PSO's policy is to bill a deposit to secure accounts that become a credit risk if there are more than two late payments on an account when the account does not have a depositThe account is currently in a billed deposit status due to several payments being received after the due date.This has
resulted in the account having seventeen late pays within a twenty-four month time frame.On the 291h of Decemeber PSO provided two statements for the account holderOne wasa paperstatement and there was also a second statement sendin electronic formatto the account holdersemail address whichwas confirmedEachof these statements provided theaccount holdera deposit warningmessageThe messageinformed thecustomer if any futurelate payments may result in a depositequal to an average of two monthsbilling could be billed to the account.PSO does have a new program available for customers called
PowerPayThis Is a pre pay option for customersThis is ap ogram that would benefitcustomers who needto make payments o specific daysbased on theirpay scheduleAll a customer has to dois maintain a positive balanceon the account( at least cent.) Acustomer can avoida required depositif they enrollin the Power Pay programPowerpay also hasthe benefit of the customer receiving alerts from PSO when the account balanceis reaching a preferred threshold the customer determinesAlerts are ableto be sent via a mobile device as well as email.Customers with an existing balance are also eligible for this program20% of each payment willgo towards payingoff a carry of balance and 80% willbe applied to a customers upcomingelectricity usage.I have since contactthe customer and advisedthem ofthe options for PowerPayThe customer Is currently reviewing the information and advisedme they would contact me to let meknow their Intentions
