Review: I purchased a Jeep on March 23, 2015 and was told that it was a four-wheel drive vehicle. I made sure to ask multiple times about the drivetrain because I live in an area with heavy snow and need a four-wheel drive vehicle. Also, on my promissory note/ due service bill I was promised three things, none of which I received. My biggest concern was that I was promised four new and matching tires, yet when I went to pick up my purchase I was given four unmatched bald tires. After many hours of the manager trying to convince me that the tires were fine, they finally fixed my tires to be what we had originally agreed upon in writing before the purchase was even finalized. Upon further inspection after arriving home with the vehicle, I discovered that the tires that I was given were the wrong size, they were missing lug nuts, and it was only a two-wheel drive vehicle. I ended up trading the vehicle in on September 2nd, 2015 and began the cancellation process for the warrantee that I had purchased through Public Motors. I have a paper trail starting in September, and I can also compile a call/email log for the amount of times I attempted to contact Public Motors about my refund. It is now January and I still have not received any money. It took the dealership so long to send a refund check to Wells Fargo, where my car loan was through, that my account no longer existed with the bank because the loan had been closed for so long. Wells Fargo immediately sent the check back to Public Motors on November 19, 2015 because there was no longer any account in my name at that bank. Since then, I have attempted to contact Public Motors multiple times to have them send the check directly to me, and they have been extremely unprofessional and have not responded in any way since November 9, 2015.Desired Settlement: I would like to be paid what I am owed by the company. The check they should be sending equals $1649.00. It is not my fault that it took Public Motors so long to send the check to Wells Fargo that Wells Fargo had already closed my account for being inactive. I still expect to receive that money.
