This letter is in response to the complaint filed with your office by [redacted] regarding the property located at [redacted] ***.The work performed at the address above carried into the colder/winter monthsDue to this the front porch railings and rear concrete stairs could not be installed until the weather allowedThe railings were installed and completed on 4/10/The rear stairs have yet to be completed, which I have attempted to contact Mr [redacted] on 4/25/via email, and 4/27/via text message, and received no response.The new Pella windows which were installed show minor damage to of windowsOnly of these windows is actually damaged and may need to be replacedBut certainly not all windows were installed damagedI have been in contact with Lowes/Pella since February to come up with a resolution for the windowsThe water does accumulate in the crawl space and does appear to be an issue that needs to be resolvedHowever there was never any discussion or notation on the blueprints that pertained to drainage underneath the new crawl spaceIt is my opinion that this is ground water, and I do not believe that pertains to the contractThe new heating system that was installed, was installed according to specific requests by the homeowner Mr [redacted] The specifications typed by Mr [redacted] are an attachment to the contract that state exactly what he would like done, and has been doneThere is currently a balance of $11,remaining on the finishing itemsThese items by my understanding should be: -rear concrete stairs-repair of the windows-and I will have the heating company look into another solution to what is not an inadequate installation but making Mr [redacted] unhappy.The project did take longer than initially proposed and I had a discussion with Mr [redacted] in which I stated that I would not charge for work added to the contract (approx$2,500) to attempt to compensate for that delayEven though the exterior work could not be completed due to weather.I have every desire to address Mr [redacted] s needs and provide the best solution available to resolve this issue as soon as possible.Desired settlement:Confirmation of payment upon completion of the above itemsJames M [redacted] Jr.PresidentPyramid Group, Inc.Phone: ###-###-####
