We know our clients miss their loved ones and are always anxious to have them home as quickly as possible During the visit, Mr *** inquired about additional protection training for *** and was told we would temperament test her for that training if he would like, as all dogs are not necessarily suited for this type of training Mr *** left the facility on October 7th after visiting with *** and seemed very pleased with her training progress, so it was very surprising to us when Mr *** showed up the next morning, October 8th, demanding to take *** home At that time, Mr *** made no mention of any alleged mistreatment of *** He seemed very upset that we did not automatically begin *** in protection training, stating that a competing company had told him that they could train *** for protection work in three days We brought *** to him immediately upon his request, as he seemed unwilling to discuss anything further with our staff We assisted Mr *** with loading ***'s training bed into his truck, and Mr *** was able to walk *** to the car and put her in without any pulling on the leash when he left We take very seriously the allegations of mistreatment made in this complaint Our training is done outdoors, under cover of our 2,sqft pavilion with eight overhead fans to keep our training students and trainers cool while working At no time is the area over degrees, even in the dead of summer At all times students are supervised and have access to water without any exception Students are housed in air conditioned kennels for overnight sleeping Multiple supervised play sessions last for most of the day when the students are not specifically training to ensure they enjoy their time at Puptown Houston and are not kenneled more than absolutely necessary During supervised play sessions, students are allowed to roam our five acre property freely and are often tired after running around and playing with friends.*** was a model student and was well on her way to completing her training goalsUnfortunately, Mr *** decided to remove her from the training program with only of days completed She had completed her basic obedience as well as those goals provided by Mr *** including not pulling on the leash, chewing, and digging We have offered to complete the training for Mr *** at his discretion, including private lessons, classes, or day training We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and guarantee our results, so anything we can do to help achieve the goals we will do for our clients and their loved ones
