Pursuethebestpurse.com Reviews (%countItem)

I was emailed stating that I had won a free gift from this company, just pay shipping. Have been charged 98.54 x 2 now!
I was told I was getting a free item just paying shipping. I agreed to the terms thinking this is what I was agreeing to! Little did I know that they would start charging me 98.54 a month without me even knowing. I've been charged the last two months for this. This is very unethical business practice and it is deceitful and wrong.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of the full 197.08 that you stole from me!

Pursuethebestpurse.com Response • Mar 16, 2020

We have refunded both charges back to the customer on 3/16/2020. Please allow up to 7 business days for the two refunds of $98.54 to reflect. Both refunds will reflect separately as they were refunded separately on 3/16/2020.

This company sent an email stating that I had been chosen to receive a reward through *** for my membership. There were several items to select from and a description of the MSRP and notice that I would only pay for shipping. Thinking that this was truly an *** reward, I selected a watch and entered my Mastercard information to pay for the shipping. Today, while reviewing my bank account, I discovered a purchase for $98.54 taken from my account by pursuethebestpurse.com When I called to question the purchase, I was informed that I had signed up for a 2 week trial and that I would be billed in full if the watch was not returned. I saw nowhere in the original message that this was a trial. When attempting to recover my money, I offered to return the watch to which I was informed that all purchases were final. After some argument, I was able to recover 50% of my purchase.

This company should not be allowed to reel in innocent people with misleading contact. Again, I was under the impression that I was being rewarded for my *** membership, NOT purchasing a 2 week trial for a cheap watch through this entity.

Refund I am perfectly willing to return the item in exchange for the balance of my money being refunded.

Hello Mr.,

I have reviewed your order and refunded the remaining amount of $49.27 back to the card you originally used to place the order.

Please allow up to 7 business day to see the remaining balance reflect back to your account.

Customer Response • Feb 19, 2020

This is unsatisfactory given that this is only 50% of the amount I was unknowingly charged. As stated, I will happily return the product for a full refund.

Pursuethebestpurse.com Response • Feb 19, 2020

I looked further into your order details and see the following:

You were charged $98.54 on 02/15/2020

I show a refund issued on 02/18/2020 the amount of $49.27 when you spoke to one of our support representatives during your call on 2/18/2020.

The remaining balance of $49.27 was refunded by me today, 2/19/2020.

I show the initial charge of $7.27 on 02/01/2020; as of today 2/19/2020 I have refunded that amount in full.

There are no other transactions on your orders. You have been completely refunded in full as of 2/19/2020. This should be sufficient.

I was offered a free gift with a single payment of $7 shipping and handling and was charged $98.54 at a later date.
On November 17th, I was working on a teacher website and was asked to take a survey for the website. At the end of the survey, I was offered a choice of one of several free gifts as a thank you for completing the survey. I was given 5 minutes to make my choice and fill out my shipping information before the offer expired. I looked around the site quickly for any catches to the deal, but saw nothing. I had a choice between a male or female watch and was given a picture of each. I chose the male watch, was charged the $7 and received my watch about 5 days later. The watch looked nothing like the one I was shown in the website. The one I was shown was a fancy silver watch with lots of detail. The watch I received was a weightless, cheap, plain watch with a gold colored rim. I was disappointed, but I figured I'd let it go because it was basically free. Two weeks later, I noticed a charge on my bank account for $98.54 from the same company. I called the company and was informed that I was enrolled in a membership automatically when I accepted the gift. The "gift" was not actually free, but it was a free trial and I had 14 days, including the order date and shipping days to return the watch before I would be charged the full $98.54 for it. When I explained that this was not at all made clear on the website and that the watch was offered to me as a free gift for completing the survey, I was told that it was my fault for not reading all the terms and conditions. I asked her where they were on the site and how I was supposed to find and read them in less than 5 minutes and she just kept insisting that it was still my fault. Furthermore, when I explained to her that the watch I ordered was not the one I received, she told me that the watches were chosen at random and you got whatever they sent. I told her that was crazy and clearly misleading since only two pictures were shown (one male watch and one female). She refused to refund my money even though I called the day the pending charges showed up on my account. I asked to return the watch and she said there were no returns or exchanges. She did cancel my membership.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund for $98.54 as I didn't even get what I ordered.

Customer Response • Dec 02, 2019

Almost immediately after my phone call with this company, I received an email from them stating that a full refund would be issued, even though they told me on the phone that they would not do that. As of this morning, all funds minus shipping and handling have been returned and I am now satisfied.

I took a survey and was offered my choice of gifts only having to pay postage. They have now taken $98.54 without my ok. Want my money back.
Fashion Life Style - ***@fashionlifestyle2019.com
I took an online survey which offered a gift of my choice for free but had to pay shipping. I ordered a "Female Watch 101" and paid $7.27 for shipping of said watch from my debit card. I received e-mail from Fashion Life Style indicating the order/confirmation number: ***, indicating the payment was made. I did look over the website to see if I was signing up for anything and did not see anything indicating I would have further payments for joining or becoming a member of something. On 11/11/19, the same company took $98.54 from my account which I did not authorize in any way shape or form. I want my money back.

Desired Outcome

To have my name on whatever they put my name against that would cause my to pay $98.54 removed. Also a refund of the $98.54 that was taken from my account without my permission.

Customer Response • Nov 27, 2019

All monies have been returned.

We took a survey and were offered a handbag as a gift.
we took a survey on *** and were offered as free gift if we paid shipping & handling

Desired Outcome

We want the charge of $98.54 reimbursed. We didn't agree to this charge. We only agreed to pay the shipping and handling fee of $6.96.

To Whom It May Concern:

The complaint filed by customer *** was escalated over to me.

I found that *** became a customer on July 15, 2019. It appears she registered for a 14 day trial, where the customer only paid for the shipping cost, to try-out the product for 14 days and if she was not satisfied or did not like the product, we requested the customer inform us by either calling into our toll-free customer support or email to cancel within the 14-day trial period. Once the trial period was over, the customer agreed to be billed the retail price of the product received, which is $98.54 and then be enrolled into a monthly subscription membership every month until the customer cancels.

Our website does outline all the details of the trial, subscription and any terms. These can be located on the payment page of the website. In order for a customer to move forward with the initial shipment, our customers are required to accept our terms and conditions which directly state the above.

On August 23, 2019, *** reached out to our customer service line and at that time the account was cancelled and a refund of $98.54 was issued. We believe we satisfied, the request as, the subscription was canceled, and we have issued a refund.

I was billed for $98.54 for membership in a club I didn't sign up for.
I ordered a "free watch" from an online company. I paid for shipping. Two weeks later, the company took $98.54 out of my bank account. I called and told them that I never saw anything in the fine print about this yet they still won't refund my money. By the way, the watch is a cheap piece of crap that doesn't even keep accurate time.

Desired Outcome

I want my $98.54 refunded to my bank account. In the future, they should make it abundantly clear to the customer that they are signing up for a membership and that this money will be automatically taken in two weeks.

Pursuethebestpurse.com Response • Aug 29, 2019

Although, we do not agree with all of statements, we processed a refund of $98.54. We believe we satisfied, the request as, the subscription was canceled, and we have issued a refund.

Customer Response • Aug 30, 2019

The company has refunded my money.

I was asked to complete a survey and, in exchange, would receive a gift for the price of shipping. Instead Iwas billed for a monthly fee for product
I was given no notice that I would be signing on to a monthly subscription for products that I do not even want. The billing of $98+ dollars came as a surprise.
I notified my card company; stopped payment; notified the company that I do not want their product and would not pay them.

I feel that their practices are deceptive and they should be stopped.

Desired Outcome

Resolution: --Rescind the billing of $98+ dollars -- Take me off their subscription Lise -- Stay away from me -- Confirm that I owe them no money and that I am free of their services.

Pursuethebestpurse.com Response • Aug 27, 2019

Thank you for contacting us regarding this complaint.

Although, we do not agree with Mrs. statements, we processed a refund back to her. We believe we satisfied, the request as, the subscription was canceled, and we have issued a refund.

I fell for their free watch w/$7.99 in shipping deal and two weeks later they billed me for $98.
I am so upset!! I agree to the free watch offer and just shipping paid ($7.99) and that was it. Two weeks later, I am shocked and upset to see a bill for $98!!!!! My account is overdrawn and I am beyond upset. I want my money back! Payment method for watch was through my debit card.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund and I am NEVER ordering from this scam company again!!

Thank you so much for resolving my issue!!!!

Take a servay, and get a free gift, just pay shipping.
I am a disabled veteran, and I was prompted to take a servay from *** the week of the 24th of june and then pick a free gift, in which I chose a watch that was said to be worth over a hundred dollars. a week later, the watch came, but it was to small for an adult person, and it wasn't the watch that was shown on the pick list. this watch can be bought in the dollar store the way it looks. I did not Authorize or join any or sigh any agreement of any kind. A week later, this company called livelifeshopping.com charged my bank account 98.54 for the watch. I see that there are numerous complants of this same nature. I can barely live on what I get, and I can say that between the two companys, there is a scam going on some where. This is wrong what these folks are doing to people, especially the seniors like me. can you help?

Desired Outcome

I would like for them to refund the money they took from me , and stop this practice of ripping people off.

Should have an option for 0 stars here.
*Fraud merchant alert peeps
I suddenly got a call from my credit card company of a notification of a fraudulent transaction, I got to know that I have been charged 98 $ for a purchase a 14 days before. Now, I brought a watch as a part of completing an online survey, as advertised on the web page. They showed an option "Claim your prize, a watch, only pay the shipping". The cost was just 7$, the watch is a cheap brand watch. No way they can charge me $98 for the same. When I called them they said with the acceptance of the watch there is an automatic enrollment with their subscription/membership, which has cost me 98$. And the worst part when I asked to refund the money they denied.

Pursuethebestpurse.com Response • Jun 18, 2019

We are sorry to hear you feel this way, and do not agree with the comments. We do see you have been issued a refunded.

They said because I took the survey the watch was a gift for taking the survey and all I had to do was pay shipping. I was later charged 98.54
I received a survey in my email box about ***. after completing a survey I had a choice 54of several gifts. I chose the watch. I was then advised that I had to pay for shipping of the watch. I paid the shipping with my credit card. The watch was delivered to my house and it is a typical watch that you can get from any five and dime store. the watch is gold in color with a silver silver fastner(buckle)' I put the watch in the draw. A couple weeks later I have a charge on my credit card account for $98.54 . I called the number on the Revdex.com page to Livingwellshopping.com and was told they that they don't do refunds or exchages but that they can reduce my payment by 35% plus 15% employee discount for a total of 50%. I told him that I thought that they were crooks and that there whole survey promotion was a scam

Desired Outcome

a complete refund

Pursuethebestpurse.com Response • Jun 10, 2019

Customer Response • Jun 10, 2019

I have not received a complete refund s of to days date 06/10/2019. I have received a partial refund of 49.33. THE TOTAL PAYMENT EXCLUDING SHIPPING WAS $98.54. I still have the watch and will send it back as soon as I receive some shipping instructions. I have also received from that company another SCAM SURVEY which I promptly deleted.

Pursuethebestpurse.com Response • Jun 17, 2019

The remainder of the amount was issued on 6/10/19. We believe since a full refund was issued, we have satisfied the request.

Received an offer for a purse for only shipping and handling at a price of 7.99 Now the company is billing me 98.54.
I was told I was being offered a special deal on a product if I completed a survey and would only be charged Shipping & Handling charges of 7.99. I paid via my debit card and received the purse I chose as my gift after completing their survey. Now I'm being charged the 98.54 for the purse. I did not agree to these charges! I can not afford these charges. They are false advertising. I want my money refunded. I'll send their purse back! It's a tiny piece of junk not worth that much money.

Desired Outcome

A refund of the 98.54 and no further charges!

This company offered a $7 watch and then a month later took 98.54 from my bank account that was not authorized by me. This was straight up fraud. Neve

Customer Response • Apr 08, 2019

I wish it was as easy as the company made it sound. First of all, the company isn't actually the company they advertise to be. I had to actually verbally fight with them over the phone to get the name of the real company. They were very rude and reluctant to give it for some reason. Second, it wasn't until numerous phone calls and several emails that I was awarded a refund. I am thankful for the refund, However, what it took to get it was absurd. Thirdly, the watch they showed in the picture when I first placed the order, looked NOTHING like the cheap watch I was sent. Lastly, the agreed to send a replacement watch for the first one and that one looked cheaper than the first one! By no means should they be charging $98.54 for these watches! They are deceitful. These watches are cheaply made and looking and an insult to anyone who orders them! Thank you Revdex.com for your participation in this dispute!
