Client had 6" clay riser in such bad shape that a camera or 3" cutter could not penetrate the line After excavation and repair of existing riser, to a point where it was possible to see down the riser, it was revealed that the client had a full grown decorative grass growing at the bottom of her sewer, as a result of landscaping planted at the surface After walking client thru the entire situation, we recommended a root treatment to try and break down the existing root ball, as it was so obvious to all parties involved, that this was a catastrophic issue This process requires hours to penetrate with no water use in the home Four months later the client called with issues Python Plumbing was in contact with the client throughout the entire process This happened over Thanksgiving holiday when we were unavailable and the call was returned first thing Monday morning Python plumbing offered to re-cable and camera (at a discounted rate) and, if required, submit to StLouis County to confirm whether or not it is covered under the lateral replacement program The client cancelled the appointment. It was then revealed that the client had [redacted] out to perform jetting warthog service on her sewer There is no more violent machine on a sewer than a warthog Client disclosed that [redacted] was also out to the property to cable the line last week.In years we have never experienced such issues and our record and reputation speaks to that

Python Plumbing LLC was out to *** *** *** the morning of 12/1/and has confirmed that the once misaligned riser, is still repaired as it was the day we repaired on 8/2/ This repair took additional time to manually dig by hand The additional time, in addition to the cost of the root treatment was a wash for the scope and was explained to the client that day and all three parties agreed Our office left a voicemail for the client on 8/4/to follow up after service was completedThe client had not attempted to contact us again until 11/24/PM when a voicemail was left on office recording over Thanksgiving weekend Unable to contact us, the client disclosed having *** *** out to her property on 11/24. Our office returned the call first thing Monday morning Python left a voicemail and was first in touch with the customer personally when the call was returned at noon (Please see call log.)11/27: It was discussed to have a cabling appointment scheduled but the client requested that there was a discount on cost for work to be completed The client did request to speak directly with the owner of the company several times The owner was on another job site and unable to be reached The account was reviewed and we offered a discount to return for cabling and scope The client was contacted on 11/to schedule the first available appointment which was 11/ The appointment was marked as move up requested in the event there was an opening sooner The client called and cancelled the appointment The client has since requested no further contact from Python Plumbing. I am rejecting this response because:
For one the work done was August 3rd I had major back up November 22. I was never told, or expressed to that the root treatment wasn't the answer to fixing the problem. I was assured that they did see the problem and addressed it. Also was not in contact the whole time which is my biggest complaint.  I was told all day that  [redacted] would  getting ahold of me and never happened then when I spoke to them on tuesday  they weren't giving a discount and wouldn't be out until Thursday which was unacceptable because I had been unable to flush toilet or shower since Wednesday. Also I was charged $485 for riser repair which 2 plumbers have said they see no or little little work was done then I was charged an additional $420 for cabling and camera which I didn't receive instead he swapped out root treatment service for them and said it would be a wash but the company that they contracted out [redacted] said the root treatment was only $100. So I was overcharged for sure. Also thework they did wasn't done properly or I wouldn't of had this kind of backup insuch a short amount of time.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

her sewer, as a result of landscaping planted at the surface.  After walking client thru the entire situation, we recommended a root treatment to try and break down the existing root ball, as it was so obvious to all 3 parties involved, that this was a catastrophic issue.  This process requires 10 hours to penetrate with no water use in the home.  Four months later the client called with issues.  Python Plumbing was in contact with the client throughout the entire process.  This happened over Thanksgiving holiday when we were unavailable and the call was returned first thing Monday morning.  Python plumbing offered to re-cable and camera (at a discounted rate) and, if required, submit to St. Louis County to confirm whether or not it is covered under the lateral replacement program.  The client cancelled the appointment. It was then revealed that the client had [redacted] out to perform jetting warthog service on her sewer.  There is no more violent machine on a sewer than a warthog.  Client disclosed that [redacted] was also out to the property to cable the line last week.In 43 years we have never experienced such issues and our record and reputation speaks to that.

Python Plumbing made an initial consultation visit to discuss the proposed sewer scope, bathroom construction, installation of basement laundry, relocation of a water heater, relocation of gas lines, relocation of exhaust piping, excavation of concrete, backfill and finish pour, Permit and...

inspections included. (1.5 hours)Python Plumbing composed a bid and drawings for the project at Mr. [redacted]s home.  Python submitted bid.  (2.0 hours)Python Plumbing made a return consultation visit AFTER Mr. [redacted] had another party complete the sewer scope portion of the bid.  (1.0 hours)Python Plumbing made yet another return visit to spray lines so that the concrete contractor that Mr. [redacted] found on Craigslist could break and excavate the areas needed because they were not qualified.  Upon arrival we learned that the Craigslist contractor arrived days earlier than scheduled and began breaking out the floor (Marked by the sewer scope party, NOT Python) BEFORE the licensed plumber was scheduled to lay them out.  (1.0 hours)Upon receiving signed contract and deposit Python applied for permit. We were then notified that Mr. [redacted] was not being reimbursed for the excessive amount of concrete that was compromised by his Craigslist contractor and that he had to cancel the contract.  Mr. [redacted] stated that he spoke to the code officials and that Python had applied for a permit but not paid for it.  Python had to confirm this firsthand and contact the code official.  The code official stated that no one called about our plumbing permit application and that it was not paid for.  He then asked why we were not obtaining the permit at this time.  We informed him of the situation and cancelled our permit application.  We informed Mr. [redacted] that his permit fee of $169 would be refunded.  The it was brought to our attention that he was slandering our company on social media stating that we increased our prices AFTER congract agreements were made.  When we actually REDUCED our price $5000+/-.If you require verification of the way STL county handles permits and situations like these please contact the Dept of Public Works and speak to the Code Official.Mr. [redacted] was charged for the time and multiple trips spent on his property. We are a licensed, bonded, insured company with ZERO blemishes on our record dating back to 1974.  Mr. [redacted] is upset because he doesn't want to obtain the proper permits or construct his basement in a code compliant manner.  We knew nothing of a stop work order until receiving this correspondence from the Revdex.com. If you have any questions or follow up please contact me at [redacted]Master Plumber, Master Drainlayer Python Plumbing, LLC
