I purchased a [redacted] from PW Auto sales for 5,999.00. I purchased a [redacted] from PW Auto sales for 5,999.00 on 8/29/2014. I paid 2,500.00 down on the vehicle and 508.00 for taxes and registration. The notes on the vehicle was set at 199.00 a month for 24 months. As strange as it seems, the sales paper advertising the vehicle had zero intrest and zero financing. On my bill of sale I notice I was charged a 500.00 finance charge. Moreover, the minute I paid my taxes on the vehicle which was 508.00 on 09/2014, I had trouble with the owner of the car dealership. He said that he misplace the title and that he would have to give me another drive-out for the vehicle. Since this was only the second drive-out that I was receiving for the car I said ok no problem. When it was time to pay my car payment again on 10/2014 he said that he still couldn't find the title yet. At this very moment, I started to think that the car dealer was trying to get over on me. so I refuse to pay anymore payments after that. I told the Owner until he comes up with my title am not making anymore payments. Two months pass, the owner repo the automobile. Let me remind you that I have paid the owner 3,700.00 on this vehicle, he only wanted 5,900.00 for the car. It doesn't take a rocket scienst to figure out whats going on here. Desired SettlementI want my money back or another vehicle.Business Response Mr. [redacted] purchased a [redacted] from our place of business on 8/23/2014. The sales price of the car was $5499.00. The sales tax was $508.00; this money is not towards the purchase of the vehicle. He did not make a payment in the month of October. His next payment was on 11/7/2014 for the amount of $200.00. He was behind at this point and he did not return to make another payment until 1/15/2015. At this time he explained that he had been going through some hard times and had been in jail for a duration of time. We at PW's Auto Sales try to work with the customers that keep in contact with us and are putting forth an effort to make payments or arrangements. We have never advertised a no finance charge agreement. He was not charged any interest on his purchase. Mr. [redacted] was fully aware of the price of the vehicle and signed a contract stating everything that was payed and owed on the vehicle that he chose to purchase. His contract states for him to pay his sales tax on his first payment and he was left with only 17 notes of $200.00 and 1 note of $99.00. He broke his contract when he did not return for three months. The number that was given on his contract was no longer working and Mr. [redacted] decided to move without informing our business that he had done so. Our repo man stated that the lady that handed him the keys said, " I don't know how you would have found this car because we haven't told them where we have moved." We have been in business since 1997 and have never had someone complain on the way we conduct business. We do have the title to the vehicle that Mr. [redacted] agreed to pay for and would gladly let him pay off his balance and get the vehicle back even though the amount of time has passed that we had to give him to pay the car off. He was sent a letter in the mail on 4-7-2015, the day we repoed the vehicle, to the address that we have on file for him stating these facts. We can no longer finance or do any business with Mr. [redacted] because he did not keep the terms and conditions that are required to acquire and keep an account at PW's Auto Sales.
