Just had Purely Canadian Movers move my *** yesterday and we (***, myself and my ***) were all SO impressed with the movers They were on time, very efficient and so happily going about moving all of the stuff, making jokes with each other, always smiling and really polite My *** are older and had them move a few items several times as they were not sure where they wanted it and the movers were so sweet, no problem, that is why we are here etc I can not recommend these guys highly enough!
This company could not deliver to new address and needed to follow me to another location on moving day February 17th, This location was a storage facility in VernonThey unloaded my things into two storage units causing damage etcBut the main reason for my complaint is that they were supposed to contact me and provide a bill of lading that described how they would come about billing me for the partial service providedIt never happenedThey did not return messages and then I discovered an unauthorized charge on my *** credit card of $This amounts to identity theft! I've since contacted *** for them to issue me another card because this company obviously can not be trusted with my credit information

Horrible experience with this companyI hired them to move my tenant and they changed me over $over the quoted amount and even had a free hand provided by me for the entire move who did just as much work if not more than each of the moversMovers took a RIDICULOUS amount of smoke breaks (a couple an hour), then charged me for going over the quoted hoursThey had men for a quoted hours to move a fully packed square foot townhouse to a new house only a few blocks away and went over by hoursI had done this same move myself out of the same townhouse with friends in a few hours and these guys are supposed to be MORE efficient because they're supposedly professionalsWhen I asked about the overage they told me they had to supply an extra boxes and the tenant was not packed, which was a lie, and when I told him that did not happen and they did not provide any boxes, he just said then they must have gone over on the timeI attempted to resolve this issue with the company but they were no help
We used these movers for our move on ***After moving all of our possessions, the driver informed us they had damaged a cabinet and a dresserHe assured us they would repair the items and return them to us within weeksIt is now *** and we have still not gotten our items back.I have contacted them times and each time I am put to a different person that promises me our items will be ready in a couple of more weeksThey have called me at times that due to work I could not answer, and when I return calls I either get voice mail or am told the person is out of the office.The last time I spoke with them was on *** and was told that for sure guaranteed the items would be ready in weekSince I have not gotten straight answer from anyone I have spoken to I feel I have no other recourse except to lodge this complaintWe have used these movers on other occasions and the service was exemplary and we are so disappointed ***
We recently moved my mother-in-law to Kelowna and had received some outrageous quotes from other moving companies She only had about boxes, a chair and a small piano Purely Canadian Movers allowed us to share an existing move to Kelowna at a much lower price than the others were charging They arrived on time, loaded the piano with ease, and even delivered the items a day earlier than expected The office staff was wonderful to deal with as well, returning phone calls and emails promptly We will recommend them to anyone without hesitation
