could not be installed until the weather allowed. The railings were installed and completed on 4/10/2017. The rear stairs have yet to be completed, which I have attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] on 4/25/2017 via email, and 4/27/2017 via text message, and received no response.The new Pella windows which were installed show minor damage to 3 of 16 windows. Only 1 of these windows is actually damaged and may need to be replaced. But certainly not all windows were installed damaged. I have been in contact with Lowes/Pella since February to come up with a resolution for the windows. The water does accumulate in the crawl space and does appear to be an issue that needs to be resolved. However there was never any discussion or notation on the blueprints that pertained to drainage underneath the new crawl space. It is my opinion that this is ground water, and I do not believe that pertains to the contract. The new heating system that was installed, was installed according to specific requests by the homeowner Mr. [redacted]. The specifications typed by Mr. [redacted] are an attachment to the contract that state exactly what he would like done, and has been done. There is currently a balance of $11,500.00 remaining on the finishing items. These items by my understanding should be: -rear concrete stairs-repair of the windows-and I will have the heating company look into another solution to what is not an inadequate installation but making Mr. [redacted] unhappy.The project did take longer than initially proposed and I had a discussion with Mr. [redacted] in which I stated that I would not charge for work added to the contract (approx. $2,500) to attempt to compensate for that delay.
