in response concerning a complaint case # *** *** ***Ms*** came to Puhlmann Lumber & Design looking for someone to replace her trim and a small amount of siding by her doorOne of Puhlmann Lumber's sales and estimating employees went to her house to take a look at the jobOur Employee told Ms*** that he would contact a carpenter for her to speak with her and give her an estimate on labor and materialThe material cost was approximately $Puhlmann Lumber does not do anything with labor, contractor, or carpenter work through the companyWe sell retail business supplies only
After receiving a letter from Revdex.com Dec10th, we contacted the carpenter explaining the letterThe carpenter told us that he had forgotten to stop by Ms***'s and that he would do soHe stopped by that day and nobody was homeMs*** is not listed in the phone book so we were unable to make any contact with her
After receiving the second letter dated Dec22nd from Revdex.com I called Mr*** *** explaining to him what had happenedOn Dec28th, the carpenter stopped by againNo one was home so he left a note on Ms***'s door along with his phone number
Puhlmann Lumber & Design feels that they are not at fault concerning this issueWe will do our best to get this resolved

Regarding the response you received from Puhlmann lumberI called (not went into P.L& D.) and someone came out to the home it was not an in store request as stated in their responseThe employee Andy *** of Puhlmann came to the home stated he would do the work himself with a quote for materials, at the time there was never an outside contractor mentioned so it was assumed that Puhlmann or an associate of, would be doing the workAndy *** was contacted twice, once at the business unsuccessfully and his home last conversation apx11/2/and with undeniable proof he still intended to do the work himselfOnce the Revdex.com was contacted a postit note was put on my front door sometime in early December from someone stating he was able to fix the garage & a contact # for himFeeling they are not at fault it is an unfair statement, as I can prove without doubt that Andy Gstated he would do the work himself at the time he came and until 11/2/I was left to believe that the work was going to be done by an employee of Puhlmann as I did not know the capacity in which that work was to be done, sending a 3rd party in Decwell past the time the work could have been done it unacceptable, and unprofessionalWe have had business with them some what recently were a working number has been provide so it should be in their account information and not public phone book
