They billed my CC for an entirely different item I did NOT order saying that I missed unchecking an auto-order on a 1 time order 4 something elseWhen I checked my CC last night I saw a charge for their company. I called them this morning and was told that a auto-order for a different supplement was charged and had already been shipped. I was not warned or advised that this would happen. I didn't receive any notice from them that an item was going to be shipped. The only reason I knew something was amiss was because of the CC charge. I was told if I returned it I would be charged for shipping and not given a total refund.I OBJECT!!!! I WANT A TOTAL REFUNDDesired SettlementA total refund of the $69.90 charged to my CCFinal Consumer Response /[redacted]/This situation was taken care of and so I'm now satisfied.I returned the product this morning by refusing the shipment which arrived yesterday.Hello Ms. [redacted], I confirmed that your full refund was completed back to your card ending in [redacted] on 9/3/2014 (Transaction ID: XXXXXXXXXX).

Puristate uses deceptive internet order practices to scam customers into receiving subsequent product.Internet order site clearly notifies customer that option is available for subsequent discounted products. However, despite the fact that I never selected this option, it somehow was enabled automatically with my order. Email was received from company telling me to call and confirm my next order. I thought this was some type of high pressure sales tactic and, of course did not call back. Apparently, since I did not contact the company this was used as my "order confirmation". Desired SettlementI am not opening the box being sent from this company and giving it back to the shipping company. I do not feel it is my responsibility to use an RMA or coordinate with this company on returning product I didn't order. I also want not further products from this company.Business Response /[redacted]/We apologize for any confusion and frustration this customer experienced.All Discount Maintenance Plan benefits have already been cancelled per the Customer's request. The Customer will no longer receive any plan benefits including the free products included in the plan. We have already completed a full refund back to the Customer.The Customer place their initial order on 11/26/2013, chose the optional Discount Maintenance Plan, and received an automatic discount of her initial order. The enrollment in the Discount Maintenance Plan is mentioned 3 times during the checkout process including on the Customer's order receipt.The Customer was additionally notified as a courtesy on 12/15/2013 that her next order was scheduled to ship to her soon.Puristat has been serving thousands of highly satisfied customers since 2001 and we want to help every customer achieve this same high level of satisfaction.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/Puristat has refunded the purchase price of the "optional" maintenance plan.However, I disagree with Puristat's contention that I "chose" the optional maintenance plan. When you place an order, there is language indicating that the optional maintenance plan is available HOWEVER, you do not "choose" it, it is chosen for you as the default. It was not obvious at all that my order automatically included the maintenance plan and I assure you there was no obvious way to deselect the maintenance plan. This is definitely a "buyer beware" issue and this buyer was not confused.In addition, I received an email about "discussing an additional order with a nurse" from the company which I ignored since I considered it an inappropriate aggressive marketing ploy. Again, I did not confirm the additional maintenance order and therefore it should never have been sent. Another example of the company "defaulting" to a purchase without any input from the customer.I would ask that Revdex.com visit the site and initiate an order to understand what I am saying. However, I also have 2 screen captures from the order process prior to entering payment information that may help. If Puristat is indeed interested in customer satisfaction and fair practice, it would be very easy to change their order process to put a checkbox by the language about an optional maitenance plan and update the language to clarify that by clicking the box the customer is ordering the maintenance plan.Thank you for your time
