Dear *** ***,We show an order was placed on April **, 2012. You responded to one of our sweepstakes and we placed a call to you at ###-###-####, which is your phone. We entered you into our sweepstakes. As part of the promotion you agreed to our magazine service for months
where you could switch and change a title to a similar or like title throughout the service. You agreed to our $per week promotion billed at $per month for months, no payments the remaining months. You provided your *** ending in *** for the monthly payments and guaranteed the account with your Date of Birth ***, Ohio Driver’s License #*** to verify your identity. We allow days to cancel the agreement before we prepay for the magazines however, we do not show any record of cancellation. Additionally, the titles were delivered to your address. We have no record of you calling and inquiring why the titles were being delivered. We assume you would have called if you did not place an order and began receiving products. Additionally, we don’t see how someone committing identity theft against you would order products to your home and not another location. Please relay how would the identity thief would have your phone we contacted you at where the order was placed. Please provide proof of identity theft to the collection agency. Sincerely, Customer Support

We have replied with every request in accordance with State and Federal law showing the burden of proof Once again, please contact the collection agency should you require any additional assistance Sincerely, Customer Support

Dear *** ***, You have previously tried disputing this account with the collection agency They validated the account to you immediately You also openly admitted to the collection agency that you received the magazines on a recorded line When you and your wife went to the
police station today, you told the police officer you never received the magazines as relayed by the collection agency We have provided plenty of information beyond a shadow of a doubt including the personal information provided for the order, credit card information provided, and delivery receipts yet you continue to lie to government agencies Due to the constant verbal threats, obscene remarks, and criminal behavior on your part, we have retained an attorney to proceed further Our lawyer will decide on the next decision we take and will reach out to you when we have researched the legality of making a police report

Dear *** ***,I show an order was placed on 12/*/with our office for our pay during service promotionI am not showing any record of cancellation on file within the day cancellation period. Generally, we only accept cancellations in writing and a cancellation form is provided by mail
with the initial order welcome packetSometimes, Supervisors are able to make exceptionsCan you please provide me with whom you spoke and when? This will allow us to assist you further as I don't show any record of cancellationThank you.Deborah L**,Customer Service

Dear [redacted], The account was validated in accordance with the law per the collection agency.  We attempted to reach you multiple times to no avail regarding the past due balance.  This is why the account was sent to a collection agency.  The collection agency has agreed to...

remove the account if the balance is resolved.

Dear [redacted],The number you provided of ###-###-#### belongs to a Millennium Marketing/Budget Readers, which is not affiliated with us. Additionally, Subco is a clearing house and not a sales company so they would not be able to accept payment on our behalf. The original cancellation cost...

outside of the 30 day cancellation window was $350. This is to recoup any costs as the magazines are prepaid in advance after 30 days to the publisher of the titles. It sounds like you may have had a different order with a different supplier or they may have misrepresented themselves to be our company. The balance is currently owed and we show no record of $250 being paid on this account.

Better Businsiness Bureau,  I did not apply for magazines. If I applied for anything ( which I have in the Past) it was not for magazines. there had to of been small print or another link that I somehow hit. and because I was ordering something else I must of been accepting magazines as well. as I said before I got tired of dealing with these people and on our phone calls that were recorded (they said this) I finally agreed to them taking the money at a lower cost and time frame because I did not know what else to do to prove that magazines are not what I ordered!! Money was being taken from my account and then it stopped. I assumed it was paid for. I was NEVER notified by mail or phone that there was a problem.   Thanks [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I do not know how that company got my phone number. the drivers license number is missing one character, but the main thing is that I do NOT have a [redacted] card with the last 4 numbers of [redacted]  I have never received any magazines so therefore they do not have my address.  I believe that one of my accounts with my phone number and social security number and birthdate was hacked and that is how they got that information.  Since the credit card doesn't end with the numbers of any credit card I have I assume that someone has used a card that wasn't mine.  Believe me if I had ordered any magazines - which I wouldn't have done - I would have remembered an order that big and once again I have to reiterate that I have never received any magazines EVER!!!  I do not know how they got my information but it wasn't from calling me.    What do I do now?  In my opinion I do not owe this money cause I never ordered these magazines.  It sounds like a scam to me - and that someone has hacked into my records.  I did have to get some accounts changed around the time they are saying the order was placed.  I need to know what to do now.  Do I need to get a new social security number, a new drivers license and anything else that needs to be replaced to prevent my information from being used in frauds like this.  Please let me know what to do from here.[redacted]

Dear [redacted] We attempt to contact delinquent account via telephone.  If we are unable to reach you or come to an understanding we transfer the account to a collection agency.  The reason we are not able to go in-depth regarding the account is due to our contract with the collection agency.  We apologize you disagree with the documentation the collection agency sent to you however, they did send you validation in response to your dispute in accordance with the law.  If there is a specific piece of information in the validation you are disputing, please inform us so we may audit the account the account.   Sincerely, Customer Support

Dear [redacted] The account sent to the collection agency was not a renewal but a new order in our sweepstakes.  Additionally, you still currently receive the subscriptions to your address.  You disputed the debt with the collection agency and they provided you with all the relevant...

proof and information on the account.  We can not simply remove a past due bill with their office.  You will need to contact the collection agency for any further assistance.  Thank you. Sincerely, Customer Support.
