We have dealt with Alder Glass on several occasions and have been extremely happy with their products and service. We have recommended them to family and neighbours and will continue to do so.
Our dealings with Alder Glass and Aluminum have been the worst experience we have had with any company/business doing work on our home in over 40 years of ownership. The work that was promised was not done satisfactorily. A further attempt to rectify has left us with scratched windows (newly installed), and hours and cost on our part to repair the window frames. Communication on their part was very poor; our phone calls and emails went unanswered. We were forced to make four personal visits to the company's office to have our concerns dealt with. We strongly feel that the company does not live up to its promise of job satisfaction. Rather than satisfaction, we were given excuses and at times blamed for our negligence. We would not recommend this company to anyone.
We are prepared to discuss this further with anyone caring to learn more. We still have the original written estimates, re-estimates, and numerous emails and phone notes which we collected over this three month debacle
My wife and I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Marc and Alder Glass & Aluminium Ltd., for helping us out with replacing some windows in our house. Marc was extremely knowledgeable and didn't pressure us into buying his product(s), but rather explained the differences between all of them and what would better fit our needs and budget. Marc's expertise was reassuring and much appreciated. When calling their office for more information, I actually spoke to someone after one ring and NOT put on hold...imagine that kind of customer service nowadays. The office staff were also very polite, knowledgeable and so helpful. I had a great experience dealing with all of the staff and in particular Marc. I would certainly recommend Alder Glass to anyone looking for professional assistance all around!
