I have known Diane Hoag, owner of Puss N Pooch, for many years. She is not "just" a pet sitter; she's a caretaker for my home when I'm away. She is reliable, accommodating, and, above all, caring. She is truly a member of the family and puts my mind to ease each and every time I head out of town. I am grateful for the services that she provides and I wouldn't trust my home and fur children to anyone else.
I have used Puss and Pooch for a couple of years and highly recommend their service. With 5 dogs I had an impossible task of finding someone willing to devote the time they required. Diane is awesome with all of them. I will continue to use her for my pups again and again. Thanks Diane for being there for us.
I used this service in October 2015 as I went out of town and could not take my pets. I've never used a pet service and checked out several. Met the owner Diane and she seemed fine to do the work. I have cameras in my home that send an alert to my phone when movement is detected and I can view live video feed. She was to come 4 times and I paid her to do so (she got her money on the first visit). 2 visits were required for Sunday but she did not show for the evening visit. She had texted me prior at each visit, I texted her 4 or 5 times and called her and left messages and never received a response regarding the Sunday evening visit. I never saw her on the live feed from my camera. When I asked her about it she sent me a rude text that said in part..."loosen up, this isn't Chicago"....as I am originally from Chicago. Not sure what that was suppose to mean but hardly appropriate. She also claimed that something had to be wrong with my cameras, sorry but I was watching the live feed and she never showed. This put a bad taste in my mouth for such services and will NEVER use PussandPooch.org and Diane Hoag ever again. If she had apologized and explained that there was an issue for her to get there or something, I might understand, but she's not watering plants, she is caring for living creatures.
