This lady came in with her year old son late Monday afternoon the 23rdAfter a short time in the store he decided he wanted the largest dog crate we haveHis mother allowed him to throw the biggest temper tantrum I have ever seen in my life! After an HOUR of screaming and crying, with her pleading, begging, arguing and negotiating with him to stop, she gave in and decided to buy it for himHe also ripped of the tags and shredded the instructions while she just watchedShe asked me several times what she should do and I told her to pick up her son and take him home! We do not take dog crates back for obvious reasons but I told her she could return it only if she brought it back by the next dayShe did notOn Wednesday she came back with the crate and I told her it was too lateShe said her son wouldn't let herShe then proceeded to tell him that he would not get his birthday party prompting and purposely instigating another tantrum and I did ask her to leave at that time

I am not happy with there answer and would like case to be opened again. The lady lied about some things. First my son picked the display crate that was opened and not in the box. He did not pull the tag off just a piece of paper which I picked up. She said I did nothing. Second my son has breathing problems and asthma. I told her that and I asked if I could return it right away by phone and have proof. She said yes in two days not one. I calmed the situation down. When we returned she told him and I to get out of the store in front of our friend a firefighter family who helped me bring it back to my car because she would not let me leave it there. She came to my car and said "you need to take your crate."

As you can see, in her first complaint, she says I told her she needed to bring it back by the next day. She just changed her story. They took the one on display because after I lugged the one in a box out to her car, her son threw another giant fit because he only wanted the one on display. The directions that he ripped up were in a hundred pieces on the floor and I picked them up after they left. Not her. Me, my staff and customers had to listen to her sons world record tantrum for an hour! She wouldn't leave. It was very hard to watch this 4 year old tell his mother what to do. I went against policy allowing her to return it by the next day, minus the tag and paperwork that comes with the crate but when I asked her why she didn't come the next she actually said "my son wouldn't let me".

I picked up the paper and she is saying I didn't.  Second she told me to bring the crate back as soon as I can.  I purchased it 10 minutes before the store closed.  The day [redacted] had issues and I tried to get there and I told her the following morning. I went as soon as possible early morning the following day.  I brought my son and crate in and she smirked and said no.  I just want to return the crate and get the money $104.00 back on my card.  She simply changed her mind and that's not good customer service.

All puppy sales are final. This is stated on the paperwork and signed by the customer. Unless there is a medical condition within the first year we do not take dogs back. In this case, I broke policy for her and allowed the return with the condition that she would not receive any money back,...

exchange only. The customer agreed to this. She choose a Corgi but she could have taken any pup up to the price of the first puppy. Also, all prices are posted on each puppy at all times. We do not choose puppies for our customers and She was well aware of the breed and price before her purchase. We could have said no and not allowed the exchange, but we wanted to help her out.Documents provided upon request.
