Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:The jaw is calcifiedCalcification does not take place within one week and the jaw broken jaw was diagnosed within one weekDue to the broken jaw the dog requires specialized food and the pug is almost completely blindIt's sad and shocking that you run business this wayI paid $for a pug to breed and I cannot breed it because of it's poor eyesightI realize the dog was sold as is, but it's almost completely blind and you didn't disclose this info when I bought itI even asked about the eye looking peculiar when I purchased the pug and one of the employees told me it was fineI am shocked that as a dog breeder you can be comfortable with your decision to not refund any of the $I believe a refund of $is more than fair [redacted]

The dog was sold as isThe dog was 1/years old, and they jaw was clearly fine at the time of pickupIf the jaw was broken, it would have been apparent at the time of purchase

My employee told me this lady came to my store and bought a puppy, but a few days later he told me “I hope that puppy is okay” Her husband said to her to get the older puppy but she and her daughter said no; they wanted the smaller teacup puppy (which needs a lot of extra care) Her husband even made the comment “oh no they are going to kill the poor puppy just like they did the cat” As soon as I heard that I was worried about the puppy so I called her and asked how the puppy was doing She said the puppy was doing very well, thank you, and they like her very much Then she asked me what kind of puppy food she should buy She had the puppy for two days and she still didn’t have food! This is after my employee spent hours, before she bought the puppy, explaining how to care for a teacup puppy About ten days later she calls me to say the puppy is dying and she wants her money back All she cared about was her money, not the puppy That’s when I knew she didn’t take proper care of the puppy I asked her to bring the puppy to my store so I could take it to my vet The day she returned the puppy I was out-of-town at my daughter’s tennis tournament My employee called me and said she had brought the dead puppy back and threated to call the police if we didn’t refund her money She kept saying over and over that her husband is a doctor and I’m going to shut your business down I asked her how the puppy died and how she could let this happen and not even take it a vet She said “I don’t know’, but somehow now she claims the puppy died from parvo? She acted like a spoiled child, like it’s her way or no way I knew she was going to be trouble so the next day I took the puppy to my vet and asked them to check out how it died The puppy died from a bacterial infection and dehydration I also want to mention when she bought the puppy she signed a purchase agreement that states if the dog has a life-threatening illness she should return it with a letter from a vet stating the type of illness If she doesn’t apologize to me I will have to take her to court

I am rejecting this response because:The jaw is calcified. Calcification does...

not take place within one week and the jaw broken jaw was diagnosed within one week. Due to the broken jaw the dog requires specialized food and the pug is almost completely blind. It's sad and shocking that you run business this way. I paid $400 for a pug to breed and I cannot breed it because of it's poor eyesight. I realize the dog was sold as is, but it's almost completely blind and you didn't disclose this info when I bought it. I even asked about the eye looking peculiar when I purchased the pug and one of the employees told me it was fine. I am shocked that as a dog breeder you can be comfortable with your decision to not refund any of the $400. I believe a refund of $100 is more than fair.
