. So I bought his reballing service and mailed my PS3 on the 15th. After that he didn't respond to my emails at all. After 2 weeks+, he finally responded back to me and told me he was packed with orders and was sick for almost 3 weeks. It's understandable since he did sold a lot of orders on eBay and a bit slow since he's only one man working on all those repairs. After he emailed me he was able to repair my PS3, but it also had a broken PSU so he replaced that and I paid for the part and he shipped it back to me in within 2 days on Feb 13 along with the broken PSU. Other than one small scratch on the case, I was happy to see my PS3 alive and kicking again. I just wish he would work on his communication a little bit more. I doubt he's a scammer since there's no point in stealing old and broken electronics. I'm guessing the people that is complaining that isn't getting their systems back is because they think they shouldn't pay for the replacement parts used other than the original price. Just pay if there's any replacement parts used since it is stated on his website.

My experience started off promising for reballing my PS3. Khaled seemed very tentative and professional at the onset, but that changed as soon as I tried to contact him about receiving my PS3 damaged by FedEx (partly due to his poor packing). He refused to answer a week of emails and phone calls. However, as soon as I made it explicitly clear that it was damaged by FedEx and not by him, I got an immediate callback. He advised that it would be better to return the unit to him rather than file a claim and he would repair the new damage for free (the fan was now loud and the HDMI port was no longer functioning). I think from start to finish, my PS3 was gone for a month. I eventually got the unit back with the fan quiet, but the HDMI still not working. He quickly blamed my TV even though it was working before he "fixed it." I tried several other TVs with no luck, so switched to composite. I made several more attempts at resolving this matter, but he again refused to acknowledge me. I then requested a refund because his website states that his work is "guaranteed" - again, no response. Khaled does not stand behind his work and the real kicker is that he will delete any bad review you try to submit to his site ...which looks like it was published using Windows95. A year later the PS3 had died again - Khaled's "professional reballing" was no better than what I had read about owners using a hair dryer to repair the issue.
