Review: On 11/1/12, I signed a membership agreement with PureFitness for the yet to be opened Westgate Downtown location. They collected $310 ($125 initiation fee, $140 [$70 first and last months deposit] and $45 amenity fee). They said I could use the 701B St location at no charge until the Westgate club opened. There were numerous delays and starting in November 2013, they said they were going to start charging for the 701B St location. I agreed to pay on a month to month basis for that location.

The Westgate location never opened and PureFitness 701B St. closed on 7/30/2014. No refunds were ever offered for the fees paid to join the new club. I asked on 7/26/2014 and a PureFitness employee said "It will never happen."Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of $265 ($70 first and last months deposit and initiation fee of $125) for the gym that never opened.

Review: October 1st, 2012. Paid $310 for fitness membership with Pure Fitness at new facility being being built at Watergate Hotel. New facility never opened and upon request to cancel, Pure Fitness refused to refund the $310.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund due to no service delivered for payment.
