This company is charging for a test that was not needed/required
I am a former patient with ***, I started with them in November of 2016 and January 23 of this year during my medical visit and psy eval, I was told the company was closing. I received a bill in the mail from PSY-MED INC. stating that my insurance company *** paid for the visit, but wouldn't pay for the doctor's testing, because testing is not was required, only a medical evaluation. Not only did true results promised that they would conduct only treatments that are required to have the bariatric surgery and failed, but I'm finding out that the in-office psy did the wrong treatment and is charging me $800 for something that is not required for my surgery. I have google and searched for Dr. Rosslyn F and it seems as if she doesn't exist. I've contacted PSy-Med and no response.
I would like Psy Med to take responsibility for they're error, especially since BCBS contacted them and let them know an evaluation was need and not a test. Psy med was contracted to work with True Results, it is they're responsibility to only provide with the treatments needed only to have tje surgery.
