I received your customer complaint letter and would like to respond I’m very aware of this situation and I’m working to fix this matter After reading the complaint I agree with most all of it However the time in which I was notified has not been months We did have a claim with the ***’s and I turned it over to our insurance Anytime I do this the insurance takes care of it I pay my deductible and everyone moves on I was contacted at the end of June by the ***’s to find out nothing had been done yet This was a surprise and I contacted the insurance adjuster to get an update on this claim I’m continuing to speak with our insurance to resolve this matter and feel confident this will be resolved soon Sincerely, Kent DPetro

This was a missed communication problem I allowed my client to bring parts to the job He brought wrong parts several times so I had a lot Of problem to schedule the work it was $1,000.00Left on the contract price the work need to be doneTo complete the project worth no more than $400.00I tell him to use the balance to pay some body Else but he refused hi want me to do it I'm very busy but I'm doing it it will take me one moreWeek to finish I have reviews all stars ( check my profile In Home Advisor) this is the only client with Problems

I am rejecting this response because: The problem is still unresolvedI have since spoken to the company and once again I am promised that the work will be completed and isn'tThere has been some progress, but not nearly enoughThere are still problems with the electrical, the plumbing, the doors for the shower,(of which he is supposed to supply), the wall is not patched, there are so many little thingsI reach out to him weekly and am told that things will be done, yet they never areI have been extremely accommodatingThis long of a delay for such a job is unheard of let alone unreasonableAdditionally, when the tile trim was finally repaired, they just slapped up whatever they hadThe tile I paid for and had chosen specifically for my bathroom was torn down due to many mistakes and obvious defects of the work performed and then replaced with something completely different than what I had chosenMost recently the county permit inspector for this job dropped off a note explaining that the completion of this job needed to be ready for final inspection and the permits that Pyramid had pulled as well as the additional permits that I was told to pull to have this completed of which I paid for again not listed in the contract as an expense I would incur however did are now expiring! So I still have no functional living space and my home can't be sold or rented which is costing me hundreds of dollars in lost income each monthI don't understand why the comment has been made that the job is very small and only $worth of labor to finish it remains? Well if it is so small why not follow through with your commitment and complete it? I have recorded phone calls, text messages, letters, emails, and a letter from an attorney who assisted me in my efforts to negotiate and encourage Luis S*** to complete this job of which he has been paidHe has not followed through with of his promises and obligations towards this matterRegardless of the ratings on home advisor which by the way persuaded me to hire Pyramid Remodeling to do this job in the first placeIt is obviously not the way things are handled for every customerMy advice is to make sure you find out who the insurance company is that Pyramid is covered under, get a time-line detailed contract that states when jobs will be done and what happens if they are not and NEVER pay for the work to be done in advanceAlso make certain that permits are in place prior to any work being done and that the inspections are happening throughout the process of completionPLEASE allow me the opportunity to get what I have paid for and further compensation for the ridiculous length of time it has taken don't forget this was when I first met with MrS*** and have not had a bathroom sinceThat is enough to validate my claim in and of itselfAside from the poor communication faulty workmanship and countless no show days that were scheduled to have this work doneI have done everything in my power at this point to accommodate the scheduling and provide access to my home so the work can be completedAll I have asked is call me and I will do whatever I need to to make sure your able to come inside and workAs of now I have spoken to Louis aprox + times and Every time I am promised the moon and left hanging and disappointedSo I do not believe him when he says he will be here to finish, or that I "won't have to pay another cent" his words as he sswore he would be doing everything else without any more expense to meA complete lie as I just paid him another $for the toilette to be installedI cannot afford to hire someone else to complete this job and I have already hired and paid someoneIt is not really reasonable to just quit in the middle and say hire someone else and pay them $When I have already paid Pyramid and they have created the mess I am left with

I have attached my response to Oxford Oil.  Please note I responded the same day I received this and didn't excuse my lack of response as thinking it was junk mail?  This in itself tells you what kind of business people these are.
