Review: Since The month of August of 2013 I had acquire a gym membership at Push Fitness which includes personal training. For the first month I had begun my membership, the service was moderate. However, I had encountered a few issues. For example, email confirmation. Part of the service is an email confirmation from the trainer confirming the schedule date which I do not receive often even after I had complain to management and my trainer which he had assured this would be corrected. It came to the point when I had came to the gym at my schedule time and when showed, my trainer would turn me away because he was already with a client. There would be another issue when I did not receive an email confirmation and later receive a confirmation stating that I did not show. Once again, I had to confront the trainer ([redacted]) about these problems which he later apologizes, he had told me I would require to text him for confirmation to avoid this incident. At that time, the schedule appointment I requested was from Saturday 10:15 - 11: 00am. I would later had to change my day (Sunday 10:00am - 10:45am) to avoid any altercations and oblige to their request.

In the month of September, I was recently promoted at my work of establishment which I needed to change my schedule time from the weekends to the early weekdays. The gym manager ([redacted]) oblige to my request and a new trainer (Carlos Lora-Diaz). Once again I would succumb to the same issue with email confirmation and reconfirming appointments through text message. My final straw was when I receive a text message without any warning from my new trainer claiming he could no longer be my trainer the day before a scheduled appointment. I told him this was unacceptable. I receive no phone call from [redacted] and I wanted an explanation. I sent an email to him who not only convince me this was an exceptional establishment but also the person who recommended me Carlos due to his reputation and establish fighter. Three weeks would go by and no one calls me until I sent a disgruntled email concerning my unsatisfactory service to [redacted]. He tells me the new trainer ([redacted]) tried to reach me which I told him this was false. I forwarded my phone number that day via email to [redacted] even though I had given my number to the staff and my previous two trainers. Once we were finally able to communicate, he reiterate he was trying to reach me and that I never answer. I replied that he was mistaken. I did not want to deal with any verbal spat and I decided to move on. He requested on what was my desired schedule time, I had told him I prefer Wednesday from 5-45am. No weekends. When I told him this he did not realize that my sessions were 45 minutes and he would need to call me back so there would not be any conflict. No calls were return.

On November [redacted], I sent an email to [redacted] once again reinforcing my frustrations and propose two options with this matter.

1) compensate for the time that it has been owe to me without charging me since October.

2) if you cannot find a trainer that cannot accommodate my schedule, then eliminate my training and charge for my gym membership only and They have a day to response.

I get a response from [redacted] and he tells me [redacted] has been waiting for me to get back to him and he would talk to him that evening and he would settle this matter once and for all. I responded that I am done playing games. [redacted] has not returned my phone call since he has last spoken to me. He said he was going to return my call that evening based on which day which be good for me after he was going to speak to another client. I needed a decision immediately. The following morning [redacted] replied that he requires on the schedule day I desire.

My frustrations are at a boiling point and I feel they are not taking this matter seriously which is why I am filing a complaint at Revdex.com. I would like to reiterate that I am not trying to breach my contract but to compensate based on the service agreement I paid for .

FYI - I will be away from November [redacted] to November [redacted] but will return on November [redacted]. I can be reached at ###-###-####

If you require to view my contract, do not hesitate to contact me via email.Desired Settlement: 1) Compensate for the time that it has been owe to me without charging me since October.

2) If they cannot find a trainer that cannot accommodate my schedule, then eliminate my training and charge for my gym membership only.

3) To extract my funds from my debit card during normal business hours. When extracting my funds, my bank would prompt me that fraudulent act is being committed on my account. I would have to call my bank stating that it is not.

Response:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Push Fitness Club regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Sincerely,

Review: My wife and I were members of Push Fitness (separate accounts) and, in November of 2015, we found another gym closer to our home. We signed a request to cancel the membership in November (can't remember the exact date) on the same day. My wife receives a call confirming cancellation effective 12/**. I did not hear back from them (perhaps I missed their call), but I never received any voicemail from them.

I checked my credit card statement today (1/*/2016) and noticed that there was another charge on my credit card from Push on 12/**. I called the billing company and explained the situation to them; they asked me to contact the gym directly. I called the gym and they said that my cancellation was not processed until December, so the agreement says that I needed to give them 30 days notice. When I explained to them that my wife was cancelled on 12/** despite signing the agreement on the same day, they said that they weren't able to help me.

I asked them to see if they could find the original signed cancellation, the lady said that she did not have it. I asked them to check when I signed that agreement, she said that she doesn't have that information.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on this last charge. It makes ZERO sense that my membership would be cancelled 1 month later than my wife's when our contracts run concurrently and we requested cancellation on the same day. Additionally, their notes mentioned that someone left a message when they tried to contact me - this never happened as I had no voicemails from the club.

Sincerely,

Review: On 11/**/2014, the sales representative [redacted] sold personal training agreement saying it was for 8 sessions at $275. No where during the discussion Justen mentioned that this will go beyond 8 session or a year. Based on the verbal discussion, he made me sign a digital sign pad without showing the contract which was on computer monitor facing him. At the time, I was not provided with an electronic or a printed copy of the contract. However on 12/**, I was told that that I have in fact signed up for 12 months of personal training and I will be charged $250 per month. After further discussion, the gym emailed the contract that was digitally signed.

I find what they have done is very deceptive and took advantage of me.Desired Settlement: Cancel the contract beyond 8 sessions that was signed through deception.
