Pulera Collison Center does terrible work. Moreover, they believe that this should be an accepted practice by their customers.
Our Jeep Patriot was side swiped in a parking lot and required some minor body work and paint on the rear left door and quarter panel. The responsible party's insurance suggested we use Pulera to do the repairs and never requiring this type of work in the past we assumed, regrettably, that who we went to wouldn't make a difference.
When the work was 'completed' we picked up our vehicle and retuned home only to find a laundry list of problems with the work they did:
- There were 8 dirt nubs, 4 cloth fibers, 9 sand specks, and a large grouping of sand specks in the finished paint job.
- There was paint on the mirrors, glass, and weather stripping.
- The clear coat finish was rough in 2 spots and along the seam of the door.
- AND They pilfered through our vehicle and STOLE about $25 in change!!
When we returned to go over 30 or so imperfections and the fact that they STOLE money from our vehicle and were told that the paint job was acceptable in their opinion and tried convincing us of the same. They did agree to fix some of the spots and asked that we leave the car with them for one day to buff and remove their errors. Also, they specifically insisted they would not be re-repairing the vehicle. And the end of the day, we called them to find out our vehicle would not be ready as they decided they were of fact going to have to redo the entire paint job.
Once they completed the work for the second time there were still three notable error with the quality of their work: 1 dirt nub, 1 sand speck, and 1 cloth fiber.
They refused to fix these errors at which time I called the insurance agent. One day later I received a call from Pulera asking me to return the vehicle for a third time. I personally marked the 3 remaining errors with a car pen.
When we picked up the vehicle they had corrected the sand speck, put a sand speck where the cloth fiber was and refused to fix the dirt nub they put on our vehicle saying it was a manufacturer defect or error.
The last contact I had was with a customer service representative who apparently works part-time, communicates terribly, and has no idea what she is talking about. She told me they put an 'orange peel' finish on our vehicle and it's 'supposed to look that way.' No lie, I have the voicemail still.
I called and informed them I would be speaking with the insurance company. Come to find out, short of hiring an attorney, there's not much you can do.
My advice is to never do business with them, period.

Either I am a liar or Pulera employs thieves and a cocky young employee[redacted]who doesn't know how to deal with customers. (You decide) I left my car with change in the cup holder ($5-10)as I always do when I drop my car off anywhere for service. Picked up the car to discover every last coin missing. When I talked to [redacted] about it initially, I was laughing and lighthearted because I knew that it had to be a mistake. I figured it was in a bag somewhere at Pulera. It was no mistake as [redacted] called me the following day stating that he spoke with the manager, and everyone at Pulera who dealt with my car, and no one saw any change. He even said "and I didn't see any change in there either." What does this translate to?...."you are a liar." I then had to listen about how HE doesn't appreciate MY attitude..... what a joke! Then he proceeded to tell me that they have a sign stating that they are not responsible. I thought he was joking! Reputable businesses who don't employ thieves and punks don't need a "sign." Then he said "I guess you can just stop by and we'll give you five dollars." That is when I took the opportunity to tell him to keep my money, and watch Pulera's reviews online. My money that was in my car wasn't worth the frustration of having to listen to [redacted] speak anymore. (I even waited two days before posting this waiting for a manager or someone over there to call and apologize for the missing money and [redacted] attitude!....didn't happen) It will cost Pulera thousands of dollars in business in the future as I will of course never use them again, and I am telling everyone about my entire experience there (there were other issues as well). What is funny is as I was telling the story to a friend, he told me about how he had work done there, and the trunk seal leaked after they replaced it....he had to take it back! I hope the money was worth it Pulera!

Don't take your car to Pulera, here's why. Had my car supposedly repaired by these jerks. After my son crashed my car we sent it there to be fixed. To be fair, it looks better than when they got it ,but has a loose headlight, they took off the hood pistons due to hood damage, didn't replace them so the hood won't stay up. There's a clunk in the left front end that wasn't there before, they claim it's a bad strut, again wasn't bad before. The heater/AC now only blows hot air. They told us to take it someplace & get it fixed, again worked fine before these jerks worked on it. I will never recommend them to anyone & will take the time to explain why not to take a car there to be fixed. Stay away from Pulera if you want your car fixed right.----------Lesson Learned!!
