battery portion. (The product provides 90% of its functionality without the batteries attached - but is incomplete.  We made 3 seperate attempts over a year to deliver the battery pack by DHL, by Ecoparcel and by Interlink (European based courier services). Each courier company returned the goods as undeliverable due to rules against shipping batteries by air. It remains at our Heathrow UK freight forwarder depot where it still waits shipping to Tukey.  The main sticking point was the extordinarily high cost of shipping to Turkey by UPS or Fedex - who do not have rules against batteries. The cost was over $600.  I have resolved the issue by opening a new European courier shipping account with Interlink in the name of our UK distribution subsidiary, Audiophile APS Limited, London. It took over a month to complete the account paperwork due to UK bureaucracy, but it is now in place and armed with account status Interlink will accept the shipment.   It was an unreasonably long time to resolve a simple problem. PurePower is a small "build to order" audio manufacturer that was under its own financial stress which significantly added to the problem.   I expect to be able to report a successful shipment with tracking information for the customer by the end of this week (July 22)
