Still waiting for a package sent two weeks ago within the city (Toronto)Nobody answers the phone for customer support and nobody available for live chat in web page for a weekI visited Purolator office and was advised that delivery of all packages is delayed because of Post Office strike (post was on strike for one weekIt was resolved a week ago and post is now working but Purolator apparently still has issues with their delivery caused by post office strike?!!)They couldn't tell when I should expect the deliveryI offered to pick it up myself from any location but was advised that package is in sorting facility and I cannot have access there to pick it upAs I will be on vacation next week (for three weeks) I should arrange that somebody picks up my package if it is delivered while I am on vacationThey could only hold it for days and after that return if I don't pick it up on timeI am soooooooooo disappointed with Purolator!!!! I will never use it againThe smallest obstruction sets them back for weeksVery unreliable

Package of value around 200$CAD was left in front of my doorstep on display for all the neighborhood to seeDon't tell me you don't have a regional centre ? If this repeats itself I recommend the Revdex.com that this is human not error but business practice

BEWARE ONLINE PUROLATOR ACCOUNT HOLDERS:
If you own a small business and have an account with Purolator we would recommend you to do the following when you send any shipment using ONLINE Purolator services
Take a snap shot of the shipment and airway bill which shall show you where it is going, how much the weight and dimensions of the package wasAlso note down the price shown there
Secondly when your package is ready to ship with airway bill attached, put on the scale you use and take a snap of that alsothis will make sure what is total weight to tally with your shipment papers
The reason for this is to safe guard your charges in the billwe found many times WEIGHT ADJUSTED clause on the bill due to volume and actual weight of the packageMost of the times charged amount was to times higher than the price given on the website which making air way billWe agree there shall be some difference but not multiply by timesWhen explanation was asked it was contradictory
If you use PUROLATOR EXPRESS BOX the size and volume is well known to the system and yet we sent 7.24lbs, weight was adjusted to lbs and so was the priceThere was no explanation when askedSent a package via GROUND, documents clearly said GROUND delivery in USA, yet we have charges for air freight which is about times of price
We started to document all shipments when we suspected this***
PLEASE PROTECT YOUR MONEY AND BE CAREFUL OF BILLING

I ordered an item from *** *** that was send via Purolator I live in a condo downtown Toronto with hour security that accepts packages from delivery companies and over the years I received computers, books, collectables even small furnitureHowever for above mentioned delivery the Purolator attempted deliver the package times and claimed that receiver was unavailable even that I instructed the customer service to live the package with security since they could not give me delivery time (ticket # ***)Instead the package was left for pick up km awayI did pay to get the delivery to my house and if I knew that that Purolator is not capable of home delivery I would not be buying a product from *** ***After second call I was promised that the package would be send to Purolator office km away and hope tomorrow it would be available for pickupIn summary Purolator is extremely inefficient and wasteful of time and fuelI would not use again their service

An item shipping from Vancouver to Surrey has still not been received after two weeks.

Purolator's internal communications system is so poor that even after I submitted a delivery update, and agreed to an appointed day of delivery (July 28), the item did not even make it on the truck. The day after this (July 29), the item did make it onto the truck, but the driver did not actually deliver the item.

I took two days off of work to be amenable to Purolator's delivery window and they failed to meet their own dates. The work I do, if I don't work, I don't get paid. I do not get holiday pay. This has cost me money out of my pocket.

I can no longer trust any promised dates Purolator can provide since they have shown their systems and communication are so poor that any date of delivery they can provide is meaningless.

Attempts to contact them by email, chat or phone are currently not possible due to the long weekend. I wanted to reschedule the delivery from Tuesday the 2nd to another day, but that just is not possible.

If the item does manage to be delivered on the 2nd, no one will be in to accept it, since I will be at work, and the never ending delivery will go on.

At some point I expect Purolator will just give up and send the package back to the sender, which will make it a total failure to deliver on their part.

I understand that there are pressures on them due to the recent additional business, but this has only exposed how poor their internal systems are. At a number of points along the way, this could have all been avoided, and the item either delivered or picked up by me at the nearest Purolator outlet (but, for some reason, it was not at the nearest depot). I can only imagine that the depot and/or delivery person were not fully aware about the appointed day of delivery, or just didn't care.

That my package has been in their possession since July 15th didn't make it a priority for them. What kind of system is that?

Purolator may be fine for businesses, but they should not be doing home deliveries. They will not deliver if they have to use an apartment intercom panel. They will not leave a notice of attempted delivery, like every other courier does. They will not deliver at a later time in the early evening when someone may actually be in to receive the delivery.

I have had other poor experiences with this company, but this is the incident that finally made me want to write a review.

Sent small pkg mar 9th, 2015. We asked for a one day service. We were told it would arrive tomorrow mar 10 I'm writing this on mar 13 , the pkg is not there yet. I called yesterday and spoke to Cindy . She said there was a problem with the address. However, our receipt given to us by puralator had the correct address. I asked if the receiver could pick it up Cindy said no. I asked if we could get a refund on our one day service she said it would take 6 to 8 weeks. Very unhelpful and seemed very uncaring.
Spoke with manager, Steven, he was even worse, several sighs and strange noises as I was waiting for him to gather information, I finally asked him if he was ok?? He further said , problem with the address, no refund, can't pick it up?? Very uncaring .
No one ever asked me to repeat the address. These two puralator staff members could use some customer service training.
Will be using a different delivery method from now on. Puralator is off our list!!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE in every sense!!! Received an email saying that my package had been "successfully delivered" however it was not. Spoke to someone on online chat to try and find where the package had been "successfully delivered" to, who that told me I had to drive to a different city to pick it up because the driver didn't have time to come to my house. I asked specifically if he would try again tomorrow and was told no, that they could request it be delivered again but it would not be until Monday(this was Thursday evening) Drove completely out of my way to go to Purolator first thing Friday morning to be told my package was not there and was out for delivery!!! Tried to call customer service, the wait was far too long. Tried to contact them through the website, the message box would not allow me to write enough characters to explain my issue. Went back on the online chat to get a customer service email which when I sent the email bounced back saying that the email did not exist. AGAIN went on online chat, given the same email, I asked for a new one, the person stated that they had confirmed they email with their supervisor, I sent it again and it again did not go through. I asked for the supervisors email which they refused to give me, however told me that a supervisor would call me in 30 minutes. That was at exactly 10:30am this morning, and I have still not received a phone call. [redacted]

Your drivers don't even bother call the buzzer to deliver , they just leave a sticker for pickup by the vestibule and they claim that recipient was absent,

Pickup desk are rude and disrespectful

I was waiting whole day for the urgent delivery. Driver had my full name and apartment number. But instead of find my name in the tenants list he put the note that "Address correction required - no entry code". So I did not get my item and decided to return it.
