February 3, 2018This letter is in response to the complaint filed by *** *** *** We have tried many times to help *** *** comprehend Puppy City LLC., has honored our warranty", in fact Puppy City has paid for the treatment for coccidia, cost of fecal retest,
and hernia repairNone of these items are covered under our warranty which was signed by *** ***Please note: Puppy City did reimburse these charges to *** *** as part of our good business practice in which we pride ourselves on. A check for $was written and sent on 11-8-It was never cashed, (attached is a copy of the check #***).In response to *** ***'s complaint for not receiving the "package of items with specific values please see below the list of items in question: The microchip is registered under "***" PlatinumThis is one of ***'s Third Party Pet affiliatesThe name has changed but she still has the same service and it is a lifetime membership, (attached). There is a training package that is included with the puppyThe name of this packaged has changed to *** ***This is in the email she had received with the puppyThese are online videos.All our puppies are covered by a day illness and year congenital warrantyWe also have days free health insurance.All of this is included with every puppyWe do not charge for any of these itemsEverything is at no charge to the puppy parents.We have talked to *** *** on several occasionsEither she does truly not comprehend well or is unwilling to because she is looking for money.Puppy City, LLC., has attempted to appease *** *** in every way possible! Review: store sold me a sick puppy, I was told that she puppy needed one more shot and she would be fine to walk, but when we went to the Vet (they recommended), puppy was sick, she needed 2 different antibiotics 3times a day, after a week we went back to the vet and puppy still was sick needed 3 times a day antibiotics 10 more days… when I went to the store and complained that I couldn’t keep up with so much expenses and also I could go to work because puppy needed medicine in the afternoons as well, first they told me they would give me money back , and told me to come back that Saturday, but I had to go back couple times and [redacted] ( I think her name is) unprofessional worker was pushing me to bring a dog to a different vet she gave me the address and that vet would give my puppy a shot and that I should NOT do the blood test or anything for my puppy, she was treating me like I’m stupid and yelling at me, was very unprofessional and rude. eventually they gave me the check only $300. By that time puppy was better I thought and on 11/*/11 I went to the store with ** and my 9 yrs old son, I went to [redacted], who sold us a puppy, and asked him for good chewing sticks for **, he showed me couple and I told him if he could assist me with paying as at the cashier was that rude [redacted] and I didn’t want to talk to her at all. Not sure how [redacted] heard this but she started yelling at me in front of my son and everybody, pointing her long nailed fingers at me, calling me a rude and that I shouldn’t even be in the store. This is outrageous, and unacceptable. Instead of apologize, they are yelling and telling me not to go to the store? Not only they sold me a sick puppy, they gave me a 1 year warranty that if I needed anything, I would get in the store and medications for free even… I want FULL reimbursement for the puppy $1098 and all the expenses I had to spend on her well being as well as getting assaulted and embarrassed from unprofessional at the store in front of my 9 yr old son and telling me not to be in the store? I want all my money back, for lying to me, selling sick puppy, being unprofessional and lying with 1 year warranty and not even let me buy a chewing sticks in the store for puppy, completely unacceptable, my son is devastated, he cried all because of scam Puppy Citi. Nobody deserves it especially a child who wanted a pet so badly and was happy to get a puppy finally,, little we knew it would turn to a nightmare from these unprofessional people! ** is still sick, sneezing and coughing constantly, I cant keep up with it and all the expenses, PLEASE help to get all my money back and have a healthy puppy so my son can be happy.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimburse for all the expenses and also to have a healthy puppy!

In regards to [redacted], she purchased a puppy, and yes it did fall ill, but the money she spent at the vets office was refunded to her, as well as free merchandise such as sweaters, and chew treats. She has come here numerous times, every time getting louder and louder when dealing with her. Everyone who works here has been patient and understanding with what she went through. But it was handled the best way we could handle it, she must have some sort of mental problems, because no one has ever gotten loud with her. She just insists on always getting free merchandise, and unfortunately for her, this is a place of business, and we always want to make the customer happy by all means. In her letter she contradicts her own statement by saying she was refunded $300, and "by that time puppy was better".So months after she bought the puppy, the puppy got better and then she ends her statement with saying the puppy is still sick? She even told some of the staff how much she loves the puppy, and takes it for walks. How happy the puppy is when she gets home from work. She is obviously not mentally well, and needs help. If she comes in again and starts to raise her voice and scream at the employees, we will call the cops next time. No one ever assaulted her, or would even think of laying hands on any customer, but if she comes into our store again, the way she's been coming in, we will involve the cops, and she will be removed from the store.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:It is so unfortunate that this store allows behave so unprofessional their workers so I won't go to the store and other customers don't see how bad this store is selling sick puppies and lie to customers. Only "free" merchandise I got from them was at the purchasing which [redacted] said was included in the price. I never got any medicine or any chewing sticks for free, I was paying to [redacted] when [redacted] started yelling. I will call police and should've called that time, I was not alone and have witness, no surprise you keep unprofessional like [redacted] in store so they can allow themselves anything they want knowing nothing will happen to the and they can lie anytime. I know 4 owners who purchased puppies at puppy city, I will get written letters from all of them, will the store call all of the owners mentally ill too? Shamelessly they lie, I specifically asked [redacted] at the time of the purchase if I could bring the puppy back and get my money and he said YES, we will have one year warranty, which obviously is lie unfortunately I found out hard way. My puppy is Still sick, taking antibiotics for 7 days, we went to the vet and I have copies of all expenses. Out of those 4 owners I know who have puppies for that store, one was so sick after they sold sick puppy to customer, puppy was integer hospital 5-8month and puppy city paid for everything so owners won't notify animal control or any other facilities, another owner's dog need a curtesy and it is so expensive and puppy city won't even help. I will get all written letters from all 4 owners, my puppy knows all these dogs and will see how many people they will call mentally I'll shamelessly. Sham on puppy city and unprofessional rude [redacted]! I will call police when she will again start screaming at me.

Puppy City did try to help [redacted], however the customers husband refused to accept the offer which was given to him. So we can no longer help them at this time, especially after he came in hear screaming, and causing a disturbance to this business.

Review: on March [redacted],2014 I purchased a 10 week old Morkie, within the 2 weeks of the purchase the puppy had a horrible cough. when she was taken to the vet. the puppy was diagnosed with [redacted] if I would of waited another day or so it would have resulted in [redacted]. the Vet filled out a unfit for sale form stating that the puppy was indeed sick before she was purchased. starting with a [redacted]. the vets findings were as followed, quiet and depressed and a [redacted]Desired Settlement: a cash refund on all veterinary expenses. so far on 3/**/14 vet bill was $706.00. puppy has a follow up appointment on 3/**/14. if any other expenses are required full cash refund as well.
