PSP Diesel, LLC

I am a first time diesel owner, so finding a good mechanic is a must. A friend recommended PSP to me and it has been the best experience ever. Hands down PSP is the best group of guys to work with. The owner, Art, has bent over backwards for me on some repairs to my truck. I can't fathom that kind of help from a mechanic. Not only is he HONEST, which is hard to come by these days, he will call you every step of the way as repairs are done and even call you days later to check up on you and your truck. Just to make sure you are happy and the truck is running good. Art is like an old school physician, he cares. Minus the house calls of course. LOL
It's very hard to put into words how happy I am, that PSP is my diesel mechanic. But I can tell you that I drive from North woodlands to Hobby Airport area for PSP Diesel.

You go in for a repair, and then a few weeks later have to return for another repair in the same area with all new labor fees?
Addressing one problem leads to addressing many, but your vehicle still never seems to be running right?

THAT’S WHERE I HAD BEEN….. BUT THEN CAME PSP

When I first came across PSP I was calling around and asking what I THOUGHT were the right questions. Didn’t matter how many times I called, I still received thorough and patient answers. I was comparing things like labor rates, the time being taken to explain things to me and just a general overall – who seems like they care? Art, Steven and Richard were AMAZING.
I VERY recently purchased a used diesel that ended up having more problems than expected and after having been jerked around at the previous shop I was using…. I was at the end of my rope. But, the day I took my vehicle to PSP I instantly felt better. It wasn’t just one thing, I think it was a combination of things, but here are a few things that give you the idea of the type of customer service that just comes standard with these guys….

HOW PSP SAVED ME $75 AND THEN ANOTHER $800 ON MY FIRST VISIT

My truck was purchased with a pretty intense oil leak. The guy at the previous mechanic shop had been asking me to take it to his friend and pay close to $75 to have the engine detailed to make it easier to identify the oil leak. When I told Art this??? He smiled knowingly and took two dollars out of the register and said, “Let’s go, hop in your truck”. Art, one of the owners of this shop took time away from his day to drive with me down to a quarter car wash and show me how to clean off my engine MYSELF! At the grand cost of $2 he chipped in himself. If that doesn’t CLEARLY show their interests in helping and serving rather than gouging, I don’t know what does!
Turns out, my oil leak isn’t the $1200 repair the other guy said I needed…. It’s a $400 repair. Imagine my relief! Those guys at PSP are lucky I didn’t girl out and tear up and start bawling as I was thanking them!

After my first repair, to no fault of PSP (instead a new problem that reared its ugly head) I ended up stranded out in Nowheresville, TX. Like, it was me and two cows. I messaged the guys and they not only answered questions to help me get back on the road and get to where I could bring my truck into the shop, THEY ALSO MESSAGED LATER JUST TO MAKE SURE I MADE IT HOME OK!!!! I was beside myself, that’s what friends do! Not mechanics who are just looking to make a buck off you. They really, truly care that not just your truck, but that YOU are ok!

PSP JUST SAVED ME EVEN MORE ON REPAIRS

My most recent repair???? It came in almost $200 under what they originally quoted me. Yeah, I said UNDER! And my truck is running like a boss now! It still needs some work here and there to get it back to the shape it should be in, but the guys have helped me form a plan of what to have fixed when to keep the labor rates way down and to maximize my repairs.

I really, really, really can’t say enough about this shop! It’s not about the bottom line cost of the repair you need right then….. I wish I had known that when I was originally comparing mechanics! It’s about the ones who do business the right way, make you feel valuable and then on top of it all save you money by doing the repairs the right way, and the most thorough way! I am such a fan of these guys and I hope you will be too!
