her vomit that matched the foil found on plastic baby food containers. We did the responsible action and contacted the mother as an emergency. The father told us a couple days later that she had a container in her mouth at his home . We use glass jar baby food a lot so as upsetting as this was it happened at her home. We never made the phone call that she's implying. We do not have trash on our floors.
Mother lost her state assistance and was told in many occasions of her upcoming bill. She knew the credit was running out at the end of October. We spoke on the phone and face to face as to what her bill would now be. An invoice went out on October 29 for what November would be.
We have a call in policy that is handed out in our handbook that explains you're paying for an enrollment week not just the days that you decide to show up. We have a signed contract from her agreeing to these terms. Mother has had child in our facility for many months and was not following our rules. Many times we would have to contact mom to see where her daughter was and if she was still interested in being enrolled because we haven't seen her for many days. Again mother was told that she had to pay even if her daughter was not there and she explained that the child would be with her dad on many days and I again explained but you still have to pay for those days. On several occasions I waived the late fee for mothers late payments when she was receiving state.
Mother decided to have her own mother watch her child and has not called in to make a payment or unenroll , therefore she was still liable for her payments. I am the one that terminated her childs enrollment because she was never there and because mom hadn't paid all month so the statement above indicating she pulled her child is incorrect.
Mother threatened to sue us if we didn't stop her invoice. Mother did not hang up on director , the director hung up on her after being called a degrading name. We are a professional place of business and will not be verbally abused or threatened.
We take pride in our center and treat all of our customers with respect . We follow all of the state guidelines required.
I agreed to work with mom on payments and to be lenient on letting go of some of the days she wasn't there to help her and then found this complaint. Unfortunetly, sometimes you run into customers that want to work their way out of the responsibilities they created by stirring up drama.
We are very saddened that mother acted this way when we were all connected to her child and provided her with the best care possible.
