As Mr*** says, he refused to pass my car because my catalytic converter is not on the list of approved partsHowever, as I stated originally, that list applies to parts installed in or later, and I provided evidence that mine was installed in I am running the risk of getting my car impounded because this business has wrongly flagged my car as tamperedI have confirmed this information with my mechanic who installed the part, and also with another smog check stationAlthough I have paid the registration fees, I am not able to obtain a current sticker until this is resolved, and a catalytic converter is too expensive to replace when it's not necessaryAgain, I already explained to the smog tech that the list of catalytic converters does not apply to parts installed before 2009, I showed him the text of the law on my phone, and I offered proof that mine was installed in Although it shouldn't be necessary to go to even that length, that should have been more than enough to get my car tested

[The complaint had nothing to do with oil changes. The complaint was in regards to the 42 point inspection that is still posted as free even if you dont get the work done there. This is still posted on their company website, and is false advertisment in order to get more people in and charge them a nonagreed fee.]
