This review is regarding the way they handled Donut Fest in Brooklyn, NYThe day before the event I emailed them and asked if the event was still happening as we had a blizzard warning and were already being advised to stay indoorsThey said the event was going as planned as "we don't control the weather" and no refunds would be givenThe next day was a complete white out, the governor and police issued a travel ban and getting to the venue wasn't possibleA friend sent an email to them again and again they said the event would continue (despite the weather warnings) and no refundsComplaints began to be posted on their [redacted] pageOne woman called the company and was met with disrespect and blatant unprofessionalism - she was even hung up onNot surprisingly, the [redacted] page disappearedWhen it went back up the negative comments were gone, along with a post the admin posted encouraging people to completely defy the travel ban and show up anywayOne common response from this company was "we need to pay for the venue"I found this highly questionable as this event was advertised as being for charity and that "100% of the profit was going to the NY Food Bank"So if they need people to attend and spend money in order for them to pay the venue, 100% of the profit did NOT go to the Food BankThe blizzard did not appear out of nowhere, they had plenty of time to reschedule but chose not toThey refused to compensate ticket holders and offered no resolutionsThis company clearly has no idea how to run an event and has successfully proven they know nothing about customer service
