Review: I originally purchased a 3 month plan to this facility. When the 3 months were up I decided to join as member for a yearly contract. There was a billing issue because I had lost my debit card and they were not able to take the payment for the fist month. I received an email and responded and it was corrected. I was sick with an ear infection that caused vertigo. I had vertigo for about 5 weeks. Since I never went to the gym during my contract I asked if I could suspend the account. I was told yes. I have not been there since September due to personal illness and a temporary move to ohio to take care of my terminally ill father who just had emergency surgery. The last payment did not go through because I drove away from the ATM and the machine pulled the card in and destroyed it. I have been very busy with my retail job (this is our peak season) and commuting back and forth and hour and 20 minutes one way every day that I forgot to contact them. I received a rude email threatening to turn me into a collection agency if I do not bring my account current. After reading the email I did not wish to continue going there. I can only imagine I would be treated the same in person so why would I? I stated that I didn't want to continue my membership because I moved and cannot go. I then received an email stating that there is no business out there that would do that because you cannot go or use the facility. I run a 2 million dollar business and think this facility has a lot to learn about business and customer service. I'm not paying for a service that I am not using and I feel they are not making me feel welcome to come back if and when I move back to the area.Desired Settlement: I would like my account resolved and no further communication from the business.
