Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I will state that the company says that *** called me back and he never did I never got an e-mail message from them stating they were going to void my check There was no communication as far as that is concernedAlso, I offered to email a copy of what the other company did as far as fixing ***s mistakes along with pictures of what was inside my furnace*** stated on the original phone call I had with him that there was no need for that The only communication I have had with this company has been through the Revdex.comIf I would have received any communication with this company I would have never went through the Revdex.com
Regards,
*** ***

"We do not dispute that *** was at the residence for a maintenance check on the furnace and replaced a few of the drain hosesWe also do not dispute that
the customer called us at 8:26 in the morning on Saturday September 13thHowever, what is not stated in the complaint is that there was no message left for usThis was stated to us by the complainant(As a small company we do not use a costly answering service but have the business line always transferred to one of our cell phones) Unfortunately we were not able to answer the call when it came in but would have returned the call as soon as possible if there was a message leftI received an e-mail from the customer on 9/15/indicating that he had a problem with the service*** called and talked to him about it*** proceeded to then call me and we discussed what to doWe decided to void his invoice and I promptly destroyed his check*** then proceeded to call the customer back and inform him of the decisionWe thought the matter was closedOn 9/24/I then received another e-mail from the customer stating that he hadn't heard back from usI immediately responded back via e-mail and apologized if there was any miscommunication and apologized for what had happenedI informed him of our decision to void his check but informed him that because he didn't give us an opportunity to come back and fix it by not leaving a message that we would not pay for the other company billI would also note that we were never offered anything to show what the other company actually did and since "flapper" is not a technical part used in a furnace we still aren't sure what was done by his descriptionIf the customer would have left a message for us we would have gladly come out and fixed it free of chargeBut since he chose not to and decided to call another company (which he knew was going to charge him an after hours charge) we feel that our voiding of the payment to us is adequate and consider this matter closed."
