I have been in contact with Mr***I take complaints very seriouslyAnd while I do not believe we were negligent, I want to make sure Mr*** is satisfied with the outcomeI've spent hours on the phone with various Company
reps who have in turn spent hours on the phone with the Secretary of State's office
I was able to obtain a letter from *** *** verifying coverage from 2/25/to 6/6/(see attached)
I explained to the client that his online purchase was submitted with DL # VXXX-XXXX-XXXX
It should have been uploaded with DL # VXXX-XXXX-XXXX-X
I explained to the client that unfortunately there is no way for us as an agency to know thisI wish the State's system could merge or amend the DL #s automatically, but they do not
I was able to get the State to backdate Mr***'s SRfiling and honor his original submission with the correct # in place (VXXX-XXXX-XXXX-X)Mr*** now has 5+ months of his filing period taken care of
Also, coverage was in force on his May arrest date (as stated on letter from *** *** so that ticket should be dropped
I told Mr*** that I am sorry that this process did not go as smoothly as he had hoped and that duplicate #s are very rareI don't recall seeing one in my 20+ years in the industry
I called the client and let him know that we will be mailing him a check for $

On February 24, at 9:am, the client purchased a policy with *** *** Insurance Covia our agency websitePrior to purchasing, 'yes or no' questions were asked including "In the last years, has the applicant or any operator listed above been charged with a moving violation"The client provided an incorrect Drivers Licence #The proper SRfiling license # would have been provided on a letter from the secretary of state's officeWe submitted the SRfiling to the Secretary of State with the Drivers License # providedWe received an endorsement from *** *** that the SRfiling had been returnedFilings are often rejected by the state if the client does not require oneA copy of this endorsement was mailed to the clientThe client was cancelled on 5/8/for not paying his 4/25/monthly installmentThe policy was reinstated on 5/10/after payment was receivedThe 5/25/installment was never received and the policy cancelled again on 6/6/On 7/7/The client called asking for another copy of his Declaration pageThe agent he spoke with informed him that he was cancelled for non payment and he stated that he was aware of this but due to the mix up with his SRfiling he would leave cancelled
The client let us know that the Secretary of State told him that he shares the same name and birth date as another resident of IllinoisBecause of this, he was assigned an alternate Illinois License #This was the first time we had been made aware of this issueAn agent made several attempts to contact the insured but the calls were not returned
On 8/27/Client asked for another copy of the policy Declaration Page explaining it was for a court appearanceOn 8/29/the pages were faxed and insured requested another price quoteAs the agent was providing the quote details to Mr*** he either hung up or the call droppedSeveral attempts were made to contact the clientThe calls were not returned
I hope the client is satisfied with the efforts we have made to rectify this situation as best as possibleI would be more than happy to service his account personally

I have been with Public Insurance for many years nowThe customer service is outstanding! It's nice to be able to pick up a phone and actually talk to an agentI have sent emails all times of day and get a response right awayI had to process claims for a stolen vehicle and the process was easy and the claim was processed quickly

After many years of feeling taken for granted by other insurance agencies I gave my business to Public Insurance Agency. They have always been very helpful and demonstrated that they appreciate my business. They spend time with me to make sure I have the correct coverage but not any unnecessary coverage. I have recommended other friends and family to them and they all are happy with Public for the same reasons. If you are at all unhappy with your insurance I highly recommend giving Public a call.

I have used ** Public Insurance for both Home and Auto. The agent I have ([redacted]) did a great job quickly and accurately getting me rates and presenting my options. Also he ensured I received appropriate discounts. He has even checked with me multiple times to ensure certain information is correct to see if he can get me even better rates. The level of service has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them.
