I'm fighting for my rights and the CA Law consumer protection division of their local district's attorney office or by filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office." She surpris** us all, when she declin** to pay for Smog chk& became very insulting & accusatoryAt this point, we advis** her to pay $&leave the premisesShe argu** for another minutes, but finally paid & left the premises
Upon receiving this complaint from your office (Revdex.com), we don't understand that how can one, show up at a business facility, request a service, SIGN for it, have the service perform** and REFUSE to pay for itFurthermore all the claims this customer ( *** ***) made in her letter are inaccurate & baseless

I am responding to your October 8, letter and I felt very insulted by ** ***'s response
I am going back to my September 15, letter that stated: "**, *** was the person to assist me that eveningHe said,"You must pay $for the smog check." I informed him, "I didn't get my smog checkedI just got a quote." He said, "Well you still half to pay for the servgice." I informed him again, "You never told me that you will charge for a quote, you must tell customers in advance and $is too much." In the end he made me pay the $and I went home upset not even sure what service I paid for." I was forced to pay and sign the document that was enclosed with your October 8, letter or else I wouldn't receive my vehicle from the monsters that have caused this drama
I am insulted when ** *** stated, "Furthermore all the claims this customer (*** ***) made in her letter are inaccurate & baseless." I know they changed the transmission fluid knowing that it would most likely ruin my transmission, if they would have made me aware of that fact I would not have had them change it.  Unfortunately, I did not make a video of them servicing my car.  So, I guess once again, honest people suffer for trusting that people are honest and reputable.

This customer  ( [redacted] ) was advised about store policy the first time she arrived for smog chk. on Sep. 3rd 2014 & several times later when she visited us again.The store policy is that the customer pays for the smog. chk. regardless if the car passes or fails.The customer does not pay for the smog certificate in case smog failure which is $8.25. Furthermore in case of smog failure, if the repairs are performed at the shop, the 2nd smog test is done for free.If the repairs are performed elsewhere, then customer pays for the 2nd. smog chk.This policy was explained to her in detail atleast 3 times. In response all we got from her , were threats of law suits for $39.99.

Company states: She came in and had some basic things like change the oil in the transmission and air filter and oil. She came back said that her transmission had issues. We told her all we do is drain and refill the oil and we don't actually don't open the transmission. That is all we did for her....

We don't do any transmission repairs either. She was advised. The oil in there was not changed for a long time. She never serviced her transmission for a long time. Changing the oil only helps but does not fix transmission problems.

I am rejecting this response because:my first visit was to get my car smogged.  The shop recommended that I get my transmission oil changed, the reason they gave was because it is a high mileage car and the oil was dark. My transmission  was working perfectly but I wanted to get caught up on any maintenance that needed to be done.   I came back on the next Saturday and had them change the transmission fluid.  Sunday my car worked fine, Monday the transmission was slipping and Tuesday it wouldn't shift at all.  I called them, they told me to bring my car in and they would look at what the problem was.  They told me the problem was I have a high mileage car and the fluid was dark, (the same reasons they recommended I get it changed) I had my car towed to a different shop, they replaced the transmission and explained the only way my transmission would fail like it did is if they flushed my transmission fluid instead of draining it, or they used the wrong fluid as a Honda needs a different fluid.  The shop recommended that I have this done to my car, after they did it, my transmission was completely broken. It cost me $3054.00 to fix what they broke.  I would at least like to get the amount they charged when they flushed my transmission.

All the claims this lady is making are inaccurate She did yell and scream, stood in front of the main entrance and accused everyone of trying to take advantage of her.No one here called her names, as she is claiming.She is the only one who yelled out bad & demeaning words towards the indian gentleman.She refused to leave for awhile and did block one of our bays.As we mentioned in our previous response ,we diagnosed her vehicle only.We informed her about her catalytic converter leaking.That is what she came in for & was charged for it.Pointing out cracked belt & broken mount was done only as courtesy to customer.She was not charged for maintenance inspection.She was shown the cracked belt and the motor mount & was advised that she can take the vehicle to service station of her choice.She responded very badly by questioning everyone's integrity & called everyone names.She was asked to leave at this point, as mentioned in our last response... Review: Hi, my complain in regards to the manager at perfect auto how unprofessional he was. brought my car in to perfect auto last week for a smog check. while my car was getting smogged I was standing outside the shop talking on my phone not too far from my car outside the garage and the gentleman who was getting my car smog called me over and showed me there was hoses that had to be replace and mention my car had been tempered had me go back into the office where the manager gave me an estimate didn't have all of money at the moment so came back next day and paid the $120 to the manager. The paperwork shows that my car pass smog except for the visual the two hoses I was more than happy to pay just wanted my car to pass smogand completely he made me feel I had no choice because from what he explained to me not even my mechanic couldn't order the hoses he said special license was neededto place that order and he gave me an appointment date to come back 3/24/15 as soon as I arrived into the office with my mother and daughter he started telling me about all the electrical work they can do there just smiled and said good to know then he asked me if wanted to get my car smogged I replied sure already gotten my car smogged whatever it took to complete passing seem like he wanted me to pay again.my mother daughter and I were standth outside the garage since we couldn't be inside to where I can see my car the manager came out insisted that we would go behind the car on the other side it was clear he didn't want us watching and he completely flipped out and told us to leave and get out of there he was furious and was cussinghis body language is very aggressive actually scary we felt disrespected and humiliated all I can do is ask for my money back and started to cry.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund

Review: Idropped my car off to a regular oil change when I picked up my car there were multiple scratches on the hood of my car that was not there when I dropped the car off I went inside the office to tell them about the scratches and basically they told me I was lying so I called the police and the police in formed me to get an estimate on the damage and report this to Revdex.com, [redacted] and the [redacted] and go to small claims court when I finished talking to the police I went to pay for the oil change I got my receipt and on my way home something told me to read the receipt carefully and the owner trying to cover his but from the damage put a comment on the bottom of the receipt the hood was scratched prior to service which how would the owner know he was not there when I dropped the car off nor did me and his employee do a walk around the car so how could he put this on the receipt on after I complained and called the police on them also I asked for the worked order they wrote when I dropped the car off he told me he no longer had it I told him this is a business its in the computer system plus I signed the work order as he was talking I took a video of the conversation and the the owner turning his back and moving his mouth to the employee who had helped me then threatened to call the police on me so I told go ahead call the police so can tell them how he falseified my receipt and refusing to give me my orignal work order I know my rights as a customer and he should have given me the receipt.also I got an estimate from an auto body shop next door to purrfect auto and he told me the scratches were recent so I gave the owner a copy of the estimate and the police he suppose to call never showedup so he was lying about that to this happened on 6/24/14Desired Settlement: paint the scratches on the hood of my car that happened in his shop

On June 24th - 2014 [redacted] brought her 2005 Honda Accord Licence plate #[redacted] - for oil change service. When our technician went outside to the parking area to bring the vehicle in, he noticed scratches on the hood of the vehicle. He documented this information on the invoice. (Invoice #[redacted] is attached). Upon pick up [redacted] (customer) claimed, that her vehicle's hood is scratched & accused Purrfect Auto for the damage. We informed her that those scratches existed prior to svc & were documented on her invoice. Furthermore those scratches look old & not fresh. At this point, she became very loud & insulting. She called everyone names & issued physical threats to the entire staff. At this stage, she was asked to leave the premises. She refused to leave & started threatening the staff again. Police was called due to her threats & refusal to leave. Police arrived & escorted her off the premises. About thirty minutes after being escorted off the premises by Police, she appeared again, this time demanding paper work, that she had already received & signed. She was asked to leave again, she refused. Police was called again. This time she departed, before Police arrived. [redacted]'s accusations are totally & completely inaccurate & baseless. Review: I brought my van to this station to determine the cause of an occasional noise I'd hear in my vehicle. At first an older gentleman served me listened to my vehicle and advised me he heard NOTHING wrong with my engine or transmission and suspects it to be an exhaust issue. He told me it would be $50 for a diagnostic and should I choose to have the repairs done there that would be asorbed. After about 2 hours of them having the car I returned to their shop with 4 out 5 of my children. And at the time they told me my catalytic converter was the cause but along with that I had multitude of problems with the car including my belts, motor mount, and a transmission flush. I immediately discredited their claims of all issues including the catalytic converter as I had recently had 2 of the additional suggested repairs done at the [redacted] dealership within the last year. I told the bald headed man of eastern decent that I didn't believe that was valid and he in turn he'd have his mechanic show me the belts etc. His mechanic lifted my hood up and immediately told me he couldn't show me the belts and pointed at a loose rubber piece attached to a metal piece and said see that is where its broken do you see. I told him no I didn't and all I could see is a lose rubber piece he in fact himself pulled apart. I went in and paid the diagnostic fee under duress and told the bald man I was doing so and thay I don't appreciate his dishonesty had he just been honest I'd of been a good customer. He told me verbatim [redacted]I don't want your [redacted]as a customer why don't you learn to read you [redacted]. He said all this in front of my 4 children. Another customer I relayed this to as I immediately called Revdex.com to find out my course action heard me speaking on my phone and confronted the man and the man continued to refer to me as a stupid it who just don't want to pay to a 3rd party not involved.Desired Settlement: Truthfully if this how this business regularly operates I would like to see their business revoked as well as refund and possible monetary damages as a punitive result for attempting to defraud me and in fact publicly humiliating me.

On July 22nd this customer ( [redacted] ) came to our shop to diagnose a noise coming from her vehicle. She signed for $49.95 diagnosis fee & left. When she came back, we advised her that the catalytic converter in her vehicle is leaking & recommended replacement. We also advised her about cracked drive belt & broken motor mount. At this point, she became very loud & disrespectful.She started yelling & accused everyone of trying to take advantage of her. We further advised her that, we only diagnose the problem & that she does not have to fix it here. She is under no obligation of any sort & she can take it to any service station of her choice.She responded by more yelling & issuing derogatory & racial statements about the manager's Indian heritage.At this point we asked her to leave the premises.She declined to leave & kept on yelling profanities & racial slurs against Indians.She blocked one of our bays with her van & continued her yelling for another 15 minutes & then finally left.We did not call POlice, because we did not want to make a scene with other customers. I am rejecting this response because: this is not true. I did sit in my car while I was contacting the Revdex.com via phone but was not blocking bay. Nor did I make any racial slurs of any sorts. The man of eastern decent called me defaming remarks including bh whore and it in front of 4 of 5 of my children one of which is 15 years old and can attest to my version of the events. There was 2 other female customers present and they also observed the behavior and one actually confronted the eastern man asking him why he felt it needed to call me out of my name and his response to her was I was just mad because I didn't want to pay for repairs. Not true they made fraudulent statements of repairs suggested as they put in their response but I have supporting work orders from the [redacted] dealership in Modesto California to contradict their claims. They didn't ever perform a diagnostic on my vehicle and their own mechanic couldn't show me my alleged broken motor mount nor my cracked belts and I was also advised that I needed a transmission flush but that and the belts were the items serviced recently. It's my belief they're using any arsenal possible as I prewarned them I was contacting both the Revdex.com and bar as well as my credit card company.

I am rejecting this response because: again I believe the business is trying to deflect their managers anti female remarks by trumping one ups with the raxe card. As I stated before I had my children with me one of which was a 15 year old boy and when I read the response he laughed and stated they're lying. It's ridiculous. I'm obviously not going to make any head way with this company and will feverently boycott it's business by letting everyone I know with intent to do business with thus facility the way they conduct themselves and the way they condone their employees behavior. And note the mechanic specifically told me he couldn't not show me my allegedly cracked belts as to where they were positioned so how were they shown to me? & as for me "blocking" their bay. Their mechanic is the one who parked my van there which was directly in front of their front office not their bays. I have phone longs I can compare to the time of the invoice in which I was on the phone with a telephone representative with the Revdex.com to verify I at no time yelled. Representative actually commended me on being able to maintain my composure. But I digress this company is dishonest disrespectful and opportunistic if you look on their yelp reviews theres other complaints regarding the bald eastern man being unprofessional and disrespectful. I hope this business loses their license. I wish to no longer communicate with the business and hopefully Revdex.com takes action. I willl forward all items to the cc company and recoup my monies for the diagnostic never performed. Ps. If there was a diagnostic performed there should be a print out of the findings. I did not pay for nor do I think any consumers pay for an assumption. But nonetheless I do believe my car NEVER received even a visual diagnostic let alone a professional one. And also have documentation to prove repairs "suggested" were recently repaired by an actual nissan dealership.

Review: On 9/3/14 I went to Purrfect Auto Service to get smog check for my year 2000 Toyota Camry. T [redacted] was the person to assist me that evening. He checked my vehicle and informed me that the vacuum line connection isn't working properly and will need to be changed so I asked, "How much it will cost to get it fixed through your auto service. He informed me that it will cost $130.00 for the part and $65.00 for labor. I immediately declined because I didn't have that kind of money to get one part fixed. I thanked him for his quote and asked me for keys so I can go home. He said, "You must pay $39.99 for the smog check". I informed him, "I didn't get my smog checked. I just got a quote." He said, "Well you still half to pay for the service." I informed him again, "You never told me that you will charge for a quote, you must tell customers in advance and $39.99 is too much." In th end he made me pay the $39.99 and I went home upset not even sure what service I paid for.

On 9/5/14 I asked my daughters friend to come by and install the vacuum line connection that bought I from O'Reilly Auto Parts on 5417 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento CA 95841 for $90.00. It took 5 mintues to install and I would have paid $65.00 for labor at PurrFect Auto Service. On 9/11/14 my friend and I went to Purrfect Auto Service to talk to the owner and get the smog check done that already paid for. We walked in at 4:05 p.m. and spoke to Ta, [redacted] who was the same employee who assisted me on 9/3/14. He kept interrupting her and refused to listen by showing moving body language and turning is eyes onto another interests. Then [redacted] walked in and **, [redacted] said laughing, "You want to hear this story." [redacted] said at 4:11 p.m., "You are so stupid, you will not receive free smog check service." I told him, "I paid for the service that I didn't receive!" Before walking out I said, "I will let the Revdex.com know how you are treating customers like they are walking money and not humans." **, [redacted] and [redacted] laughed without an interest towards the problem.

I enclosed a Vehicle Inspection Report and receipt that I paid $39.99 on 9/3/14.

Please provide me help by dealing with this business. They have treated me with disrespect and didn't provide me the service that I was expecting. I would recommend for you to check their records of how many customers they've chanrged for just a quote and not smog check. I consider this a legal crime and they need to be stopped!Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $39.99 that I paid.

On Sept. 3rd 2014 [redacted] brought her 2000 Toyota Camry to Purrfect Auto & request** a smog chk. She sign** the invoice for smog chk. amounting to $48.24. (copy of invoice attach**). The smog test was perform**. Her vehicle fail** the smog test, due to a broken Air Duct. She was given the option to have the vehicle repair** at the facility. She declin** all the repairs.

Her final bill came to $39.99, which was $8.25 less than original estimate. (the cost of smog certificate, not issu** due to her car failing the smog test).

She surpris** us all, when she declin** to pay for Smog chk. & became very insulting & accusatory. At this point, we advis** her to pay $39.99 &leave the premises. She argu** for another 10 minutes, but finally paid & left the premises.

Upon receiving this complaint from your office (Revdex.com), we don't understand that how can one, show up at a business facility, request a service, SIGN for it, have the service perform** and REFUSE to pay for it. Furthermore all the claims this customer ( [redacted]) made in her letter are inaccurate & baseless.

I am responding to your October 8, 2014 letter and I felt very insulted by [redacted]'s response.

I am going back to my September 15, 2014 letter that stated: "**, [redacted] was the person to assist me that evening. He said,"You must pay $39.99 for the smog check." This customer ( [redacted] ) was advised about store policy the first time she arrived for smog chk. on Sep. 3rd 2014 & several times later when she visited us again.The store policy is that the customer pays for the smog. chk. regardless if the car passes or fails.The customer does not pay for the smog certificate in case smog failure which is $8.25. Furthermore in case of smog failure, if the repairs are performed at the shop, the 2nd smog test is done for free.If the repairs are performed elsewhere, then customer pays for the 2nd. smog chk.This policy was explained to her in detail atleast 3 times. In response all we got from her , were threats of law suits for $39.99.

Review: . I went to the location listed below on April to get my Smog Certificate for the DMV, it was a quick and inexpensive trip, and in fact I never heard my car start up. It was recommended that I replace the transmission fluid because my car has high mileage and the fluid was dark and the valve gasket. I returned on May 2nd 2015 to get the transmission fluid changed, I also got an oil change and a new air filter. The next day my car ran great, the next day the transmission was slipping and on the next day it wouldnt shift at all. I called them to let them know of the problem, they asked me to bring my car back so they could look at it. I should mention that my car was running great BEFORE they worked on my transmission. I took my car back and was told I needed a new transmission, I asked them to explain, and it was working great before they worked on it. They told me my transmission was broken because I had a high mileage car and the fluid they changed was dark. This is the same reason they gave me when they suggested I have them work on it. They took no responsibility at all. They told me they would try to find a used transmission and would put it in for $1800.00. I would never have the same people that ruined my transmission put in a used one. I had my car towed to a reputable shop. They told me my transmission had been flushed and that is what ruined it, if they had drained the fluid and replaced it, my car would have been fine. I ended up having to pay $3054.00 to get a new transmission. Im not a wealthy person; I work hard for my money.Desired Settlement: I would like to at least get the $165.00 that I paid when they destroyed on my transmission. In a perfect world, I would love to get the $3054.00 that they cost me to replace what they broke, I maxed out credit cards and borrowed money to be able to get my car running again.

Company states: She came in and had some basic things like change the oil in the transmission and air filter and oil. She came back said that her transmission had issues. We told her all we do is drain and refill the oil and we don't actually don't open the transmission. That is all we did for her. We don't do any transmission repairs either. She was advised. The oil in there was not changed for a long time. She never serviced her transmission for a long time. Changing the oil only helps but does not fix transmission problems.

I am rejecting this response because:my first visit was to get my car smogged. The shop recommended that I get my transmission oil changed, the reason they gave was because it is a high mileage car and the oil was dark. My transmission was working perfectly but I wanted to get caught up on any maintenance that needed to be done. I came back on the next Saturday and had them change the transmission fluid. Sunday my car worked fine, Monday the transmission was slipping and Tuesday it wouldn't shift at all. I called them, they told me to bring my car in and they would look at what the problem was. They told me the problem was I have a high mileage car and the fluid was dark, (the same reasons they recommended I get it changed) I had my car towed to a different shop, they replaced the transmission and explained the only way my transmission would fail like it did is if they flushed my transmission fluid instead of draining it, or they used the wrong fluid as a Honda needs a different fluid. The shop recommended that I have this done to my car, after they did it, my transmission was completely broken. It cost me $3054.00 to fix what they broke. I would at least like to get the amount they charged when they flushed my transmission.

I know they changed the transmission fluid knowing that it would most likely ruin my transmission, if they would have made me aware of that fact I would not have had them change it. Unfortunately, I did not make a video of them servicing my car. So, I guess once again, honest people suffer for trusting that people are honest and reputable.
